Impact of Legalising Live in relationship in India:
Socio legal perspective of Child s Status
Overview:
In India, as per the ancient and historical culture, tradition, customs and practices, marriages are
considered to be made in heaven and celebrated on earth. Marriage is a sacred or contractual
relationship in India. Marriages are treated as highest form of social relationship. As to its legal
consequences, both the persons are entitled to cohabit and legitimacy to the children born out of that
legal wedlock automatically makes them their legal heir. The wife and children are entitled to be
maintained during and after the dissolution of marriage. To avoid these obligations and to enjoy the
benefit of living together, the concept of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Those typical responsibilities of a married couple does not thrust on the individuals living together in
this kind of relationships. The basic foundation of live in relationship itself is individual freedom.
Unfortunately, no specific law has been recognized to deal with a live in relationship in India. No
legislation has been formulated to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the relationships
and the status of children born to such couples when it is proved as bigamy of male in the relationship.
A live in relationship is not recognized by Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 or any other current statute.
Therefore this particular law does not discussion about either parties or the children born to them. The
Courts have taken the view that where a man and a woman live together as husband and wife for a
long term, the law will presume that they were legally married unless proved contrary. The Protection
of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005 provides for the protection, maintenance and right of
palimony to a live in partner, if she complains, but nowhere mentioned anything about children again.
Research Area:
If a spouse in live in relationship is married, the man could be guilty of adultery which is punishable
under section 497 of the IPC. But if the relationship is proved invalid then the children became
illegitimate and disqualified from inheritance u/s 16 of the Hindu

Classroom Space Impact On Students And The Overall...
There have been a number of studies done to show how the amount of space that is available in a
classroom can have an effect on the behavior of the students and the overall environment of the
classroom. In 2003, Duncanson found that classroom space impacts how teachers and students
behave. He found that classrooms with small amounts of space were prone to have inefficient
pathways and look cluttered. In part, it was found that this situation was caused by the large amount of
room teachers reserved for their own use and the large amount of space covered by other pieces of
furniture. The arrangement of the furniture hampered the natural flow patterns and created small open
spaces for students to work. Thus teachers more or less identified and assigned the spaces that were to
be used by students while working on an activity (Duncanson, 2003). The ideal classroom is one
where there are minimal distractions to learning, focused attention on classroom discussions and
positive learning about critical subject material. With this in mind, it is important to understand what
causes misbehavior and what can be done to limit it. Misbehavior must be taken in context however,
since one must look at the situation and instructor to determine if a particular action falls in the
misbehavior category. For example, walking around during a math lesson would be unacceptable, but
walking around in a pottery class would be expected (Burden, 1995). In one study by Tiirkniiklii
Galton (2001),

Jealousy in Shakespeare´s Othello Essay
Jealousy is a powerful emotion that can blind oneself from identifying the truth. Shakespeare heavily
emphasizes this theme throughout the drama Othello, especially through the actions of characters. In
the play the heinous antagonist, Iago, uses each character s jealousy to deceive that person and
manipulate the truth. His false promises and deceitfulness bring to the demise of many of the main
characters in the play, including the protagonist, Othello. Othello could not have been deceived if it
were not for his powerful jealousy. Therefore, Shakespeare is telling us that jealousy is an ugly trait
that can hide the truth, which in turn causes many problems between characters in the play.
The play opens with Roderigo and Iago standing in a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After the quarrel, Iago reveals to the reader that he intends to use the fact that Casillo and Desdemona
will be spending more time together, in order for Casillo to get his job back, to convince Othello that
she is having an affair (1220).
Othello is an easy target in this drama, because Iago already knows that he is a very insecure person.
With that stated, it will be easy for Iago to use Othello s jealousy to trick him into thinking that
Desdemona is an unfaithful wife. Iago will manipulate the way Othello sees things in order to
convince him that what he sees is innocent acts between Desdemona and Casillo. Iago s starts to plant
the idea in Othello s head of an affair after Othello sees Casillo rush leaving Desdemona in a manner
that looked as though he is guilty (1223). Alone with Othello, Iago begins to make Othello feel
threatened by Casillo and Desdemona s apparent relationship by bringing up the fact that Casillo
served as Desdemona s and Othello s go between during the time of their courtship. The conversation
ends with Iago asking Othello to watch carefully of Desdemona and Casillo, and Iago exits giving
Othello time to question the accusation of Iago (1225 1228).
Othello s insecurities are brought to surface as Othello announces, to only the audience, his thoughts.
During his speech, Othello pounders the idea that Desdemona has lost her love for him, listing many

Racism in Comedy Essay
Racism in comedy
This essay is going to discuss about racism in comedy and in addition to that it is also going to look at
whether it is acceptable for comedians to use certain racial words for example when black comedians
use the word Nigger . Also it is going to look at how different audience put up with this kind of
material, but first of all it is going to look at the actual word itself and where in the blue marble that
we call earth it originated from.
Make no mistake that slave owners came up with the word Nigger and it was only supposed to mean
an individual, who is lazy, unwise, and good for nothing, but somewhere along the history lines of
slavery the N word began to be used more as racial insult against the non white Americans ... Show

Even in today s movies black actors still portrays that stereo type of not being smart enough to make
decision of not dying first or and they are always in prison for robbing someone .
Just like how modern day comedians like Dave Chappelle and Martin Lawrence poke fun at their
government, as mentioned above that the slaves used to poke fun at their masters, but the real
catastrophe still lies in the facts that there are a few examples of actual slave humour because the
really good material was only said amongst the slaves to begin with and of course; it was never
documented. On the other hand this has far came to change as time pass by getting into the early
nineteenth century The Blackface Minstrel era were by minstrel music also known as plantation songs
came into the scene. This form of music was written by black and white song writers, and white men
would dress up and paint their faces black with coal and then start imitating blacks performing these
songs. In the later years the black entertainers also started to do the same thing by blacking out as
whites playing blacks. It seemed like its purpose was to only reinforce ugly racial stereo types.
Despite the racial attacks towards each other the minstrel shows was a blend of nock about comedy,

