Analysis Of Samuel Huntington s Article, A Genetic Fallacy
Samuel Huntington s entire article is more broadly written as a genetic fallacy, by using general
assumptions about the Mexican problem. Additionally he more specifically uses Ad Hominem
fallacies to personally attack all Mexican immigrants character by using statements to infer that they
are exceedingly fertile or have less interest in education. He narrow mindedly accuses them of being
uneducated, resource using threats to our economy with out providing any real facts to back up his
premises. Huntington fails to recognize our country was built by the hard work of immigrants, the
damage and repercussions segregation has on their quality of education, and finally he falsely
proclaims them to potentially become a threat to our nations safety.
Huntington declares, America is moving in the direction of becoming a bilingual and bicultural
society. (Huntington, 2000) However, our county was built off of immigration. We have always been a
multi cultural country from the beginning. It is ignorant of him to say that Mexicans are exclusively
the reason for that. The foundation of our country was established by the persistent work of
immigrants, so to associate them migrating to our country as destructive is nonsensical. To single out
Mexicans as the only ethnic group that is a serious problem could be considered racially bias.
Most Mexicans in our country simply don t have the same opportunities to receive the quality of
education that Anglos do. Huntington states, In

1. Introduction
Financial stocks are the shares issued by financial industries. With the development of global

countries. As a result, each nation s fluctuation of stocks plays a significant role in its own economy.
Furthermore, the financial stocks that act as an important sector of the whole stock market are caused
fluctuating by a large number of factors. Without exception, there is a great number of reasons for the
volatility of Australian financial stocks, which cause the whole financial share market fluctuating
unsteadily in Australia as well. The purpose of this report is to discover the most influential cause of
financial stocks volatility in Australia. Moreover, This report will analyse three main factors: a
combination of three financial instruments, legal framework and inancial industry fundamentals,
which influence the volatility of Australian financial stocks.

Islam and Christianity Comparative Religious Study
Islam and Christianity are significantly different religions with its followers holding many opposing
views and theories. Therefore, most find it somewhat challenging to acknowledge any common
morals or similarities between Christianity and Islam. Through the comparative study of these two
religions, one can identify such similarities and differences. Comparative religion is the examination
of different religions and how they relate to one another. It is becoming a large factor in present day
discourse mainly because diverse, pious groups are having closer contact both individually and
collectively (McGuigan). The goal of comparative religion is to train individuals to critically think
about the cultural, social, historical, and intellectual circumstances within religious relationships.
Although Christianity and Islam are considered different religions, one must fully understand each to
recognize the many commonalities they do, in fact, share.
Christians and Muslims beliefs tend to resemble up to the point of Abraham. After Abraham, the ideas
and theories start changing. In the Bible, Abraham was the son of Terah. God told Abraham that his
descendants would grow and become slaves of a great nation, but then shall come out of that land with

The Rise And Fall Of Lenin s October Revolution
When Lenin was born, no one knew that he would be the leader of the Communists. which is
remembered to this day. This was a great man. Lenin was in school, sometimes to his molested boys.

Ilyich lived or as a rich citizen, and as all the people who surround him. He ran around and handing

The Consumption Of Fast Food
The number of kids affected by obesity has tripled since 1980, and this can be traced in large part to
lack of exercise and an unhealthy diet (Pedro et al.). Caloric intake has increased enough since the
1970 s which explains the rising trend in obesity, while caloric output has remained essentially
unchanged. Americans are eating more unhealthy food and intaking more calories, causing this
nationwide epidemic. The big fast food chains market their foods to Americans constantly. On
average, teens see three to five fast food ads per day (Muntel). Fast food is ingrained into the minds of
children and the craving for it stays with them even when they are adults. Americans should eliminate
the regular consumption of fast food because the fast ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Extra fat in the body can lead to numerous amounts of diseases. Including heart disease, stroke, high
blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, and asthma. This is a major issue, since obesity rates are much higher
among children, teens, and adults who consume fast food regularly. Obesity leaves adolescents with
problems for the rest of their lives, which is why Americans should eliminate the regular consumption
of fast food from their diet.
Nonetheless, it is a remarkably tough task to get Americans to eliminate fast food from their diet. The
expenditure of this unhealthy food is very common in young America. Fast food consumption has
greatly increased in the past forty years because of low prices compared to the rest of the market and
the fast paced American lifestyle. America has the fifth highest teen obesity percentage in the world,
with more than fifteen percent of teenagers being considered obese (Muntel). According to Dr. David
Ludwig, director of the obesity program at Children s Hospital Boston, teens who consume fast food
regularly intake 190 more calories per day than ones who did not. Adding up to eleven extra pounds
per year (qtd. in Holguin). This is a pressing issue, considering 1/3 of adolescents aged four to
nineteen eat fast food daily. Conceding that this high of a percentage of the adolescent population eats

