Generators Primary Heating Water Circuit Functioning
Generators Primary Cooling Water Circuit functioning :
In order to distinguish the treated water from the secondary coolant (raw water, condensator etc.) it is
named as primary water because it is used for cooling stator winding, phase connectors and bushings .
The secondary cooling absorbs the heat from the primary cooler when water is circulated in a closed
circuit by the primary water cooler. The pump is supplied with in primary water cooler. Water is
supplied to the flow paths of the generator by supplying it to the primary water tank i.e by supplying it
to tht primary water cooler through the pump.
Flow path I :
Stator winding is cooled by Flow path I . This flow path passes through the stator bars via insulated
barbefor this it passes through the water manifold on the exciter end of the generator which is
connected to thestatus bars by a separate hose.Cooling water flows through hollow strands inside the
bars. At the turbine end, the water return to the primary water tank which comes from another water
manifold which in turn comes from the similar hoses.Minimum temperature rise is obtained for both
the bars and the coolers because the water folw is single pass through the stator. Movements are
relatively minimised which are caused due to the different thermal expansions between the bottom and
the top bars.
Flow Path II :
Phase connectors and the Bushings are cooled by Flow Path II . The cooling water is circulated

Coffin, Urns, And Webcast Funerals By Edward Wong
Funerals, like all industries, are changing with the times. The fact that funerals can be referred to as an
industry shows just how much they have changed. At one time a funeral was a ritual that offered
support to a community by allowing them to fall back on beliefs. Funerals now are less impactful. A
funeral today is deritualized and rationalized. They are more of an obligation than a ritual for support.
The article Coffin, Urns, and Webcast Funerals by Edward Wong is a perfect example of the
deritualization of funerals. It gives examples of how funerals have become less interrupting and tragic.
Just the idea of not having to physically be at a funeral to see it is deritualization. The purpose of this
isn t to add to the funeral for the

Web 2.0 In Business
Are social networks effectives for doing business? Simply fashions?
Actually, millions of people around the world or being more exact, most of the people around the
world have became member of a social networking; moreover people have used this idea along the
time to connote complex sets of relationships between members from interpersonal to international.
Looking for a complete definition of social networking, I have found it defined it as a service provider
of web applications that permit people connect between them and share contents, interact and create
communities with similar interest in order to facilitate the relationships between users. In the other
hand, we can find a place for social networks in business world in order to improve the information
flow between companies related.
Nowadays, companies and organizations are using social networks as a tool of success for their
business. However, those companies and organizations are more directed

Christianity And Islam Compare And Contrast
The first religion is Islam. Islam is monotheistic religion which professes that there is only one God,
and that Muhammad is the final prophet God sent. It is the second largest religion in the world. The
largest religion which is being compared by scripture is Christianity. Christianity is a monotheistic
religion which also professes that there is only one God. It is based on the creator and teachings of
Jesus of Nazareth, and its beliefs and practices. Christianity is the largest practiced religion in the
world. Christianity and Islam scripture share and differ in many ways. The first important text in Islam
is the Quran. This is the literal words of God in their original Arabic language. Muslims believe that it
was dictated to Muhammad by the archangel Jibril over and interval of 23 years (religioustolerance).
Jabil wanted Muhammad to preach Gods will and he was afraid, but then his family and friends
convinced him to become a prophet. Mohammed was chosen to bring back the people to a religion of
only worshiping one god. Over time the orally taught text was written down to be the Quran. The
central theme of the Quran is monotheism. God is described as a living, eternal, and all powerful God.

Nursing Documentation Essay
8.1 DOCUMENTATION This concept was taken from module 12 Quality outcomes sub topic 1
quality assurance . Documentation is a material that provides official information or evidence or that
serves as a record. It is also known as record keeping. Documentation helps to protect the welfare of
patients and clients which is the fundamental aim of nurses everywhere (Nursing and midwifery
council 2002). Documentation in nursing involves a full description of assessment and care given. It
includes information about the patient needs and all the necessary care that was rendered and the
response to the actions. 8.2 PERSONAL CONTEXT Documentation has been of great relevance in
the line of my duty. When actions or care are rendered to patients or client without been documented,
it is assumed that the care wasn t carried out. Hence, I ensure that every care rendered and complains