The And Of The Czech Republic
Introduction
Bury carbon dioxide 100 miles into the Earth and heat it to about 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit. Then
place it under the pressure of 725,000 pounds per square inch and quickly rush towards the earth s
surface to cool. What would that result in? A diamond (Bain Company, 2011 p.3). Otherwise known as
the quintessential token of love and promise. Diamond consumption, particularly diamonds as
engagement rings, is much higher in the United States in comparison to the Czech Republic, due
primarily to better brand development, which we can see in the synonymous nature of diamonds
equating to love, and a stronger, more developed consumerist mentality.
History The word diamond comes from the Greek word adamas meaning adamant or unbreakable. As
mentioned before, the diamond crystals form deep within the mantle of the earth at intense pressures
and temperatures, and then are blasted towards the surface in the course of violent eruptions, which
can be referenced in figure 1. The tradition of giving a ring to the woman who has agreed to become
the bride dates back centuries. Anthropologists believe this tradition originated from a roman custom
indicating their husbands ownership (americangemsociety.org). Worn on the left hand on the finger
nearest to the pinky, it was believed that there lay a vein, the vena amoris, that lead to the heart. This
idea of the vein was popularized by Henry Swinburne in A Treatise of Spousals in 1686
(wikipedia.org). Yet, diamond

Summary Of The Tipping Point By Malcolm Gladwell
Inside The Evidence On The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell discuss different concepts that
explain the sudden spread of a product or idea. Gladwell explains that this sudden and instantaneous
spread is very similar to an epidemic. Gladwell uses the examples of fashion trends, the success of a
book, the decrease of crime in New York City, smoking and the increase of suicide rate. To explain the
three rules of the Tipping Point, the law of the few, the stickiness factor and the power of context (29)
influence how a trend, product or action takes off as an epidemic. In the power of context Gladwell
introduces a different way of being a connector. That one person can connect to many groups (173)
and that small groups have the potential ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Gladwell presents us with many examples of real life situations when his idea of word of mouth
comes out to be true. In the majority of the examples and proves Gladwell shows in this chapter
heavily appeal to logos and ethos. Gladwell supports his argument with past historical events and also
with scientific studies. Not everyone will enjoy reading this type of approach Gladwell decided to use
for his argument. But it just simply gives more credibility to his argument. The rise of the Methodist
church is a better evidence to support one of Gladwell s main idea which is the stickiness factor rather
than using the rise to popularity of the Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood . Although, the Ya Ya
Sisterhood reached success due to the word of mouth and caused some stickiness, still not everyone is
aware of its success. There is a greater percentage of people who are part of the Methodist church and
live according to the ideology taught by its founder John Wesley (172). According to Gladwell the
Methodist movement went from 20,000 to 90,000 followers in a space of five years. Also the fact that
after centuries the Methodist church is still relevant until this day and it is a better example to prove
the idea of the stickiness factor or the word of mouth but it also gives a perspective of how long
something can stick

Causes And Treatment Of Chronic Illness
Throughout the past century the world has seen a drastic shift in not only life expectancy but in quality
of life. Medicine has become incredibly advanced and thus life expectancy rates have increased over
the years. However, it must also be recognized that there are now higher rates of chronic illness.
Chronic illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, arthritis and heart disease are the leading causes of
disability throughout the United States. As of 2012, about half of all adults 117 million people had one
or more chronic health conditions (CDC 2016). People with a chronic illness essentially have a
disease or disorder that requires a lifetime of coping. It is not uncommon for people to often become
so ill that they are unable to work. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In a study conducted by Brown, Sheffield, Leary and Robinson (2003) the researchers tested the
association between social support and levels of pain. The study tested 101 undergraduate students.
The subjects were randomly assigned to one of three groups. The groups were required to press a cold
presser that delivered a small pain and after, rate their pain on a 10 point scale. Each group was either
paired with a friend, a stranger or carried out the task alone. The study concluded that the individuals
who used the cold presser while another person was in the room, stranger or friend, reported lower
levels of pain. Evidently there is a connection between social support and pain tolerance. This
information is extremely important because chronic illness is essentially a diagnosis of lifelong pain.
If social support can improve this pain, these patients could improve their quality of life. In a study
conducted by Lopez Martinez, Esteve Zarazaga and Ramirez Maestre (2008) the effects of social
support on pain were further studied. In their study, the purpose was to test the relation between
perceived social support and the coping responses to pain in those suffering from chronic pain or
illness. The study consisted of 117 subjects recruited from a Clinical Pain Unit at a hospital in Spain.
The average subject was around 54 years old and mostly consisted of women. In order to measure the
pain within patients, the

Gender Expectations For Men
Primarily, gender expectations for men are used to show power, control, and typecast the characters as
manly. The men in the tragedy, including the serving men, are shown degrading women and using
them to look better. During the quarrel between the serving men at the beginning of the tragedy, the
rape, and murder of women, being the weaker vessels, are used to show superiority between the two
feuding families and the insignificance women play. In the conversation, the serving men, are talking
about the disputing families and what they would do the Montague maids to show that they are more
powerful. Women are also not treated as humans, they are treated as vessels or objects to be used to do
all the housework. Due to this lack of representation