Housing Planning And Estate Planning
Overview
Nearly everyone has an estate. Your estate consist of everything you own including your car, other real
estate, personal possessions, home, furniture, checking and savings account, investment, and life
insurance, among others. Regardless of how large or small, each of us has an estate, and there is one
thing in common, you cannot take it with you when you pass away. When that happens (and note, it s
when and not an if ), you probably want to control how your estate are given to organizations or
people you care about.
To make sure your wishes are put into practice, you need to provide instructions that state whom you
want to receive something of you own, what you want them to receive, and when they are to receive it
Of course, you will want this to happen with the least amount paid in legal fees, court costs, and taxes.
All this process is what we refer to as fundamentals of estate planning. And estate planning is
basically making a plan in advance and naming whom you want to receive your estate.
Comparison Piece on Estate Planning from Trump and Clinton
Nevertheless, fundamentals of estate planning have not received the same view among people. For
instance, current presidential aspirants, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have totally different views
about estate planning.

Analysis Of Nervous Conditions
Nervous Conditions draws much focus on the lives of women living the impacts of colonialism in a
traditional African society in Zimbabwe. These women struggle to assert themselves in a patriarchal
society while at the same time it speaks about the history of a country that has been under
colonialization. The female characters in the stories struggle in their lives to find ways to deal with
their own situation; however, this essay emphasizes African women s situation in both the colonized
and/or patriarchal societies as exemplified by the female characters: Tambu and Nyasha. Tambu leaves

Nervous Conditions narrates the harsh experiences of women in Africa who happen to be subjected to
the patriarchal system and to the colonized regime. In Imperial leather, Anne McClintock indicates
that, colonized women, before the intrusions of imperial rule, were invariably disadvantaged within
their societies, in ways that gave the colonial reordering of their sexual and economic labor very
different outcome from those of colonized men (6).Women s experience of colonization by this sense
is enormously different from that of men and their experience of colonization upholds influences on
women s life, relations, status and roles within their own imperial societies. The colonized women
must
negotiate not only the imbalances of their relations with their own men but also the baroque and
violent array of hierarchal rules and restrictions that structured their relations with imperial men and
women Clintock p.6). Exploitation is the colonizers logo and women in this novel are being
manipulated for the benefit of the patriarchal society in the same manner the colonizer deploys the
colonized for his own means.
Traditional and cultural practices reinforce the power of men in African societies and are often
embraced without any questioning. Tambu, is denied access to education because she is a girl. Tambu

education to be a male preserve. Tambu s

The s The Painted Veil By W. Somerset Maugham
In his The Painted Veil, W. Somerset Maugham tells a complex story that addresses sex, infidelity,
marriage, personal growth, and life lessons. The tale being introduced in this literary work focuses on
the primary female character, Kitty Garstin, and her husband, Walter Fane. The central focus of the
story is the marriage between Garstin and Fane and how the two characters act and display their
feelings towards each other. From the very beginning, it is transparent that the distribution of love and
affection in the marriage in not mutual at all. Fane is completely love struck at the beauty of Kitty;
she, on the other hand, feels a heavy feeling of hatred and contempt towards him. While his feelings
towards her are common knowledge, her feelings toward her husband are concealed, or so she thinks.
Kitty s immaturity towards her marriage, her husband s happiness, and her lover s true motives land
her in a situation that she finds quite horrid. However, throughout the duration of the story, Kitty
begins to develop in both her self and her non self . When faced with the aspect of certain death and
despair in the cholera stricken Mei tan fu, the character of Kitty Garstin Fane grows in an exponential
rate. She finally begins to understand the wrongs of her previous actions, the wrongs of her previous
mental state, and the wrongs of her previous life as a whole. While she still cannot stand even the
slightest thought of her husband, she is, arguably, a completely

The Iran Iraq War Necessary
It was in 1980, a massive attack was headed Iran s way, from its neighboring Middle Eastern country
Iraq. This war between the two bordering countries was nothing less than a deadly fight that did not
benefit either side more than the other. Costing hundreds of thousands of lives and damages that to
this day never be fixed. The question asked by many people still remains the same; was the Iran Iraq
war necessary? The war was arguably the longest and most conventional war in the twentieth century.
Before shots were ever fired the two countries had their dislikes in the past. For starters, Iran as well
as Iraq both wanted to claim the Shatt Al Arab River which was jointly located in between the pair.
The Ottoman Empire claimed both sides although the Persian side was not ruled by the Ottomans.
Based on the strength of this, Iraq claimed the east bank (Iranian side) of the river, a critical piece of
property, since the Shatt al Arab is its only outlet to the Persian Gulf. Iraq agreed to the share Shatt al
Arab with Iran in a treaty in 1975, which Saddam Hussein claimed was not true in 1980, just before
the war commenced. Iraq also claimed many of the disputed islands in the Persian Gulf. Saddam
Hussein was to be unwilling to change his mind, lacked military training, was a careless planner,
overestimated his troops, and executed generals who retreated.
Iran s government change is noted to be one of the most striking changes in history. Before leader

