This all took place in September 2002, Mike is homeless and living in his car, suffering from
dementia. Nigerian pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu (played by Will Smith) is giving a testimony in
court over a murder case. He works at the coroner s office in Allegehney county where he has an odd
habit of speaking to the deceased. Webster visits Dr. Bailes over his condition. He appears to be
getting worse. Webster is visited at his car by fellow football player Strzelczyk, who is also suffering
from a similar condition. Webster complains that he doesn t want to go to sleep, so he is seeing tasing
himself to stay awake. He is later found dead and it shocks everyone. His body is brought in for
Bennet to examine. Bennet takes a look at Webster s brain and discovers severe head trauma that led
to his mental problems. He furthers his research by studying football videos and noticing the amount
of times he took serious blows to the head. After this Strzcelczyk is seen ready to attack his wife and
children, claiming that the voices in his head are telling him to kill them. His wife screams at him to
get out, and he drives away and ends up dying. Bennet examines them as well and concludes that the
men suffered from CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy). After word of this gets out, it is

patients are unnecessary (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2016). Overutilization of
antibiotics is a growing problem due to some patients inappropriate demands for antibiotics or
misdiagnoses by prescribers, however, underutilization of antibiotics can be just as problematic.
Physicians are trained to use good antimicrobial stewardship when prescribing antibiotics; only giving
them to patients who truly do have a bacterial infection. This becomes an issue when providers are too
cautious and do not prescribe antibiotics in an attempt not to contribute to antibiotic resistance.
Unfortunately, this caution could have a detrimental effect on the health of patients who actually need

portraying different characters. He appears through various expressions, those ranging from appearing

Upon investigating the bones Schmerling did not recognize them as a distinct species (Sawyer et al.
2007).The first true Neanderthal was discovered in the Neander Valley, near Dusseldorf in 1856 by a
group of miners who were blasting out a cave in the area. When the crew uncovered archaic bones
they contacted a local schoolteacher, Johann Karl Fuhlrott. Fuhlrott was the first to recognize the
fossils as a new species. In 1864, William King in the Quarterly Journal of Science identified this new

Dietary Differences
The diets of Homo neanderthalensis and Homo sapiens are very different. The diet of the Homo
sapiens shows how they were learning to adapt better to their environment, while the Neanderthals
were very set in how they gathered food. Studies of nitrogen preserved in the bones of Neanderthals
have shown that they consumed a substantial quantity of meat; comparable to that eaten by
contemporary wolves (Delson et. al 2006). The current interpretation of the Neanderthal diet is that
they were most likely hunters rather than scavengers (Delson et. al 2006). It was once thought that the
Neanderthal diet was comprised mainly of meat due plant life being seasonal in the cold climate they