Use of Light and Darkness in Joseph Conrad s Heart of Darkness
Joseph Conrad s Heart of Darkness contrasts light and darkness, to represent the civilized and
uncivilized sides of the world. Conrad uses light to represent the civilized side of humanity while
contrasting the dark with the uncivilized and savage. Throughout the thematic stages of the novel, that
is the Thames river London, the company s office in Belgium, the journey to the heart of darkness and
the conclusion, light and dark is used to represent these sides of humanity, but on a deeper level many
assumptions of darkness and light are challenged, with the appearance of light and dark, and in turn
good and evil contrasting with the reality.
From the initial ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
From the start of the novel, Conrad foreshadows Marlow journey into the heart of darkness through
the use of light and darkness. Marlow s journey to the Belgium company s office, where he encounters
two women knitting black wool. The two women are commonly interpreted of representing two of the
three fates of Ancient Greek mythology who spun, wove and cut thread to represent the birth, lifespan
and death of mortals. This darkness used perhaps foreshadows the evil he will encounter, something
that merely fate may decide. Marlow describes the place as the city that always makes me think of a
whited supulchre , and the city of the dead , thus, white in this instance is used to represent the
exploitation of the company and the true evil, which is hiding behind the façade of light and progress.
Therefore Conrad uses the civilized white to represent the evil of the dead city and the search for the
precious trickle of ivory .
The map in the company s office, and the light and darkness associated with it again demonstrates and
perhaps foreshadows the good and evil, and the civilized and uncivilized side of humanity. . He
describes the map as being marked with all the colors of a rainbow,

Billy The Bully
Billy the Bully Introduction Early on a Saturday morning I was hurrying down the street to buy a
scone for my big sister at our neighborhood bakery. It was her birthday and I wanted to do something
special for her (besides the gifts we had planned for her later in the day). It was a cloudy spring day
and rain was predicted, so I was moving pretty fast because I didn t have an umbrella. I bought the
ginger scone and on the way back home I looked across the street and saw a boy from my class
pushing another younger boy. It was Billy, who was big for his size, pushing another kid and
smacking him. I stopped for a moment to watch. How rude and unfair, I thought to myself. Billy had
always been a bit rude to me and I had seen him bullying people on the playground but he never laid a
hand on me. Just then Billy looked over and saw me watching him push the little kid around and he
yelled, What are you looking at you little nerd? That was all I needed to hear to get going back to our
house. Raindrops started falling about halfway home so I began to run. I looked back and Billy had
left the little boy and was on my side of the street and running behind me. I am not a nerd but I am a
good student and I am athletically active so I put it into another gear and left the bully well behind. He
isn t really too fat, but he is overweight and he can t run as fast as I can. Once home, I put the scone in
our bread box and went to my room to finish my math and science homework. My

Creating Robots for a Universal Purpos
There are over 8.6 million robots in the world that have been created for a universal purpose. That
purpose is to improve human life. They do this in many different ways like for example; Robots are
used in the Auto Industry to help build automobiles on assembly lines. It takes around twenty four
hours on average to build a new automobile in a factory with the help of these robots. Without the
machinery that is being used on these assembly lines it could take anywhere from three days to a week
to build one automobile. That would also affect the price of said automobile and make it harder to
purchase automobiles. Robots help improve many more functions in everyday life. The purpose of this
project is to prove that robots improve upon human life and that the robots should be used more often.
The first robot was hand built in between four hundred and three hundred fifty B.C. The inventor of
the robot was mathematician Archytas. The robot functioned as a steam powered pigeon. The robot
actually worked and at one point flew two hundred meters before it ran out of steam and landed on the
ground. The robot was not very helpful. But it at the time was a great sign of what was to come in the
future. The latest robots to be created are unrecognizable compared to this very first model.
Robots are used every day in countries across the world in assembly lines. An assembly line is a series
of workers and machines in a factory by which a succession of identical items is progressively

and other themes were touched on, but within his lyrics identity, race and class wasn t present.
However, his performance allowed those of other ethnicities to feel the way those who come from the
slums feel. It gave them perspective or an sense of being able to relate. As previously stated, I was a
huge Waka Flocka fan and that same punch line always gets, so I was able to share the same moments.

The Good Roads Bill By President Woodrow Wilson
The Good Roads Bill was signed in 1916 by President Woodrow Wilson, but this law took decades of
work by cycling activists to go from an idea to the oval office. The first mention of the poor road
quality in America came on December 30, 1894 After this mention, the Good Roads Movement starts
to spread. On May 26, 1895, the movement begins to spread to New York via political and democratic
power. In mid 1985, in a time where good roads was growing momentum noted by the Gossip of the
Cyclers column, apropos of good roads, the association of that name has since justly acquired a
greater importance than it previously enjoyed. The Good Roads movement was spreading throughout
the nation. People in Manhattan were beginning to covet Brooklyn s ... Show more content on

During this time, a New Jersey and Pennsylvania boarder town became a Good Roads Success story.
After putting $40,000 of roads in the city, a New Jersey town saw an increase in change and real estate
prices. There was significantly more crops being moved in and out of the city due to the improved
road quality. This success story became an example that the Good Roads Movement brought up
continually when fighting for legislation, and it happened as early as 1896 (6). The Good Roads
movement eventually had to get politically involved to lobby for money for roads. The cyclists started
to partner with the farmers to influence regulation around the state of New York. An employee of the
Agricultural Department of the Government said, the bicycle did more toward the cause of good roads
than all the agitators since the time of Adam. This employee was saying that cyclists were the biggest
activists for good roads since MacAdams engineered the MacAdams roads. The employee continues
to say the the government is looking to continue improving roads. Based on the two quotes here, it is
clear that cyclists in the Good Roads Movement helped persuade the government to create better roads
(8). By October, new roads, bridges, and education policies were being put into place. Cyclists worked
consistently to put in a bridge across an obstructive river in

