TOGETHER, IN HARMONY!
ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT
We started with the promotion of the project at school level. Students and families
needed to be informed about the nature of this project to be able to consider participating in it.
For this reason, we held a meeting in English with our students of 3ºESO, our main target
level. In this meeting, we summarised again all the features, objectives and activities pertaining
to this project. We also explained the selection criteria and process (which had been designed
in September).
A lot of students were interested so we started with the selection process as soon as
possible. Marta Garrido and Sonia Gutiérrez, English teachers, were in charge of checking the
level tests and letters; Rodrigo Portero, art teacher, was in charge of organising the logo contest
and Lara Villarmea and Serafín Cabañas helped with the personal interviews.
As for the logo contest held here at IESO Harévolar, Rodrigo Portero did a first selection
of the best logos in each class. Then, the teachers in the Bilingual Program, as well as the TMT,
voted for their favourite designs. The winner was the “book”, designed by Nerea Landeta. We
presented it to the rest of the schools. The project coordinator organised a digital voting to select
the project’s logo. On 25th
October, Mihaela Florentina Deli-Iorga announced that Nerea’s logo
was the final winner.
Meanwhile, we continued with the rest of activities in the selection process, which
included the level test, the letter and the personal interviews, which where the last step and were
only made to the students who had passed the level test filter. On 25th
October, we held a
meeting with the final selection: the 8 students pertaining to the Student Management Team
(SMT) – plus 5 extra as possible substitutes. We informed them about the following tasks and
organised the groups that were going to enjoy the mobilities.
The SMT was formed by: Adrián Gómez, Nerea Landeta, Emma Mínguez, Raúl
Mircea, Alexia Preda, Marc Pilar, Ángela Rodríguez and Amaya Susilla. We decided that
Adrián, Nerea, Emma and Ángela would go to the first mobility in Romania, so they started to
work and organise the trip, arranging their paperwork and preparing the presentations that
were going to be shared in the first learning/training activity. In their EFL class, the students of
3ºESO developed a questionnaire on wellbeing to analyse our starting point and came about
with interesting results that were also included in the aforementioned presentations.
All throughout October, in the EFL class as well, the students of 3ºESO were working
on the characteristics of each of the countries participating in the project. They formed groups
and worked on the creation of posters that were to be hung to create the “Euro-classes” and
start with the dissemination process.
Between September and October, the school did great effort to promote wellbeing,
mutual respect, inclusion and tolerance, which are some of the main objectives of our project.
It is essential to mention our project “Condemios”, organised on the first week of October (3rd
– 7th
). All our levels and groups spend 2 days and 1 night in a campsite, doing physical activities
(zip-lines, hiking, playing sports) and ice-breaking activities to get to know each other better.
We mixed groups and levels so that all of them got to know new people.
TOGETHER, IN HARMONY!
OBJECTIVES ACHIEVED
• Foster students’ creativity and motivation
• Delevelop students’ IT and English communication skills
• Promote the values of wellbeing, mutual respect, inclusion and tolerance
RESULTS
• Dissemination of the project’s characteristics and objectives through meetings and the
creation of banners and posters
• Analysis of students’ wellbeing at our school through the creation and completion of a
digital questionnaire
• Creation of the Student Management Team
• Organisation of a school’s trip to “Condemios”

  • 2. TOGETHER, IN HARMONY! ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT We started with the promotion of the project at school level. Students and families needed to be informed about the nature of this project to be able to consider participating in it. For this reason, we held a meeting in English with our students of 3ºESO, our main target level. In this meeting, we summarised again all the features, objectives and activities pertaining to this project. We also explained the selection criteria and process (which had been designed in September). A lot of students were interested so we started with the selection process as soon as possible. Marta Garrido and Sonia Gutiérrez, English teachers, were in charge of checking the level tests and letters; Rodrigo Portero, art teacher, was in charge of organising the logo contest and Lara Villarmea and Serafín Cabañas helped with the personal interviews. As for the logo contest held here at IESO Harévolar, Rodrigo Portero did a first selection of the best logos in each class. Then, the teachers in the Bilingual Program, as well as the TMT, voted for their favourite designs. The winner was the “book”, designed by Nerea Landeta. We presented it to the rest of the schools. The project coordinator organised a digital voting to select the project’s logo. On 25th October, Mihaela Florentina Deli-Iorga announced that Nerea’s logo was the final winner. Meanwhile, we continued with the rest of activities in the selection process, which included the level test, the letter and the personal interviews, which where the last step and were only made to the students who had passed the level test filter. On 25th October, we held a meeting with the final selection: the 8 students pertaining to the Student Management Team (SMT) – plus 5 extra as possible substitutes. We informed them about the following tasks and organised the groups that were going to enjoy the mobilities. The SMT was formed by: Adrián Gómez, Nerea Landeta, Emma Mínguez, Raúl Mircea, Alexia Preda, Marc Pilar, Ángela Rodríguez and Amaya Susilla. We decided that Adrián, Nerea, Emma and Ángela would go to the first mobility in Romania, so they started to work and organise the trip, arranging their paperwork and preparing the presentations that were going to be shared in the first learning/training activity. In their EFL class, the students of 3ºESO developed a questionnaire on wellbeing to analyse our starting point and came about with interesting results that were also included in the aforementioned presentations. All throughout October, in the EFL class as well, the students of 3ºESO were working on the characteristics of each of the countries participating in the project. They formed groups and worked on the creation of posters that were to be hung to create the “Euro-classes” and start with the dissemination process. Between September and October, the school did great effort to promote wellbeing, mutual respect, inclusion and tolerance, which are some of the main objectives of our project. It is essential to mention our project “Condemios”, organised on the first week of October (3rd – 7th ). All our levels and groups spend 2 days and 1 night in a campsite, doing physical activities (zip-lines, hiking, playing sports) and ice-breaking activities to get to know each other better. We mixed groups and levels so that all of them got to know new people.
