cabins. The food, which was issued once a week, was generally coarse and lacking
in variety. The usual allocation was a peck of corn and three of four pounds of
bacon or salt pork. They were also given milk, potatoes, peas and beans, molasses,

family. Most slaves supplemented this meager fare by trapping coons and

In For That He Looked Not upon Her, George Gascoigne uses several literary
devices to bring his poem together in a way that makes the point of it clear. He also
uses these devices to show the deeper meaning behind his words. Of many, three of
the devices used prominently throughout his work is form, diction, and imagery. All
pulled together the author is able to clearly portray a betrayed tone towards the subject
of the poem. An example of the diction in his writing is use of word such as
blazing, flame, fire, and scorched. These words often have a negative connotation
as they re ones that often mean danger or something one should be cautious of or
stay away from all together. By saying the subject of the poem has blazing eyes ,
for example, Gascoigne makes it clear that this person is harmful and either will, or

I have many jobs, but one that I like in particular is dog walking. I love animals so
much, so this job doesn t seem so much like a job, as it does just something I would
do for fun on an everyday basis. I walk my neighbor s dogs all the time, and I also get
paid for doing it.
My neighbor has four dogs, and they re all extremely sweet. Even though this job is
fun, I also have to take it very serious at times. This job has taught me a lot about
responsibility, and taking control of my actions. Like for example, one time my
neighbor s dog Buddy ran away while, I was trying to get control of all the other
dogs. I started to panic as soon I thought about how mad my neighbor would be if

developed to optimize water use for agriculture crops. The system has a distributed
wireless sensor node network of soil moisture, temperature sensors and humidity
sensor placed in the soil. Energy conservation is a very critical issue in wireless
sensor networks. In this paper a TDMA based MAC protocols are used to conserve
the energy in wireless sensor networks which is used in an irrigation system. An
algorithm is developed with threshold values of moisture level, temperature of the
soil and humidity sensor that are programmed into microcontroller based gateway to
control irrigation in a field. Also two methods based on TDMA scheduling are used.
The first one is direct communication method, in which each node transmitted the
data directly to the sink node and other one is data aggregation method in which
nodes are grouped into clusters to save energy.