Causes Of Economic Inequality
Income inequality is one of the largest fear mongering tactics that the left likes to use in order to
advance their ideology. The differences in income in America can be attributed to many different
factors, however much of the theories presented by the major distribution services do not reflect
reality. Economic inequality is the difference in income between individuals across the United States.
Sociologists define the social stratification of this as being the upper, middle, and lower classes. The
upper class (the 1%) household makes $380,000+, with the middle class making upwards of $150,000,
with the lower class being at the poverty level (around $25,000 for a family of 4 and around $20,000
for a family of three). There have been many solutions presented in order to tackle this subject,
however many of them have not been practical enough to get the job done. What are the root causes of
economic inequality and can it be fixed? This question has been addressed by numerous people and
usually becomes increasingly popular during presidential campaigns. This past election has brought to
light many of the disagreements and divisions between the country when it comes to dealing with
social and economic issues. Liberals believe that income inequality is due to the faults of the 1% and
that wealth should be redistributed. They believe that there are structures in place that limit the lower
and middle lower classes from rising through the ranks. Conservatives tend to approach income
inequality in a different way. They believe that inequality is one of the things that will always be
present in society. Furthermore, they believe that your income is proportional to the kind of person
you are based on your creativity, work ethic, and resources. Thomas Sowell, one of the leading
economists and prolific authors, states that demographics means you can not have income equality.
For example, Japanese Americans are more than 20 years older on average than Puerto Ricans in the
United States. A 40 year old man, for example, has more than 10 times as much job experience as a 20
year old man, if you start counting from the age of 18 as adulthood. So there was never a reason to
expect equality. So I go through many different

How Does Iago Say That Desdemona Is Evil In Othello
Shakespeare s play Othello, focuses on the real tragedies of the play which is the character Othello s
willingness to believe Iago s lies but also how Iago plays on Othello s few insecurities. Othello is
clearly not to blame for most of the tragedy as the audience sees how crafty Iago is with other
characters. He can manipulate Roderigo and Cassio so easily. It takes Iago an entire act and part of
another to convince Othello that Desdemona is unfaithful. Othello does not fall easily, but he does fall.
Othello is a good man. He sees the good in others. Iago is aware of that fact. This brings up more
important questions such as: are good people more vulnerable because they are less suspicious than
evil ones? Do we tend to judge others as we are ourselves? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

To make his plans work, Iago used psychological manipulation on his victims and used their
emotional weaknesses to his advantage. Iago s first victim was Roderigo. He manipulated Roderigo by
feasting on the emotions and desires he had for Desdemona. Iago made Roderigo believe that he could
help him get closer to Desdemona, and Roderigo, being very gullible, believed this. Iago convinced
Roderigo to start a fight with Cassio and to even sell his properties so Iago would have enough money
to travel to Cyprus. This is seen in I could never better stead thee than now. Put money in thy purse. ,
Iago said this many times to make Rodrigo believe it. This is proof that Iago s manipulation worked
when Roderigo said I ll sell all my land. Their fake friendship is ended when Iago kills Roderigo to
save himself from people knowing the

Stylistic Elements Of Surrealism
Surrealism is a cultural movement that began in the early 1920s, and is best known for its visual
artworks and writings. Officially consecrated in Paris in 1924 with the publication of the Manifesto of
Surrealism by the poet and critic André Breton (1896 1966), Surrealism became an international
intellectual and political movement. The Surrealists sought to channel the unconscious as a means to
unlock the power of the imagination. Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic
precision, creating strange creatures from everyday objects, and developed painting techniques that
allowed the unconscious to express itself. Its aim was to resolve the previously contradictory
conditions of dream and reality into an absolute reality. Surrealists work features element of surprise
and unexpected however many surrealist artists and writers regard their work as an expression of the
philosophical movement. With respect to that surrealism has many characteristics of work completed
such as Automatic Writing, the Surrealists were big on this thing called automatic writing. That s
when you write whatever comes to your mind without stopping or structuring your thoughts. You just
go with the flow, and let everything pour out onto the page unfiltered. Juxtaposition, one of the
defining stylistic characteristics of Surrealism is the juxtaposition of imagery. The Surrealists like to
put together crazy things that we wouldn t normally associate with one another. They might compare

English 101 Writing Techniques
Writing an essay in its entirety is challenging to some and to others it may not be. The key is to learn
the dos and do nots when writing an essay. Today, there is still confusion on what English writers
should say to get their point across and do it effectively without any problems. The usual English 101
writer has difficulty with 3 techniques. They include taking the most common side, the use of pat
expressions, and the use of colorless words. The first reason that many English students struggle with
is taking the most common side than the less popular side. Many students pick the most common side
because it is the easy way out . They usually do not take the less common side due to not having
anything to say on the topic or it is too challenging

The Army s Current Network Defense System
While working as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Army Materiel Command, the
command was under constant attack by hackers. The Army s current network defense system was
woefully inadequate for protecting the commands 140 locations worldwide. After sustaining a couple
of very high profile attacks using these tools, it became evident that something else was needed. One
of the command s subordinate commands was the Army Research Labs and is on one the foremost
research labs in the world. One of the labs mission was Cyber Defense and came under my preview as
it program manager. The lab had developed several cyber security tools and had been testing them
very successfully on a several platforms. The power of this tool ... Show more content on

