This document summarizes a study on improving student behavior and discipline through increasing awareness of students' inner nature and balancing their inner and outer worlds. The study found that as teachers developed their own inner calm and centeredness, they were able to align students' energies in a positive way. It reduced undesirable student behavior and corporal punishment to zero. The study highlights the importance of nurturing students' inner nature through meditation and workshops in addition to developing their outer competencies. While limitations included lack of parent involvement, the study concluded every child has a basic good nature that teachers can help ignite to improve behavior.