Integration Of Theory And Practice Essay
Integration of Theory and Practice: My metaphor the Niuean lili will outline and demonstrate how I
integrated theory into practice, which is shown within the weaving context of the lili. The lili consists
of weaving two different components that incorporate biculturalism. The two different components
that support each other within the weaving process as to produce an art form. During my practicum
this is demonstrated with the support from my supervisor and Faleola mental health services. An
outline of how I have incorporated this while working with clients, families and the team of Faleola
mental health services. The guiding principles of my theoretical framework are based on these four
principles that consist of learning, inspiration, leadership and integrity. The learning aspect in relation
to my practicum has been with education towards the clinical language, which is used on a daily basis
with regards to the service that is provided. The clinical language is with relation to the medications
that are administered to the clients and with case notes that have to be descriptive and detailed with
factual information. This is evident with regards the clients action plan towards recovery and
wellbeing. The services provided include the cultural aspect of the client, the language, the cultural
protocols, which assists with the education of family and friends regarding the clients treatment.

Materials Engineering Of Photovoltaic Cells
Materials Engineering in Photovoltaic cells
In today s world when we think about energy sources, there are 2 classifications they can be split into:
renewable and non renewable sources of energy. Fossil fuels are the backbone for most of the energy
we use today. We need this fuel for almost all of our daily routine, from lighting a fire to running
heavy machinery, but with increase in population there has been an increasing demand of such energy.
Fuels like these tend to give massive amount of energy but also affect the environment by producing
harmful gases and residue. With the depletion of the fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum we needed
to switch to alternate form of energy which and there has been an ever greater need for a cleaner and
renewable form of energy. Humans have tried to find many alternative (and renewable) forms of
energy such as wind and water but not at a very large scale. With an abundance of solar energy
available to harvest, it is one of the most widely cultivated renewable forms of energy.
Solar cells or photovoltaic are the primary devices that are able to harvest the sun s energy in a form
that can be used every day. Semiconductors are one of the more widely used materials in the solar
cells industry; however other materials such as organic photovoltaic, solution processed solar cells and
dye sensitized solar cells are also used in the market. To understand the basic principle behind the
working of a solar cell, we have to look down into the

Persuasive Essay On Rosa Parks
Civil rights abolitionist , Rosa Parks states, Racism is still with us. But it is up to us to prepare our
children for what they have to meet, and, hopefully we shall overcome. (Parks) Parks knew in order to
get segregation to end she stayed seated instead of getting up for a white person to sit down. Rosa
Parks s involvement in civil disobedience was due to personal influences, she chose to participate in
civil disobedience to protest the right to sit where she wanted , and she achieved success using this
controversial method of standing up for what she strongly believes to be right. The definition of Civil
disobedience is when someone is standing up for what they believe in, even if it is against the law (
Glossary ). The purpose of Civil Disobedience is changing the all of the immoral laws and protecting
our liberties and rights ( Starr ).
Personal life To understand Park s role in civil disobedience, one must first have awareness, of her
personal life.Rosa was born February 4, 1913 in Tuskegee,Alabama her maiden name is Rosa Louise
McCauley ( Parks ). Rosa s parents name is James McCauley and Leona McCauley, her brother s
name is Sylvester McCauley a little after Sylvester was born James and Leona got a divorce .Rosa left
school when she was only 16 she went to go take care of her grandmother because she was so sick she
was about to die ( history ). Rosa started school at age 11 at Industrial school for girls ( Parks ). Rosa

Violance in Schools Causes Deviant Behavior
Violence among our youth has spread widely throughout the nation. This can be linked to several
problems in our society, but mainly one. The constant barrage of television and media violence causes
deviant behavior in children. When children are young they are very impressionable by the things
around them. Often kids are influenced by what they see. If kids are watching shows or being
introduced to violent acts they too will tend to act out this violence (Huesmann and Eron, 1986). The
results of studies on the effects of televised violence are consistent. By watching aggression, children
learn how to be aggressive in new ways and they also draw conclusions about whether being
aggressive to others will bring them rewards (Huesmann and ... Show more content on

Today the data linking violence in the media to violence in society is superior to that linking cancer
and tobacco. The American Psychological Association (APA), the American Medical Association
(AMA), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Surgeon General, and the Attorney General
have all concluded there is a problem with media and T.V. violence.
Violence has become more and more prevalent in today s society. We see it in the streets, back alleys,
schools, and even at home. Homes, in particular, are a major source of violence. A television set has
become common to the living room of most family homes. This outlet for violence often goes
unnoticed. Children who view television are often pulled into the realistic, yet a devastating world of
violence. Much research has gone into showing why children are so mesmerized by this big glowing
box and the action that takes place within it. Research shows that it is definitely a major source of
violent behavior in children (Howe 55). The research proves time and time again that aggression and
television viewing do go hand in hand. The truth about television violence and children has been
shown.
Some are trying to fight this problem. There are numerous advocate groups lobbing for television and
media sensor ship. The National Cable Association is one industry groups studying the trends violent

How People Give Up Rights When Using an Airline
Many people modern day use airlines as a form of transportation. To be able to use this service
passengers must have their bags and personal belongings checked by the airline. Airlines do this for
the safety of their passengers and to ensure that no catastrophe happens during flight. But when this is
done are passengers giving up their rights? Is it right for someone to go through your personal
belongings? Or is this procedure only for security reasons? What rights do airplane passengers give up
by allowing themselves to be checked before boarding?