Once we got the system user friendly and developed a training program, I was able to defer the cost of
the tools over several agencies. Once we deployed and the agencies began using it, and cut their
incidents to almost none, I was able to partner with them to secure more funding. My cost model, after
startup cost, was cheaper to deploy and maintain than commercial off the shelf software, due to the
custom code developed internally. Since I provided better and cheaper tools I was able to negotiate
maintenance contracts with them and use that funding to further develop my tools. I was also able to
politically influence agency standards when it came to cyber defense. Since the tools were developed
by the government for the government, agencies was more willing to spend more money than on
private tools because the code was more secure.
Earlier in my career, while working for the Coast Guard assigned as an intelligence officer and
program manager, I was assigned to develop an information sharing system to support the Coast
Guard Intelligence activities. In evaluating the situation, it was easy to see that the Coast Guard was
technically disadvantaged. At this time, the Coast Guard IT infrastructure consisted of a custom
designed workstation, sever and network. It was a head of its time and offered the capability of
unclassified agency wide e mail and file sharing, and in the early 90s this was far beyond other
services. The Coast Guard did not

Examples Of Rationale In An Inspector Calls
Rationale
This pieces of writing is relating to An Inspector Call , J.B Priestly s play. The Birlings were having
dinner together and talking about the marriage between Shelia and Gerald. My aim for this assignment
is to show the change of Sheila and Mrs. Birling and the inspector s impact on the family. These two
characteristics are showed in this text through what they said. There are two themes that are related to
this dialogue. The first one is class. Mrs. Birling and Sheila are living in a high quality life with a high
social standard. Some comparisons can be made between them and Eva Smith by showing the
discrimination from Sheila and Mrs. Birling to Eva Smith because of jealousy. Another theme is the
lack of social responsibility of Mrs. Birling. For instance, though she was the leader of the charity, she
treated Eva ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Sheila[smiling]: Even Gerald, he never understand what is in my mind. He never agreed my taste on

Mrs. Birling [give a glass of water to Sheila and one for herself]: As usual, increasing number of idiots
are coming and asking for money with plenty of ridiculous reasons like no opportunity for working
and no family around. Dealing with these kinds of stories is quite annoying and a waste of time.
Sheila [Surprisingly]: Poor women if those stories are true.
Mrs. Birling: Oh, my dear. I promise that after years of listening to these non scenes stories, you will
figure out a way of what is true and what is false.
Sheila [Laughing]: Yeah, I think I may need this kind of skills in the future.
Mrs. Birling: It is getting harder nowadays for charitable activities....Where did you get your shirts?

How Organisms Evolved From a Common Ancestors
One of the most important principles of biology is the main idea of evolution. This theory states, that
all living organisms have evolved from a common ancestor through natural selection acting on
hereditary variation (Reece, 2011). Many people today, know humans have evolved from a common
ancestor; but they do not recognize the importance of it. Everyone should be educated about how
organisms evolved because humans have evolved throughout many centuries. Charles Darwin had
many theories that incorporated the main principle of biology, natural selection and evolution. Darwin
explained natural selection as an evolutionary change where organisms that become more adapted to
their environment will survive better than those who do not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

While Darwin was on his voyage, the Beagle, he noticed that different organisms and things vary in
characteristics and their adaptations to different environments.
While Darwin was studying natural selection, he noticed that different species would have to compete
for survival allowing some species to have different characteristics that help them survive and produce
more offspring. These offspring traits are passed down from their parents, and it will help them
become more successful in their need for survival (College, 2009). Darwin had to prove natural
selection existed and how traits are passed down to offspring. He did this by the process of Pangenesis
(College, 2009). Pangenesis is when each organ in the body has certain particles called gemmules. The
gemmules, contain information of how each organ works; they are eventually released to the
reproductive organs (College, 2009). They are passed down to the offspring from the reproductive
organs. Today, Darwin s theory is well supported because of DNA and fossil records. Charles Darwin
spend most of his life focused on the theory of natural selection and evolution. This theory states that
all living organisms evolved from a common ancestor (Reece, 2011). Many people know

Torchy s Tacos
For the last few months, there has been a hype over a local taco joint called Torchy s Tacos located on
West McDermott in Allen. From people giving it such a positive review, I decided to give it a try. As
someone who is a lover of tacos, including breakfast tacos, I knew I would be a tough critic over
Torchy s. After I went to Torchy s twice, I decided to give it two thumbs up.
I love Mexican food, and as a native of Texas I ve had plenty of it in my sixteen years of life. Just as a
disclaimer, if you are not a fanatic of spicy foods, I would not suggest Torchy s to you. From my first
trip, I tried the queso first which contains green chile, quacamole, and diablo hot sauce, but as a lover
of fiery foods, I fairly enjoyed this. Their chips are made homemade style and the only negative thing
I would say is their chips are made too thin for their queso. The queso weighs too heavily on the chip
breaking them in half 9 out of 10 times you go in for a delicious bite. The chips themselves are
excellent, but I would suggest making them a bit thicker in order to enjoy ... Show more content on

From a ride range of tacos from The Democrat to the Dirty Sanchez , I was stumped on which to
order. I decided on the Trailer Park which contains a large piece of fried chicken, lettuce, green chiles,

take the lettuce off and add queso, which of course I did because for this experience I was going to go
all out. Once I poured the jalapeno ranch on top of my taco, the flour tortilla is too small to full wrap
up it s contents. As soon as I picked up my taco, the queso, pico de gallo, ranch sauce, and green
chiles fell out of the bottom. Alas, I would not let this go to waste so I scooped all of it up and tried
again, but using a fork instead. I was sort of bummed knowing I couldn t properly eat this taco, but I

