Title: Hustlers Scheme
Lily Curtis
Recce/Location photos
• These first images shown is the
location of the main house which is
featured in my opening scene. I have
chosen this location as it is always
accessible to me and this house is
located In the country side which is
where I wanted the main house to be
located. Obviously when it comes to
filming object like the tire and wood
will be removed because they are not
needed for my film. Before the cobble
section it also has a gravel track which
I wanted to feature in my opening
scene. So this location has a lot of
aspects that I need for my shoot.
• This is an birds eye view shot of the location
that I am filming at.The Ellingham Drive
road is the pathway I’m using to film the
where the main character, Charlie, walks
down after leaving the house where we first
see. I'm using this road because again this
location is in the countryside so that means
the surroundings will be just be mainly a
forest setting.
Floor Plan
• Filming will start at this location
and will also be filmed down the
Ellingham Drive where the red
line goes. So the actor will be
filmed walking down this
pathway until he get to the car
at the end.
• This will be where the
filming ends,This whole
route will not be 1 shot as I
will need to do many other
angles of Charlie walking
down this route, so it will
be different shots in
between .
Key:
Where filming will take
place:
Where my character will be:
Shot number:
• Actor will have to also
walk all the way down this
pathway during filming.

Actors
• For my opening scene I will only need 1 actor. To play Charlie I have
chosen Scott Curtis to play him. I have chosen this person because I feel
he is similar to my character in terms of age and the way he behaves so
I feel this would benefit my films. Scott is also quite assessable, so I
have arranged a filming schedule with him which he has confirmed he
can do.
• Actor for the role of Charlie Green:
• Name: Scott Curtis
• Age: 46
Costumes
• I want my main actor to be dressed in smart, casual clothing. I want him dressed like this
so it gives an idea to the audience what this character is like just through certain clothing.
My character also likes to look well presented so this clothing would also be beneficial, but
because he is a younger character adding more causal clothing to his outfit shows this.
• He should wear:
Black Jeans
Plain top or shirt (preferably white)
Smart shoes, any kind
Smart, medium length coat.
• This is the only set of costume I will need as my first opening
scene only contains one main character throughout.
Props
• For my film opening I will only need a few props that will benefit my film.
• I will need fake blood to put on my character as this will help show the audience what has
happened in my opening scene and make it more realistic.
• I will also need a cigar because I feel having this prop will make my character become
portrayed as superior, which I want him to be seen as.
• To go with the cigar I will obviously need a lighter or matches to actually light it, they also
appear in a key shot so having these will help.
• A car, of any kind possibly with an expensive appearance, will be needed for my character
to eventually get into at the end of the scene.

Shot List • This is the list of camera shots that will be filmed in this order.
Shot Number Shot Type Location Description
1 Close up Outside of house location, on gravel path
(Somerley Estate)
Charlie (main character) is walking up this gravel pathway so I want a close up of his
feet walking on the gravel
2 Close up Outside of house (Somerley Estate) Another close up of Charlie’s feet walking up to the front door of the house and
actually entering it.
3 Medium shot/ establishing shot Outside of house (Somerley Estate) View of the front door closing and slowly moving away from house.
4 long shot View of house (Somerley Estate) This is a view of the house mainly for the audiences benefit to now actually see more
of the location, where this opening scene is set.
5 medium shot Outside of house (Somerley Estate) This is a shot of Charlie now leaving the house after he has just killed some people,
yet the audience may not know this as they have not actually seen it.
6 close up Outside of house (Somerley Estate) Charlie puts his hands in his pocket to get out a cigar and matches to light it.
7 Extreme close up Outside of house (Somerley Estate) Charlie actually lighting his cigar
8 Close up Outside of house (Somerley Estate) Charlie now smoking the cigar and blowing it into the camera
9 Medium shot Outside of house/ down the pathway
(Somerley Estate)
Charlie now starts to walk away from the house he still smokes cigar and adjusts coat
while walking down the path
10 close up Down the pathway (Somerley Estate) Charlie has blood on his face, so he wipes some off his face which causes him to look
at his hands.
11 close up Down the pathway (Somerley Estate) Charlie’s hands are now visible to the camera to which they have blood on them
from what he's just done in the house and from what he’s wiped off his face
12 long shot Down the pathway (Somerley Estate) View of Charlie walking down the pathway heading to his car to which he is looking
quite happy/ superior, possibly still smoking cigar etc.
13 Medium shot Down the pathway (Somerley Estate) Charlie now approaches a car to which he eventually gets in to and then the scene

I'm using this road because again this location is in the countryside so that means the surroundings will be just be mainly a forest setting.
  • 4. Floor Plan • Filming will start at this location and will also be filmed down the Ellingham Drive where the red line goes. So the actor will be filmed walking down this pathway until he get to the car at the end. • This will be where the filming ends,This whole route will not be 1 shot as I will need to do many other angles of Charlie walking down this route, so it will be different shots in between . Key: Where filming will take place: Where my character will be: Shot number: • Actor will have to also walk all the way down this pathway during filming. 9 10 11 12 13 1-8
  • 5. Actors • For my opening scene I will only need 1 actor. To play Charlie I have chosen Scott Curtis to play him. I have chosen this person because I feel he is similar to my character in terms of age and the way he behaves so I feel this would benefit my films. Scott is also quite assessable, so I have arranged a filming schedule with him which he has confirmed he can do. • Actor for the role of Charlie Green: • Name: Scott Curtis • Age: 46
  • 6. Costumes • I want my main actor to be dressed in smart, casual clothing. I want him dressed like this so it gives an idea to the audience what this character is like just through certain clothing. My character also likes to look well presented so this clothing would also be beneficial, but because he is a younger character adding more causal clothing to his outfit shows this. • He should wear: Black Jeans Plain top or shirt (preferably white) Smart shoes, any kind Smart, medium length coat. • This is the only set of costume I will need as my first opening scene only contains one main character throughout.
  • 7. Props • For my film opening I will only need a few props that will benefit my film. • I will need fake blood to put on my character as this will help show the audience what has happened in my opening scene and make it more realistic. • I will also need a cigar because I feel having this prop will make my character become portrayed as superior, which I want him to be seen as. • To go with the cigar I will obviously need a lighter or matches to actually light it, they also appear in a key shot so having these will help. • A car, of any kind possibly with an expensive appearance, will be needed for my character to eventually get into at the end of the scene.