(Word Count=1650)
Liraglutide is a new drug for weight management presently in clinical trial. Explain the proposed
mechanism of the drug and briefly report the outcome of the clinical trials.
Introduction
Liraglutide is a glucagon like peptide 1 receptor agonist (GLP 1), which is synonymous with the
naturally occurring human peptide GLP 1 produced in the colon and solitary tract of the brain (Baggio
and Drucker, 2007). The drug was developed recently for weight management and the treatment of
diabetes mellitus type 2 (DM2) and has clinically been shown to promote weight loss. As rates of
obesity and DM2 increase for both adults and children in Australia halting and reversing this
increasing trend has become a national and worldwide health priority (Australia s health 2012, 2012).
This essay will illustrate how the drug Liraglutide can aid in reversing this trend and promote weight
loss.
Background
The drug Liraglutide is seen on the market as two different medications, Victoza and Saxenda.
Initially the drug was approved only for treatment of DM2 back in 2009, but recently was approved
for treatment of obesity as well. The common but different forms differ slightly in their composition
and so are used for different purposes, Victoza for diabetes and Saxenda for weight loss. The drug is
recommend to be used as an adjunct to diet and exercise in the treatment of individuals with a BMI
higher than 27 and for those with DM2 to achieve

Slavery, Racism, And Slavery Essay
Slavery began before racism in North America. To prove this I will provide an analysis of
chronological events that displayed acts of slavery and racism. With that being said, Initially I will be
delving into the earliest implementations of slavery in North America. That being Jamestown Virginia
1619. Secondly, analysing an extract from 1655, where an African man named Anthony Johnson
claimed to own another black individual, John Casor as his property. Subsequently, moving onto
Winthrop D Jordan s essay, The Mutual Causation of Racism and Slavery which will divulge the first
instances of racism to occur in North America. Furthermore, touching on an article regarding
legislators in Maryland, displaying one of the first laws enacted in North America, which were racist
in nature. In contrast, expanding on a court document that was approved by white legislators showing
that black individuals were allowed to own and bequeath property in the late seventeenth century.
Penultimately, delving into the early eighteenth century where racism began to engulf North America.
Lastly, summarizing that, due to the analysis and chronological order of the evidence presented,
slavery began before racism.
The first sign of slavery in North America began in August, of 1619. This was seen when twenty black
men were sold to residents of Jamestown, Virginia by a dutch ship. With this being the case, Edmund

Malware And Remote Access Trojan
The main topic which will be studied and analysed in this research is the malware s characteristic
behaviour; however, their features such as backdoors and Remote Access Trojan will be also
examined in order to discover mechanisms for effective detection of malware. The mechanisms should
be sufficient to detect both sophisticated such as Advanced Persistent Threats or simple malicious
activities for instance Denial of Service attacks, viruses etc. Prior to this, the researcher will need to
answer the questions what advanced persistent threats are and how they are different to traditional
malwares. Moreover, features and characteristic of both known traditional threads and APTs will
learned during literature review and while performing own experiment. Subsequently, the researcher
will design his own lab environment to perform further analysis. Then, all obtained data will be used
to create effective methods of advanced persistent and traditional threats detection in a network.
Moreover, the detection mechanism will not generated generate a large number of false positives, thus
non malicious normal activities indicated as suspicious.
1.2 Traditional malware characteristic
Malicious software often known as malware is simply code that includes either virus, Trojan or

Taking a Look at Eleanor Roosevelt
Eleanor Roosevelt is one of the most famous First Ladies in history. Although she was awkward and
shy as a child, she married Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and became an influential figure to the world
as well as an inspiration to women everywhere in her own right. Eleanor was more than a president s
wife; she was an eloquent speaker, delegate of the United Nations, and overall an independent woman.
Anna Eleanor Roosevelt was born on October 11, 1884 in New York City. She grew up with a wealthy
family in the Manhattan boroughs. She was the sister of two younger brothers: Elliott Jr. and Hall. Her
parents, Elliott and Ann, were socialites at the top of New York s society. Although her parents were
wealthy, it did not buy them their happiness. Before Eleanor was five, her father broke his ankle while
doing somersaults for the county circus. To reduce the pain of his injury, Elliott began drinking more
heavily. Because of Elliott s moodiness and depression, he set out to find a cure for himself. This
separated him from all of his children, including Eleanor. Without Eleanor s father with her, she
became discouraged. Her only wish was to make her father happy. Not only was Eleanor upset over
Elliott leaving; Anna was as well. Anna was furious with his decisions and started to neglect her
children. Eleanor s education was disregarded, so her mother hired her a tutor. While this was
occurring, Anna was diagnosed with an unknown illness. A few weeks after Ann had surgery, she died