Heisman Trophy In College Football
Around America today football is one of the most favorable sports among men. Football starts off for
the youth with pee wee and pop warner leagues. Most fathers aspire for their children to be great
athletes. It would be a dream for a father s child to be considered the greatest player in college
football. The Heisman Trophy is given to the best player in college football. This award is given to
players who show great athletic excellence along with great character. Most quarterbacks who receive
the award normally pass for about 4,000 yards. The famous running back position only needs to dial
up 20 touchdowns along with 1,500 rushing yards to be a top contender for the Heisman Trophy. Most
college football players play with a sense of integrity, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Having a lot of prior knowledge about football helps you understand the history of some things. John
David Crow is the first person that comes to mind when I think about the Heisman Trophy. Although
Crow was a native from Marion in North Louisiana, he found his way west to Springhill. Here at
Springhill High School, he dominated throughout his career setting many records and accomplishing
multiple goals. Crow and his fellow teammates also won a state championship, which was one of two
that Springhill holds in football. With a dominating high school campaign such as Crow had, there
was no doubt college coaches from all over the country was trying to sign him up at their university.
Being a smart thinker of football, he decided to go play for the legendary Paul Bear Bryant at Texas A
M. To be one of the best, you have to play for one of the best so you can get in a great system to be
successful. John David Crow s senior season at Texas A M was one that no one could ever forget. He
was superman of the team because he did almost everything. He ran the ball, caught the ball, caught
interceptions for opposing offenses, and tackled the opponents. After the season, Coach Paul Bear
Bryant stated, If John David Crow does not win the Heisman Trophy, they ought to stop giving it. ()
He was the first aggie to win it and was also the only one of Bryant s players to win it. It does not
matter where you are from, anyone can accomplish the goal of winning the Heisman Trophy with hard

