3. Locations
I will be taking my photos outside in urban areas located in Leeds and maybe Headingly and
Burley. The time when I take these photos will most likely be when its dark.
• Car parks/underground car parks.
• Staircases- graffiti locations.
• Alleyways.
There will be many limitations when using these locations. One is the weather, as I am doing it
outside and the weather can't be controlled, I will have to do the locations that are covered up
and won't be affected by the rain if it is bad weather when I am taking my photos. However, if the
weather is good, I won't have any problems.
Another limitation is that the distance to get to these places is quite far away as they are mainly
in the city center and not any local ones I could use, also another problem that could occur with
wanting to film in the underground car parks is that I might not be able to gain access inside the
car parks or it might be too busy for me to take photographs here.
4. Equipment
• Phone Camera
• Disposable Camera
• Video Camera
• A4 paper to design my logo
• Plain black t-shirts to get the logo printed on
5. Facilities
• For my project I will be taking the plain t-shirts and my design
I have drawn and get it printed so I will need to take it to a
professional shop. I will also be using photoshop to edit my
pictures I have taken and to create a poster to advertise. Also,
I will be using a disposable camera for some of my photos so I
will have to take that to a shop where I can get my photos
printed and uploaded onto a computer. I will also be making a
trailer to advertise my clothing and I will be editing it on
adobe premiere pro and adding some copy right free music.
6. Personnel
• My team will include one girl and one boy who will model my tops. The boy modeling will be
either my friend Jamie or Louis. Who I chose will depend on who is available at the time. The
strengths of having Louis to model for me is that he lives quite close by to me whereas Jamie
doesn’t so this might create a problem for my project. For the female model will either be
me, or my friends Hannah or Val. As I would prefer to be the one taking the photographs, I
won't be able to model but if both Hannah and Val are unavailable and will have to model
myself and ask another friend or a family member to take the pictures. The reason I would
prefer to take the pictures is because I will be able to see the background and the vibe of the
area to be certain this is where I want to be located and it would be time consuming if I was
the model and then go and look at the camera every time a picture was taken. Hannah and
Vals strengths are they are both photogenic and know how to pose and not camera shy. The
weakness Hannah has is that she doesn’t live local whereas Val does. There won't be any cost
implications for Val and Louis as we all live in Leeds and can get dropped to wherever we
need to be by one of my family members whereas Hannah and Jamie would have to get a
train into Leeds center which if they do not want to pay it, I will pay it for them.
8. Shot List
• Shot of scenery
• Close up of shirts-being worn by models
• Close up of shirts on a coat hanger
• Zoomed into the logo on shirt
• Model walking with shirt on
• Model walking up stairs
9. Layout Plans
I decided on the top logo with the outline of
white as I feel it separates the blue from the
black and doesn’t blend in as much and makes
the blue stand out much more. I also just liked
the white border around the letters more than
the one without.
This is the exact font I will be using
for my final design of the clothing
brand logo.
This is the photograph that
inspired me to get my pictures in
the locations I chose.
I chose to have the writing in a vibrant blue colour as I knew
that it is a versatile colour and just would just look bold when
it is placed onto the black shirt. This is also the colour that I
visioned in my head when I first started planning my clothing
line and was just the colour I originally wanted to start with.
I chose to do the black top instead
of white as if I did white, I just
personally think it wouldn’t look as
good compared to the black.
10. Props/Costume/etc
• Costume for the male model
• Short sleeved shirt that I have designed will be
supplied to him, dark blue straight leg jeans,
black trainers and black jacket.
• Props: coat hanger- to hang up on a tennis
court as a preview for the trailer.
11. Costume for the female model
• Long sleeved shirt that I have designed that I
will supply to her, black and white zebra flares,
white trainers.
12. Script for trailer
• Starts off with a scenery shot of a tennis court and the title of my brand in the middle of the screen.
• Fast paced clips of the two models wearing the shirt-switching between the male and female.
• Close up shots-zooming into the brand- male model
• Male model walking with the shirt on
• Close up shot of the female model wearing the shirt-zooming in on the brand
• Shot of a train moving
• Scenery shots
• Videos of model off guard
• Shot of the female model through a bike mirror
• More shots on the female in the car park
• End shot- shirt hung up on a tennis court
• Title of the brand comes up again.

15. locations
This is the first place that we went to when we took photos
for my project.
We arrived at Leeds bus station at 5:40 and as the car park
is right next to the bus station it took us only a few
minutes to get there.
This is one of the locations inside
the car park, (the stairs to get to
the different levels of the car
parks).
Arrived here at 5:53
My choice of locations will always
be available for me to use as they
are open spaces free for the public
to use.
These 2 pictures was taken at York college in the
underground car park, one is a picture of a
motorbike, and one is of a wall near the car park
which I will use to hang my clothing off so I can get a
close up shot of the product.
Arrived
here at
13:55.
The places I have picked for filming could potentially be dangerous as
I have chosen locations in car parks where many cars will be driving
around so me or my crew could get hit by one and the stairs as
someone could trip and fall them which both could lead to serious
injuries.

19. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Filming in the car park and on the stairs-
someone could get hit by a car or fall down the
stairs.
I will make sure that when in the car park I am
filming when there is no cars coming.
When I am filming on the stairs, I need to make
sure that if there is anything that could lead to
being tripped up it is out of the way, so this
doesn’t happen.
Valuable items could lead to getting
mugged and worst-case scenario someone
getting hurt because of this.
When the camera equipment isn't being used, I
will make sure it isn't just lying around and it is
packed away safely in the bag it belongs in.
Editor's Notes
You need to identify locations and plan a recce.
What are the limitations and risks, eg distance, access, cost, weather? How will you manage this?
What do you need? E.g. equipment, resources? Mostly from college, but who do you need to speak to get this kit? What is available? When?
Look at equipment hire places, etc
Where will you edit your video? Do you need any other specialist facilities…? Software?
CREW: What is you team? Who is in it? What are each team members strengths/weaknesses? When are they available?
CAST: Do you need any external performers? When are they available? Cost implications? Will you have to feed them? Transport them?
Other personnel? Is anyone else helping you?
Add rationales for creative choices. Use images and descriptions. One slide per character/outfit.
Black out all contact details as this will be going online, but you will still need to collect these.
If under 16 a parent must confirm this. One agreement per model/actor