Mercyhurst University North East Campus
Author Note
This paper was prepared for English 120 Writing and Research, taught by Mrs. Matz.
Abstract There is a growing need for treatment of gangliosidoses, or the increase in lipid storage in
cells. Diseases such as Tay Sach s, Sandhoff disease, Alzheimer s and HIV are at the forefront of
research into how these cells affect different aspects of the body. Gangliosides, the cells that store
lipids, are often found in neural tissue. This is the basis for research into these diseases and possible
treatment. This review examines the causes of such ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
What Are the Root Causes of Gangliosidosis? Gangliosidosis is defined as monosialic gangliosides
found in the outer edge of plasma membranes and intracellular membranes. Gangliosides are involved
in the development, differentiation, and function of the nervous system (Ohmi et al, 2011). The lack of
gangliosides can result in defects in nervous tissues and neurodegeneration. The two major types of
gangliosides are GM1 and GM2. These are the focus in the studies presented. According to B. Bisel,
B. S. Pavone, and M. Calamai, (2014) GM1 in membrane raft domains has been shown to influence
the functions of lipid raft associated proteins. (p. 88) GM1 gangliosides also aid in the formation of
cell cell junctions which help with cell adhesion, migration, and the invasion of cancers cells in
metastasis. Accumulation of gangliosides can be detrimental to lysosomal storage and can be caused
by defects in the catabolic pathway. Overabundances of GM1 gangliosides are predominantly
associated with Alzheimer s disease, whereas depletion is associated with Parkinson s disease and
Huntington s disease. Hydrolysis of GM2 ganglioside is catalyzed in lysosomes by β hexosaminidase
A (HEXA) and a non enzymic factor, GM2 activator (GM2A), is essentially required in the catabolic
reaction in vivo.

Analysis Of Frederick Jackson s Turner Frontier Thesis
After the Civil War, America experienced a vast change with the influx of foreigners. Many believed
that America was filled with multiple opportunities that could transform their lives. However, due to
mass immigration many were forced to face injustices, overcrowding, as well as questioning their
identity. Riis and Turner were both concerned with the influx of immigrants and how the increase of
people affected the American land. In Frederick Jackson s Turner frontier thesis, he describes how
important the frontier is to the development of America and how it allowed many to obtain a new life.
He describes how Americans have managed to transform the wilderness little by little and making this
new land their home, Little by little he transforms the wilderness, but the outcome is not the old
Europe, not simply the development of Germanic germs...The fact is that here is a new product that is
American . The frontier thesis is also used to describe the individuality of America and prove that it is
an independent country that no longer has ties with other nations as well as making it clear that
America is unique in its own way. Westward expansion offered many the opportunity to re identify
themselves and create a nation that offered a new form of American life.
The Frontier thesis emphasizes that Americans are now free from European powers by stating that, In
another way the advance of the frontier decreased our dependence on England . Americans were now
using their skills and

Sustainable growth rates: 2013 2016
The maximum growth rate that an organization is able to sustain without needing external financing
defines the term sustainable growth rate (investopedia.com, 2016). In this view, the measurement of
return on equity assumes that a firm s focus on maintaining a set capital framework pertaining to debt
and equity. Further, there is an assumption that the firm seeks to increase revenues within its threshold,
while maintaining a constant dividend payout ratio. The SGR provides an account of the frequency at
which a firm attains growth with its own equity, without need for outside financing, and maintaining a

The Democratization Of South Korea
Kyle Borgman
Professor Porter
Global Democracy
1 December 2014
The Democratization of South Korea Long before the hustle and bustle of the big city, ages afore the
creation of one of the world s largest standing militaries, the Republic of South Korea was one of the
farthest governments from a democracy. Following the Japanese occupation of World War Two, the
South Korean government went through many different forms of authority. According to Jung Hae Gu,
professor of Social Sciences at the University of Sung Kong Hoe in Korea, and Kim Ho Ki, professor
of Sociology at Yonsie University in Korea, the Republic of Korea has so far went through a total of 6
different regime changes since the liberation from Japanese occupation (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). The shifts in
government occurred under various regimes, Rhee Syng Man, Park Chung Hee, Chun Doo Hwan, and
the June Uprising of 1987 (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). But the lead up to the democratization of South Korea has
a more fluid past though, one of hardship and struggle, fluctuation between authoritarian regimes and
military run governments. The pressures that caused the governments to change play a very vital role
though too, they are the forces that shape the government and the ruling nature. The current ruling
democracy was forged by the previous governments and deserves to be examined and discussed
because they are obliviously the ones in charge right now. And lastly, the current military state of
South Korea is to be reviewed. The

