both stories. Evidently, there are many similarities and differences between them both. Between both
narrators, they share the same point of view. However, one narrator seems to be angry while the other
seems to be intimidated. The narrators of The Man in the Black Suit and The Black Cat similarly have
first person point of view, however King s key difference of not being reliable results in suspense for
that story.
Both narrators from the story share a similarity of having first person point of view. To clarify, both
narrators go through a hardship that they both tell throughout their story. Gary from The Man in the
Black Suit faces his hardship through seeing that He was wearing a black three piece suit, and I knew
right away that he was not a human being, because his eyes were the orangey red of flames in a wood
stove (King 5). Through this quote, readers can infer by the use of the narrator s diction that he was
intimidated by the man in the black suit. In addition, by the narrator s choice of I , it meant that the
narrator was by himself during this hardship. The fearful tone that the narrator suggests helps
contribute to the point of view used in the quote above. The structure of the story for the narrator to be
lonely throughout his hardship makes the theme (bad things happen to good people) significant. Not to
mention, during the story, the reader develops an inference that the narrator may not make it out of the
situation alive. Comparatively, the narrator from The Black Cat has the same point of view as the
narrator in The Man in the Black Suit. The husband in The Black Cat seems to believe that he is alone

In this paper, I propose that the Communist Manifesto has only a weak correlation to current world. To
prove this, I will explore four key factors. First, I will summarize Communism and the foundation of
the Communist Manifesto using the designated class study materials. I believe that it is essential for
the reader to have a baseline upon which I will then explain my position. I will also explore how
Religion relates to the concept of universal justice in society and how it plays into the communist
manifesto. I will then analyze the impacts that technological evolution has had in society and show
that it does not always benefit mankind. Finally, I will conclude with a summary of the strengths and
weaknesses of the manifesto as it relates it to the present world.
Communism was a political view point that was invented by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Marx
and Engels meet in 1844 and just 4 years later in 1848 they wrote and published, The communist
Manifesto . The goal was to detail the historical development that would lead to a post capitalist
society. They wanted capitalism to die because they believed social classes would lead to world

Orleans was in 2013. The population was 378,715. But before that, the population was at 495,080. The
massive decrease in population just one effect of the devastating flood that occurred in 2005. In 2005
the population was 208,508. At that time New Orleans was 287 years old. It was founded in 1718.
New orleans is a subtropical climate with nice year round weather. The weather changes from the mid
50 s in the winter to the mid 90 s in the winter. Rain in New orleans is normal and the monthly

It has housing, hospitals, and school, etc. We have a lot of abandoned buildings in New Orleans
because of the flood, the population dropped so a lot of people didn t go shopping so store owners had
to close their shop. So we decided to renovate them into modern things. Like the Charity Hospital. It is
a million square feet in the middle of the city. We can renovate that into a more modern Charity
Hospital. A Charity Hospital would be best because there are a lot of people that don t have insurance
or a health care provider so they depend on Charity Hospitals. Either that or let there be free health
insurance. Anyway, there are also a lot of residential places in New Orleans so the population is
average. If there is a lot of residentials that means there is a decent amount of children in the city. So
that means there is a lot of schools. But, because of the flood the schools drop with the population. So
lots of kids education was getting messed with. So some of the other abandoned places like the
Lalaurie Mansion can be turned into a kindergarten through 5th grade school. There are a lot more
abandoned buildings and we can fix them or completely changed into something better and more