  • 3. Classroom Space Impact On Students And The Overall... There have been a number of studies done to show how the amount of space that is available in a classroom can have an effect on the behavior of the students and the overall environment of the classroom. In 2003, Duncanson found that classroom space impacts how teachers and students behave. He found that classrooms with small amounts of space were prone to have inefficient pathways and look cluttered. In part, it was found that this situation was caused by the large amount of room teachers reserved for their own use and the large amount of space covered by other pieces of furniture. The arrangement of the furniture hampered the natural flow patterns and created small open spaces for students to work. Thus teachers more or less identified and assigned the spaces that were to be used by students while working on an activity (Duncanson, 2003). The ideal classroom is one where there are minimal distractions to learning, focused attention on classroom discussions and positive learning about critical subject material. With this in mind, it is important to understand what causes misbehavior and what can be done to limit it. Misbehavior must be taken in context however, since one must look at the situation and instructor to determine if a particular action falls in the misbehavior category. For example, walking around during a math lesson would be unacceptable, but walking around in a pottery class would be expected (Burden, 1995). In one study by Tiirkniiklii Galton (2001), ... • 4. Jealousy in Shakespeare´s Othello Essay Jealousy is a powerful emotion that can blind oneself from identifying the truth. Shakespeare heavily emphasizes this theme throughout the drama Othello, especially through the actions of characters. In the play the heinous antagonist, Iago, uses each character s jealousy to deceive that person and manipulate the truth. His false promises and deceitfulness bring to the demise of many of the main characters in the play, including the protagonist, Othello. Othello could not have been deceived if it were not for his powerful jealousy. Therefore, Shakespeare is telling us that jealousy is an ugly trait that can hide the truth, which in turn causes many problems between characters in the play. The play opens with Roderigo and Iago standing in a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After the quarrel, Iago reveals to the reader that he intends to use the fact that Casillo and Desdemona will be spending more time together, in order for Casillo to get his job back, to convince Othello that she is having an affair (1220). Othello is an easy target in this drama, because Iago already knows that he is a very insecure person. With that stated, it will be easy for Iago to use Othello s jealousy to trick him into thinking that Desdemona is an unfaithful wife. Iago will manipulate the way Othello sees things in order to convince him that what he sees is innocent acts between Desdemona and Casillo. Iago s starts to plant the idea in Othello s head of an affair after Othello sees Casillo rush leaving Desdemona in a manner that looked as though he is guilty (1223). Alone with Othello, Iago begins to make Othello feel threatened by Casillo and Desdemona s apparent relationship by bringing up the fact that Casillo served as Desdemona s and Othello s go between during the time of their courtship. The conversation ends with Iago asking Othello to watch carefully of Desdemona and Casillo, and Iago exits giving Othello time to question the accusation of Iago (1225 1228). Othello s insecurities are brought to surface as Othello announces, to only the audience, his thoughts. Also it is going to look at how different audience put up with this kind of material, but first of all it is going to look at the actual word itself and where in the blue marble that we call earth it originated from. • 7. The And Of The Czech Republic Introduction Bury carbon dioxide 100 miles into the Earth and heat it to about 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit. Then place it under the pressure of 725,000 pounds per square inch and quickly rush towards the earth s surface to cool. What would that result in? A diamond (Bain Company, 2011 p.3). Otherwise known as the quintessential token of love and promise. Diamond consumption, particularly diamonds as engagement rings, is much higher in the United States in comparison to the Czech Republic, due primarily to better brand development, which we can see in the synonymous nature of diamonds equating to love, and a stronger, more developed consumerist mentality. History The word diamond comes from the Greek word adamas meaning adamant or unbreakable. As mentioned before, the diamond crystals form deep within the mantle of the earth at intense pressures and temperatures, and then are blasted towards the surface in the course of violent eruptions, which can be referenced in figure 1. The tradition of giving a ring to the woman who has agreed to become the bride dates back centuries. Anthropologists believe this tradition originated from a roman custom indicating their husbands ownership (americangemsociety.org). Worn on the left hand on the finger nearest to the pinky, it was believed that there lay a vein, the vena amoris, that lead to the heart. This idea of the vein was popularized by Henry Swinburne in A Treatise of Spousals in 1686 (wikipedia.org). Yet, diamond ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Summary Of The Tipping Point By Malcolm Gladwell Inside The Evidence On The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell discuss different concepts that explain the sudden spread of a product or idea. Gladwell explains that this sudden and instantaneous spread is very similar to an epidemic. Gladwell uses the examples of fashion trends, the success of a book, the decrease of crime in New York City, smoking and the increase of suicide rate. To explain the three rules of the Tipping Point, the law of the few, the stickiness factor and the power of context (29) influence how a trend, product or action takes off as an epidemic. In the power of context Gladwell introduces a different way of being a connector. That one person can connect to many groups (173) and that small groups have the potential ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Gladwell presents us with many examples of real life situations when his idea of word of mouth comes out to be true. Gladwell supports his argument with past historical events and also with scientific studies. Not everyone will enjoy reading this type of approach Gladwell decided to use for his argument. But it just simply gives more credibility to his argument. The rise of the Methodist church is a better evidence to support one of Gladwell s main idea which is the stickiness factor rather than using the rise to popularity of the Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood . Although, the Ya Ya Sisterhood reached success due to the word of mouth and caused some stickiness, still not everyone is aware of its success. There is a greater percentage of people who are part of the Methodist church and live according to the ideology taught by its founder John Wesley (172). According to Gladwell the Methodist movement went from 20,000 to 90,000 followers in a space of five years. Chronic illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, arthritis and heart disease are the leading causes of disability throughout the United States. As of 2012, about half of all adults 117 million people had one or more chronic health conditions (CDC 2016). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In a study conducted by Brown, Sheffield, Leary and Robinson (2003) the researchers tested the association between social support and levels of pain. The study tested 101 undergraduate students. The subjects were randomly assigned to one of three groups. The groups were required to press a cold presser that delivered a small pain and after, rate their pain on a 10 point scale. Each group was either paired with a friend, a stranger or carried out the task alone. The study concluded that the individuals who used the cold presser while another person was in the room, stranger or friend, reported lower levels of pain. Evidently there is a connection between social support and pain tolerance. This information is extremely important because chronic illness is essentially a diagnosis of lifelong pain. If social support can improve this pain, these patients could improve their quality of life. In a study conducted by Lopez Martinez, Esteve Zarazaga and Ramirez Maestre (2008) the effects of social support on pain were further studied. It was a cloudy spring day and rain was predicted, so I was moving pretty fast because I didn t have an umbrella. I bought the ginger scone and on the way back home I looked across the street and saw a boy from my class pushing another younger boy. It was Billy, who was big for his size, pushing another kid and smacking him. I stopped for a moment to watch. How rude and unfair, I thought to myself. Billy had always been a bit rude to me and I had seen him bullying people on the playground but he never laid a hand on me. They do this in many different ways like for example; Robots are used in the Auto Industry to help build automobiles on assembly lines. It takes around twenty four hours on average to build a new automobile in a factory with the help of these robots. Without the machinery that is being used on these assembly lines it could take anywhere from three days to a week to build one automobile. That would also affect the price of said automobile and make it harder to purchase automobiles. Robots help improve many more functions in everyday life. The purpose of this project is to prove that robots improve upon human life and that the robots should be used more often. The first robot was hand built in between four hundred and three hundred fifty B.C. The inventor of the robot was mathematician Archytas. The robot functioned as a steam powered pigeon. The robot actually worked and at one point flew two hundred meters before it ran out of steam and landed on the ground. The robot was not very helpful. But it at the time was a great sign of what was to come in the future. The latest robots to be created are unrecognizable compared to this very first model. However, Waka Flocka did perform 6 other songs, but