The Importance Of An Official Language
America does not have an official language and it does not need one. In his article Why the U.S.
Needs an Official Language, Mauro Mujica provides the pros and cons to having an official language.
The problem with having an official language is greater than the savings that would result from
requiring official documents to be only in one language. Establishing English as the official language
presents a moral issue that contradicts American beliefs and values. An English only culture conflicts
with the notion of a free country based on the guarantee of freedom of speech, the value of diversity
rooted in the idea that America is an nation of immigrants, and would in the end divide rather than
bring together the nation. Although some believe that having an official language would benefit the
U.S. economically, this would actually cause distress to immigrants. Mauro Mujica lists the cost of
multilingualism, and states that for instance, Los Angeles county spends $3.3 million to print election
ballots in seven languages, Medicare or Medicaid must pay $500 dollars per translator, and says
workers that speak little English cost cities and states a large amount in misunderstandings
(Mujica,174 175). However, the analysis of cost overlooks the value of translators. For example, In
one of my classes yesterday a student had a seizure and only the students that spoke his language were
able to assist. When the seizure began no one around him could communicate with him.

the wealthy market. This new show runs alongside The Big 5 and will focus on interior fit out
products. That means it will cover everything from bathrooms and kitchens, to the individual products
and materials that are necessary to create original interior designs and fit outs.
The other reasons for choosing The Big 5 Kuwait International Fair is that, the country has a large,
modern, exhibition facility readymade to host exhibitions of all sizes, as well as present conference
events. Kuwait s economy too has a significant influence. The country has the highest budget surplus
as a percentage of GDP of any Gulf state at 25 percent and this budget is earmarked for spending on
housing, infrastructure and healthcare. This creates huge opportunities for exhibitions and conferences
that address these subjects (Mellor, 2015).
But our experience is telling us there is a huge demand and enthusiasm from local businesses.

Distributed Database Vs Centralized Database
Distributed Database vs Centralized Database centralized database: In a centralized database, all the
data of an organization is stored in a single place such as a mainframe computer or a server. Users in
remote locations access the data through the Wide Area Network (WAN) using the application
programs provided to access the data. In a centralized database, all data of an organization are kept in
a single computer as a central processor or server. Users in remote locations access data by using
WAN by application software provided to access data. The centralized database (the central processor

But since all data resides in a single location it easier to maintain and support data. In addition, it is
easier to maintain the integrity of data, because once the data is stored in a centralized database, out of

Christian College Freshmen Should Make Time For A Daily Bible
College can be a very difficult adjustment for freshman to make, especially for freshmen that are
believers in Christ. While the struggles and evils of the world bare down on them, students need a
source of fulfillment and safety. That can be found within a daily study of the bible. Christian college
freshmen should make time for a daily bible study so that they may grow closer with the Lord, get
help and guidance for life, and reach a deeper understanding of what the bible says so they can defend
against attacks. A daily bible study plays a major part for college freshman to grow closer to Christ.
God set the bible as the main source for revealing Himself. The bible is His love letter to all humans,
and by reading and studying it every day, they can start to truly understand God s great character and
His great love. God s character is revealed within the bible s pages; it tells of His great majesty and
grandeur. If students do not dive into the word, they will miss how holy and perfect He is. Christ s
ultimate sacrifice is also explained multiple times in the bible. He demonstrated His great love for us
by dying on a cross, defeating sin, and rising from the grave. He did all of this to save His creation, so
they may come live with Him. Christians who do not study the bible can take His sacrifice for granted
so easily. Freshmen must understand what Christ did for them and know how great their Lord is.
Students can grow closer to Christ through prayer as well. God has given

Usually, chlamydia has no symptoms. Up to 85 percent of women and 40 percent of men with
chlamydia have no symptoms. Most people are not aware that they have the infection. When
symptoms do occur, they may begin in as little as 5 10 days after infection.
Chlamydia affects men and women differently. Some common symptoms that men experience may be
mild burning while urination and, in some men, the symptoms might disappear but in most cases the
infection is still there. Some other common symptoms include watery, white penile discharges, which
sometimes happen only in the morning, and can disappear. This does not mean that the infection is
gone. The other symptom is testicle pain. Chlamydia also makes men sterile. It can spread from the
urethra to the testicles. Then it can result in a condition called epididymitis. Epididymitis can cause
sterility. Chlamydia causes more than 250,000 cases of epididymitis in the U.S. every year. Another
danger of chlamydia for men is Reiter s syndrome. Reiter s syndrome causes severe arthritis, and
immobilizes many men. Of the estimated one and a half million men in the U.S. who get chlamy die

will become permanently disabled each year.

The job of a civil engineer is to fix, or build many of our modern conveniences including bridges.

