CREATING THE PROJECT’S LOGO
• Professor Maria Rosaria Grasso made a video-lesson on how to realize a logo.
• The students appreciated the lesson and realized a logo by using different
programs such as Gimp, Lucid Press, Logo Garden. They all put a lot of
effort in it and did a great job!
Our student Filippo
Rebonati was the winner of the logo contest,
whicht took place during the Italian meeting
in January.
10. • During the meeting in Portugal, the Italian team made a presentation of its school.
• Teacher Maria Rosaria Grasso made a brief presentation about E-twinning
platform. She mentioned that the eTwinning Portal (www.etwinning.net) is the
main meeting point and workspace. The Portal presents tools, online, for teachers
to meet colleagues and partners for creating projects, sharing ideas, exchanging best
practice and start immediately collaborative work, taking advantage of the various
tools available on the eTwinning platform.
NOVEMBER
THE MEETING IN PORTUGAL
The experience in Portugal was formative and important for
our professional growth. We learnt how to use programs to
do the screencast (Snagit, Camtasia, Jing). Moreover, we
learnt how to make brouschures through a web-based
layout/design software application (Lucidepress).
The cultural visit to Porto was very interesting.

inserted in the virtual classes of the platform elearning of the school as well
as in the eTwinning platform.

MAKE AN E-GUIDE ABOUT HOW TO MAKE A MOVIE

PREPARE A MOVIE ABOUT THE SCHOOL
15. It took a lot of time and effort to prepare the meeting in our school, but at the same time it was also
exciting! We had some meetings with the host families and the students in order to organize at the best the
activities. The students were busy decorating the school to give a warm welcome to their fellow friends.
Both the students and the families had the chance to live a beautiful experience and for that they thanked
the school for giving them this possibility.

THE MEETING IN SPAIN
The first step was to choose the students following the criteria that we established at the
beginning of the project.
Then, we met the families to inform them about the project, the travel and to answer their
questions. They were concerned for their children to undertake this journey by themselves due
to their young age.
The students researched about the city of Seville and realized presentations on the Italian
culture, especially on food and traditional dancing.