this was the one that exemplified the most diversity and togetherness. This has been a turn in Hip Hop because not all artist create a sense of music that would relate across multiple ethnicities especially since its Trap music. Throughout the sets, Waka Flocka s presentation and participating shook the crowd. Withn the lyrics, money, gender and other themes were touched on, but within his lyrics identity, race and class wasn t present. However, his performance allowed those of other ethnicities to feel the way those who come from the slums feel. It gave them perspective or an sense of being able to relate. As previously stated, I was a huge Waka Flocka fan and that same punch line always gets, so I was able to share the same moments. Waka Flocka s performance was really ... • 21. The Good Roads Bill By President Woodrow Wilson The Good Roads Bill was signed in 1916 by President Woodrow Wilson, but this law took decades of work by cycling activists to go from an idea to the oval office. The first mention of the poor road quality in America came on December 30, 1894 After this mention, the Good Roads Movement starts to spread. On May 26, 1895, the movement begins to spread to New York via political and democratic power. In mid 1985, in a time where good roads was growing momentum noted by the Gossip of the Cyclers column, apropos of good roads, the association of that name has since justly acquired a greater importance than it previously enjoyed. The Good Roads movement was spreading throughout the nation. People in Manhattan were beginning to covet Brooklyn s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During this time, a New Jersey and Pennsylvania boarder town became a Good Roads Success story. After putting $40,000 of roads in the city, a New Jersey town saw an increase in change and real estate prices. There was significantly more crops being moved in and out of the city due to the improved road quality. This success story became an example that the Good Roads Movement brought up continually when fighting for legislation, and it happened as early as 1896 (6). The Good Roads movement eventually had to get politically involved to lobby for money for roads. The cyclists started to partner with the farmers to influence regulation around the state of New York. An employee of the Agricultural Department of the Government said, the bicycle did more toward the cause of good roads than all the agitators since the time of Adam. This employee was saying that cyclists were the biggest activists for good roads since MacAdams engineered the MacAdams roads. The employee continues to say the the government is looking to continue improving roads. Based on the two quotes here, it is clear that cyclists in the Good Roads Movement helped persuade the government to create better roads (8). By October, new roads, bridges, and education policies were being put into place. Cyclists worked consistently to put in a bridge across an obstructive river in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 22. Causes Of Economic Inequality Income inequality is one of the largest fear mongering tactics that the left likes to use in order to advance their ideology. The differences in income in America can be attributed to many different factors, however much of the theories presented by the major distribution services do not reflect reality. Economic inequality is the difference in income between individuals across the United States. Sociologists define the social stratification of this as being the upper, middle, and lower classes. The upper class (the 1%) household makes $380,000+, with the middle class making upwards of $150,000, with the lower class being at the poverty level (around $25,000 for a family of 4 and around $20,000 for a family of three). There have been many solutions presented in order to tackle this subject, however many of them have not been practical enough to get the job done. What are the root causes of economic inequality and can it be fixed? This question has been addressed by numerous people and usually becomes increasingly popular during presidential campaigns. This past election has brought to light many of the disagreements and divisions between the country when it comes to dealing with social and economic issues. Liberals believe that income inequality is due to the faults of the 1% and that wealth should be redistributed. They believe that there are structures in place that limit the lower and middle lower classes from rising through the ranks. Conservatives tend to approach income inequality in a different way. They believe that inequality is one of the things that will always be present in society. Furthermore, they believe that your income is proportional to the kind of person you are based on your creativity, work ethic, and resources. Thomas Sowell, one of the leading economists and prolific authors, states that demographics means you can not have income equality. For example, Japanese Americans are more than 20 years older on average than Puerto Ricans in the United States. A 40 year old man, for example, has more than 10 times as much job experience as a 20 year old man, if you start counting from the age of 18 as adulthood. So there was never a reason to expect equality. So I go through many different ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 23. How Does Iago Say That Desdemona Is Evil In Othello Shakespeare s play Othello, focuses on the real tragedies of the play which is the character Othello s willingness to believe Iago s lies but also how Iago plays on Othello s few insecurities. Othello is clearly not to blame for most of the tragedy as the audience sees how crafty Iago is with other characters. He can manipulate Roderigo and Cassio so easily. It takes Iago an entire act and part of another to convince Othello that Desdemona is unfaithful. Othello does not fall easily, but he does fall. Othello is a good man. He sees the good in others. Iago is aware of that fact. This brings up more important questions such as: are good people more vulnerable because they are less suspicious than evil ones? To make his plans work, Iago used psychological manipulation on his victims and used their emotional weaknesses to his advantage. Iago s first victim was Roderigo. Iago made Roderigo believe that he could help him get closer to Desdemona, and Roderigo, being very gullible, believed this. Iago convinced Roderigo to start a fight with Cassio and to even sell his properties so Iago would have enough money to travel to Cyprus. This is seen in I could never better stead thee than now. Officially consecrated in Paris in 1924 with the publication of the Manifesto of Surrealism by the poet and critic André Breton (1896 1966), Surrealism became an international intellectual and political movement. The Surrealists sought to channel the unconscious as a means to unlock the power of the imagination. Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision, creating strange creatures from everyday objects, and developed painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself. Its aim was to resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dream and reality into an absolute reality. Once we deployed and the agencies began using it, and cut their incidents to almost none, I was able to partner with them to secure more funding. My cost model, after startup cost, was cheaper to deploy and maintain than commercial off the shelf software, due to the custom code developed internally. Since I provided better and cheaper tools I was able to negotiate maintenance contracts with them and use that funding to further develop my tools. I was also able to politically influence agency standards when it came to cyber defense. Since the tools were developed by the government for the government, agencies was more willing to spend more money than on private tools because the code was more secure. • 28. How Organisms Evolved From a Common Ancestors One of the most important principles of biology is the main idea of evolution. This theory states, that all living organisms have evolved from a common ancestor through natural selection acting on hereditary variation (Reece, 2011). Many people today, know humans have evolved from a common ancestor; but they do not recognize the importance of it. Everyone should be educated about how organisms evolved because humans have evolved throughout many centuries. Charles Darwin had many theories that incorporated the main principle of biology, natural selection and evolution. Darwin explained natural selection as an evolutionary change where organisms that become more adapted to their environment will survive better than those who do not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... While Darwin was on his voyage, the Beagle, he noticed that different organisms and things vary in characteristics and their adaptations to different environments. While Darwin was studying natural selection, he noticed that different species would have to compete for survival allowing some species to have different characteristics that help them survive and produce more offspring. These offspring traits are passed down from their parents, and it will help them become more successful in their need for survival (College, 2009). Darwin had to prove natural selection existed and how traits are passed down to offspring. He did this by the process of Pangenesis (College, 2009). Pangenesis is when each organ in the body has certain particles called gemmules. The gemmules, contain information of how each organ works; they are eventually released to the reproductive organs (College, 2009). They are passed down to the offspring from the reproductive organs. Today, Darwin s theory is well supported because of DNA and fossil records. Charles Darwin spend most of his life focused on the theory of natural selection and evolution. After I went to Torchy s twice, I decided to give it two thumbs up. I love Mexican food, and as a native of Texas I ve had plenty of it in my sixteen years of life. Just as a disclaimer, if you are not a fanatic of spicy foods, I would not suggest Torchy s to you. From my first trip, I tried the queso first which contains green chile, quacamole, and diablo hot sauce, but as a lover of fiery foods, I fairly enjoyed this. Their chips are made homemade style and the only negative thing I would say is their chips are made too thin for their queso.