Civil Engineers have many job duties because many workers depend on them. Civil engineers have a

Brief Summary And Pathological Analysis
A tooth is composed of the crown and root as shown in the diagram (Fig 2.1). The crown is the visible
part of the teeth [1]. Enamel is the protective covering over the surface of the crown with an

connective tissue fibers of the membrane located between the tooth and the tooth socket to hold the
tooth in place. A tooth is mainly composed of dentine. Dentine is a highly elastic internal structure
within the enamel and cementum with an approximate density of 2.5 g/cm^3. Pulp is the soft tissue in

Broken Windows Theory Research Paper
When a cop wants to illegally enter and search a residence he breaks the window. This gives him
probable cause to investigate and any evidence he turns up becomes miraculously legal.
The idea is that the state has a vested interest in keeping an area attractive because if it has too many
broken windows, it will attract crime. The argument has been used to shut down porn shops and strip
clubs, among other things. It s not a bad idea, but it is open to some pretty loose interpretation, and the
police will push it. Can the police, for example, stop young black or hispanic men from hanging out
on street corners because it might encourage gang attacks? It s tricky.
In short, the broken windows theory says that in a rundown area, such as one with trash, graffiti,
broken windows, etc., there will be more crime because of how it looks. This is in comparison to an
upbeat, clean neighborhood. This relates to policing because more crime may happen in rundown
neighborhoods because criminals may believe the area is cared for or patrolled because of the looks.
The crime rate may be higher. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

  • 2. Analysis Of Samuel Huntington s Article, A Genetic Fallacy Samuel Huntington s entire article is more broadly written as a genetic fallacy, by using general assumptions about the Mexican problem. Additionally he more specifically uses Ad Hominem fallacies to personally attack all Mexican immigrants character by using statements to infer that they are exceedingly fertile or have less interest in education. He narrow mindedly accuses them of being uneducated, resource using threats to our economy with out providing any real facts to back up his premises. Huntington fails to recognize our country was built by the hard work of immigrants, the damage and repercussions segregation has on their quality of education, and finally he falsely proclaims them to potentially become a threat to our nations safety. Huntington declares, America is moving in the direction of becoming a bilingual and bicultural society. (Huntington, 2000) However, our county was built off of immigration. We have always been a multi cultural country from the beginning. It is ignorant of him to say that Mexicans are exclusively the reason for that. The foundation of our country was established by the persistent work of immigrants, so to associate them migrating to our country as destructive is nonsensical. To single out Mexicans as the only ethnic group that is a serious problem could be considered racially bias. Most Mexicans in our country simply don t have the same opportunities to receive the quality of education that Anglos do. Huntington states, In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Therefore, most find it somewhat challenging to acknowledge any common morals or similarities between Christianity and Islam. Through the comparative study of these two religions, one can identify such similarities and differences. Comparative religion is the examination of different religions and how they relate to one another. It is becoming a large factor in present day discourse mainly because diverse, pious groups are having closer contact both individually and collectively (McGuigan). The goal of comparative religion is to train individuals to critically think about the cultural, social, historical, and intellectual circumstances within religious relationships. The tale being introduced in this literary work focuses on the primary female character, Kitty Garstin, and her husband, Walter Fane. The central focus of the story is the marriage between Garstin and Fane and how the two characters act and display their feelings towards each other. While his feelings towards her are common knowledge, her feelings toward her husband are concealed, or so she thinks. Kitty s immaturity towards her marriage, her husband s happiness, and her lover s true motives land her in a situation that she finds quite horrid. However, throughout the duration of the story, Kitty begins to develop in both her self and her non self . When faced with the aspect of certain death and despair in the cholera stricken Mei tan fu, the character of Kitty Garstin Fane grows in an exponential rate. • 12. The Iran Iraq War Necessary It was in 1980, a massive attack was headed Iran s way, from its neighboring Middle Eastern country Iraq. This war between the two bordering countries was nothing less than a deadly fight that did not benefit either side more than the other. Costing hundreds of thousands of lives and damages that to this day never be fixed. The question asked by many people still remains the same; was the Iran Iraq war necessary? The war was arguably the longest and most conventional war in the twentieth century. Before shots were ever fired the two countries had their dislikes in the past. For starters, Iran as well as Iraq both wanted to claim the Shatt Al Arab River which was jointly located in between the pair. The Ottoman Empire claimed both sides although the Persian side was not ruled by the Ottomans. Based on the strength of this, Iraq claimed the east bank (Iranian side) of the river, a critical piece of property, since the Shatt al Arab is its only outlet to the Persian Gulf. Integration Of Theory And Practice Essay Integration of Theory and Practice: My metaphor the Niuean lili will outline and demonstrate how I integrated theory into practice, which is shown within the weaving context of the lili. Materials Engineering Of Photovoltaic Cells Materials Engineering in Photovoltaic cells In today s world when we think about energy sources, there are 2 classifications they can be split into: renewable and non renewable sources of energy. Fossil fuels are the backbone for most of the energy we use today. We need this fuel for almost all of our daily routine, from lighting a fire to running heavy machinery, but with increase in population there has been an increasing demand of such energy. Fuels like these tend to give massive amount of energy but also affect the environment by producing harmful gases and residue. With the depletion of the fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum we needed to switch to alternate form of energy which and there has been an ever greater need for a cleaner and renewable form of energy. Humans have tried to find many alternative (and renewable) forms of energy such as wind and water but not at a very large scale. With an abundance of solar energy available to harvest, it is one of the most widely cultivated renewable forms of energy. Solar cells or photovoltaic are the primary devices that are able to harvest the sun s energy in a form that can be used every day. Semiconductors are one of the more widely used materials in the solar cells industry; however other materials such as organic photovoltaic, solution processed solar cells and dye sensitized solar cells are also used in the market. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What Are the Root Causes of Gangliosidosis? Gangliosidosis is defined as monosialic gangliosides found in the outer edge of plasma membranes and intracellular membranes. Gangliosides are involved in the development, differentiation, and function of the nervous system (Ohmi et al, 2011). The lack of gangliosides can result in defects in nervous tissues and neurodegeneration. The two major types of gangliosides are GM1 and GM2. These are the focus in the studies presented. According to B. Bisel, B. S. Pavone, and M. Calamai, (2014) GM1 in membrane raft domains has been shown to influence the functions of lipid raft associated proteins. (p. 88) GM1 gangliosides also aid in the formation of cell cell junctions which help with cell adhesion, migration, and the invasion of cancers cells in metastasis. Accumulation of gangliosides can be detrimental to lysosomal storage and can be caused by defects in the catabolic pathway. Overabundances of GM1 gangliosides are predominantly associated with Alzheimer s disease, whereas depletion is associated with Parkinson s disease and Huntington s disease. Hydrolysis of GM2 ganglioside is catalyzed in lysosomes by β hexosaminidase A (HEXA) and a non enzymic factor, GM2 activator (GM2A), is essentially required in the catabolic reaction in vivo. ... The Democratization Of South Korea Kyle Borgman Professor Porter Global Democracy 1 December 2014 The Democratization of South Korea Long before the hustle and bustle of the big city, ages afore the creation of one of the world s largest standing militaries, the Republic of South Korea was one of the farthest governments from a democracy. Following the Japanese occupation of World War Two, the South Korean government went through many different forms of authority. According to Jung Hae Gu, professor of Social Sciences at the University of Sung Kong Hoe in Korea, and Kim Ho Ki, professor of Sociology at Yonsie University in Korea, the Republic of Korea has so far went through a total of 6 different regime changes since the liberation from Japanese occupation (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). The shifts in government occurred under various regimes, Rhee Syng Man, Park Chung Hee, Chun Doo Hwan, and the June Uprising of 1987 (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). But the lead up to the democratization of South Korea has a more fluid past though, one of hardship and struggle, fluctuation between authoritarian regimes and military run governments. The pressures that caused the governments to change play a very vital role though too, they are the forces that shape the government and the ruling nature. In his article Why the U.S. Needs an Official Language, Mauro Mujica provides the pros and cons to having an official language. The problem with having an official language is greater than the savings that would result from requiring official documents to be only in one language. Establishing English as the official language presents a moral issue that contradicts American beliefs and values. An English only culture conflicts with the notion of a free country based on the guarantee of freedom of speech, the value of diversity rooted in the idea that America is an nation of immigrants, and would in the end divide rather than bring together the nation. Although some believe that having an official language would benefit the U.S. economically, this would actually cause distress to immigrants. Mauro Mujica lists the cost of multilingualism, and states that for instance, Los Angeles county spends $3.3 million to print election ballots in seven languages, Medicare or Medicaid must pay $500 dollars per translator, and says workers that speak little English cost cities and states a large amount in misunderstandings (Mujica,174 175). However, the analysis of cost overlooks the value of translators. For example, In one of my classes yesterday a student had a seizure and only the students that spoke his language were able to assist. • 39. Brief Summary And Pathological Analysis A tooth is composed of the crown and root as shown in the diagram (Fig 2.1). The crown is the visible part of the teeth [1]. Enamel is the protective covering over the surface of the crown with an approximate density of 2.9 g/cm^3. Cementum is the covering of the root that attaches the tooth to the connective tissue fibers of the membrane located between the tooth and the tooth socket to hold the tooth in place. A tooth is mainly composed of dentine. Dentine is a highly elastic internal structure within the enamel and cementum with an approximate density of 2.5 g/cm^3. Pulp is the soft tissue in the central area of the dentine that hosts blood vessels and nerves. It is important to note that enamel, dentine, and cementum are calcified. This gives him probable cause to investigate and any evidence he turns up becomes miraculously legal. The idea is that the state has a vested interest in keeping an area attractive because if it has too many broken windows, it will attract crime. The argument has been used to shut down porn shops and strip clubs, among other things. It s not a bad idea, but it is open to some pretty loose interpretation, and the police will push it. Can the police, for example, stop young black or hispanic men from hanging out on street corners because it might encourage gang attacks? It s tricky. In short, the broken windows theory says that in a rundown area, such as one with trash, graffiti, broken windows, etc., there will be more crime because of how it looks. This is in comparison to an upbeat, clean neighborhood. This relates to policing because more crime may happen in rundown neighborhoods because criminals may believe the area is cared for or patrolled because of the looks. The crime rate may be higher. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
