The document discusses various graphic design, radio production, and advergame production techniques and experiments. It provides advantages and disadvantages of working in Photoshop and Premiere Pro. It compares different advertising products and reflects on key lessons learned and areas for further development, such as improving Photoshop skills, learning more about audio software and animation.
4. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop It’s one of the easiest
and fun to do especially with the colouring and designing.
• You can create posters, games, photos and uses pixel art.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop It’s complicating to
use and how learning how to use e.g the tools and layers
etc. And doing pixel art is very tricky.
5. Graphic Design Production
They both have winter wonderland backgrounds
both have bottles of Coca Cola in the snow both
have same the tagline explaining how they taste.
6. Graphic Design Production
D - Difficult to get the
right kind of font for the
tagline.
D – Difficult to get the
pictures in place.
A – Had an idea of
which pictures I would
use.
A- Had an idea of the
background.

8. Radio Production Experiments
At first it was difficult to record because there were some problems with
recording and making it clear, Chantelle showed me how it’s done and the
it worked from there and then we both had ideas to make the sounds.
Sweet wrappers – Fire crackling
Tin foil – Snow crunching
A little bell – Jingling bells
Then I listened back to it although it sounded differently.
I enjoyed doing it
9. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in Premiere Pro You can change the
volumes, it’s easy to download recording on to Premiere
Pro and listen to sound and do your own recordings and
you can also import sound, you can do special effects, edit
videos, add text, change the brightness, contrast and
colour and that beginners can use it.
• Disadvantages of working in Premiere Pro It will take time
to learn how to use it, you have to save your files in one
place otherwise it will error and stop working, could be
confusing because of the names and options
10. Radio Production
• https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9wVKCDl5NY
• Link to coca cola christmas song advert
• My radio advert started with music with a little jingle and then
happy themed music with bells in the middle and ends with
handmade jingleling bell.
• The YouTube advert started off with festive themed music and
singing "Holidays are Coming" and it carries on with the same
song all the way through.
• Mine dosen't have festive like music in the background but
the YouTube one does, mine is made up of separate
sounds
11. Radio Production
• I used Premier Pro to create my radio advert I learned how to
bring in MP3 files and how to edit them to get the sound I
wanted.
• The advert could've been longer
14. Advergame Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
• I like working in Photoshop because I can put things on
different layers and that makes changes easier to make
like turning layers on and off. It makes it easier to see
the picture more clearly with zooming in and out.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
• There are lot of things that need to be remembered
like all the tools and the keys on the keyboard.
15. Advergame Production
They both got
bright colours
and the
characters are
happy the
audience for both
would young
people.
Both pictures are
seasonal
because the one
on the left is
Christmas and
the one on the
right is summer
holidays.
The difference is that
products on the
picture above are the
characters however
on mine the coca
cola is a collectable
16. Advergame Production
They both have one
representation of Christmas
in the centre and snow is
falling in the background and
there's a lot colour and
brightness on both pictures
On this picture
there's more
objects like the
collectable cola
can and the
moving star. And
has the
level number in
the corner.
17.
18. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the
best? Why?
• I think my advergame represents Cocoa Cola because it's
easy to understand what it's explaining about and because
the player is playing the game, they will remember Cocoa
Cola better.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
• I think the poster is the most professional because it has a
heading and a slogan, and the slogan sounds professional.
And the background really stands out.
19. Reflective Triangle
Write down one key
thing you have learnt
from this project
Write down two
things you would do
differently if you were
to do this project
again and how you
would do that.
Write down three
things you still need
to develop your
understanding on or
skills within.
I learnt a bit
more about how
to use
Photoshop
Making the
radio advert a
bit longer
Could've
included
some audio
for my
advergame
I want to
improve a bit
with using
Photoshop
I want to improve
with audio software
programme
I want to learn
more about
animation.
