The students also spoke to their classmates and at a continuing education course to diffuse knowledge of the cultural exchange program throughout the community.

They developed friendly relations with each other and shared details about their daily lives, traditions, cultures, perceptions, ideas, lifestyle.Establishing a common point of view of the past, students explored how the Mediterranean Sea is still the bridge between different cultures and religions.
All students developed their English language vocabulary and skills. They also developed their intercultural skills, exchanged ideas, gifts and postcards and also made use of a variety of resources in order to upload powerpoint presentations, documents, files and images about their countries on twinspace.
Last but not least students familiarised themselves with working in a virtual environment, identified and discussed the challenges they face living and working in them. The most important thing is that they made new friends and they gained insights from online school collaborations which will be valuable and worth remembering a life time.

Project
The project involves primary school students aged 7-11 collaboratively writing and illustrating stories. Students will form teams to write an original story, which they will then illustrate through a series of 5-10 drawings. These drawings will be shared electronically with partner schools in other countries, who will receive the drawings and write new stories based on the illustrations. The goals of the project are to develop students' language, creative thinking, and cultural understanding through international collaboration. Over the course of 3 months, students will iteratively exchange story illustrations, develop new stories in response, and ultimately compile their work into an e-book.
Erasmus + Reports, October - January

LTSDU Italy's meeting, S. Giovanni Valdarno 5 - 11 March 2017

The project aims to promote European identity and citizenship among students through exchanging traditional stories. Over two years, students will read tales from different regions, learn about each other's cultures, and collaborate online. Summary
This eTwinning project aims to create networks of collaborative work by sharing activities with ITC or web 2.0 tools, develop in the primary classroom, in different European countries. Each teacher will share creative activities developed with their students through photographs, videos, accompanied by a brief framework for the other teachers can accomplish. Activities should preferably be shared with classes of the same grade. These activities may be of different areas of the curriculum of primary education.
Violet group e twinning project-planning
Students from five European cities - Thessaloniki, Greece; Terni, Italy; Budapest, Hungary; Võru, Estonia; and Venice, Italy - will collaborate on an eTwinning project to share information about their hometowns. Over four weeks, students will take and upload photos of their city, create a photo album with captions to profile their city, and find websites about their city. They will share their work through TwinSpace, Picasa, Google Docs, and Prezi. The goals are for students to improve ICT skills and learn more about where their partners live.
Pupils presentation comernius

The Word-Crossing project team met in September 2012 before the start of the school year. The team was formed by teachers and some members of the European Club to produce materials for a Comenius partnership project involving schools in Spain, Romania, Greece, Poland, and Turkey. The team decided to work in afternoons on creating products like logos, photos, videos, presentations, articles, and event documentation. They received lessons from teachers and experts. Two classes also worked with their Italian teachers in the mornings. Students visited other places and shared their experiences. Throughout the project, they engaged in reading activities and lessons related to writing and participated in group work and creating illustrations for an e-book.

October's work italian group the weather station

This presentation summarizes questionnaires collected from students, parents, and teachers regarding science literacy, teaching methods, technology usage, and learning difficulties. Questionnaires were collected from 130 students, 23 parents, and 16 teachers from ISISValdarno–SanGiovanniValdarno. The majority of respondents demonstrated awareness of scientific theories changing but had difficulty explaining scientific concepts. While most recognized the importance of technology, its effectiveness in the classroom was unclear. Common learning difficulties included foreign languages and math.

- 4. First drafts by hand The students of class 2A at ITE Severi school prepared drafts with pencil and paper first just to put down some ideas. The logos were later developed by computer or drawn and painted by hand and then transferred on a file via scanner.
- 6. In January 2017 we had our logo competition for the project. Our students prepared a series of drafts and five logos were preselected. It was a Turkish logo, portraying an atom where the electrons were covered in the flags of the different countries.
- 8. The three finalists Three logos where admitted to the contest. The contest took place on a specific facebook group where all the logos, three per country were visible and voted by groups of teachers from the partner schools. The one who totalized most likes won
- 10. All logos were indicative of a great imagination

- 14. Our three best logos were voted too and two of them had the same number of likes. So we had two winners at the same merit
- 16. A small prize for the Italian winners We gave a prize to our students. The prize was a symbolic one and it consisted in a small amount of telephone credit. The students were happy to be rewarded for work they had done with something practical and useful. This will teach them some work ethic too.