Documentation also improves better care by facilitating effective communication between nurses and
other caregivers. 8.5 CURRENT RESEARCH In a record study, quality nursing documentation was
discovered to improve communication between caregivers which helped to facilitate continuity of care
and individually of care (Bjorwell et al 2000, Voutilainen et al 2004). The quality of documentation
was measured by using various audit instruments. A systematic review of quantitative and qualitative
studies about nursing documentation audits and reports was undertaken. Audit approaches focused on
three natural dimensions of nursing documentation/structure or format, process and content. Flaws of
nursing documentation were identified. Researchers should pay more attention to accuracy in
documentation, focus on factors leading to differences in practice and also the faults in quality of
documentation and it s effect in nursing

The Six Circus Basilica
Circus Basilica: The Christian Circus But there stands close by another church, renowned for its
princely decoration, for the great multitude to enter then, a lofty church with towering walls, and a
great one by reason of its proud grandeur, and gifts made it rich (Prudentius, 319). One reading this
would assume that this building is just another church in Rome. In fact, the building that is described
in this quote is the basilica of S Lorenzo fuori le mura; one of the six, so far discovered basilicas that
are apse ended. Apart from this similarity, they all also have a lot of the dead buried within, under and
around them, and are usually situated around catacombs. The reason these basilicas are so
controversial is because scholars disagree ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, because of the many parallels in structure, I argue that the apse ended plan of the circus
basilicas were based or influenced by the circuses. It was a marketing ploy used by the early
Christians to convert the pagans, as well as to make this new religion easier to accept and relate to. I
also argue that the circus basilicas were based on the circuses as a way to remember the athletes of
Christianity the martyrs that died in the circus for their cause; whose graves tended to be close to these
basilicas, of not named after

Zombie banks
What are zombie banks
The term zombie bank was first introduced by Edward Kane in 1987 to describe a bank that has a
negative net worth but still continues to operate. A negative net worth means that the fair value of
assets is lower than the total value of liabilities. Zombie banks usually have large amounts of non
performing assets on their balance sheets making them unprofitable. A loan is considered to be a non
performing asset if no principal payments or interest have been paid for 90 days and is therefore seen
to be in jeopardy of default. The fair value of an asset that is considered non performing is
considerably reduced. Zombie banks usually continue to operate until their financial situation is
resolved or they are run ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As a result, Japan went into a prolonged period of deflation that lasted for most of the 1990 s. In order
to boost demand, the Japanese government took a Keynesian approach and went through 10 fiscal
stimulus packages in 1990 s totaling over 100 trillion yen (10). However, this didn t have the desired
effect on demand because of deflation. Consumers were putting off purchase decisions because prices
were falling. The real GDP stagnated and average growth between 1990 and 2001 was only 0.37%
(12).
The European debt crisis began in 2009 when rating agency s downgraded Greek government and
bank debt because Greece s government debt reached 113% of GDP. Furthermore, in 2010 Greece s
budget deficit for 2009 was revised from 3.7% to 12.7% (13). Since then Greece has received multiple
bail outs and the crisis has spread throughout the Eurozone and many countries like Portugal, Spain,
Ireland and Italy have been severely affected. The Eurozone crisis is a combination of sovereign debt,
productivity, private debt, asset bubble and banking crisis. Contrary to BOJ in 1990 s, the ECB reacted
to the crisis by quickly lowering the interest rate to 1% in May 2009 (14). Furthermore, the ECB
started intervening with the securities market directly in 2010 with the Securities Markets Programme

Homophonic o Adele lead singer o Piano, drum set, background singers, strings, guitar, bass guitar,

The homophonic texture is what most popular music today is described as. There is a prominent
person, maybe a lead singer, and a background. Even without the background, there may still be a
song. The piano, drum set, background singers, string instruments, guitar, bass guitar and the toms add
to the song because they add their own dynamic to it. They all play a crucial and different role in the
song as well.
The overall effect of the song, Hello, by Adele is effective in communicating the message of the song.
Each section that I talked about above gives unique qualities to the song that make people interested
and like the song. I like how throughout the song, it builds more and more slowly by adding
instruments or even just instruments playing louder dynamics as the song builds. I also like how the
song is not overly complicated and there is not too much going on instrumental

Longboarding Vs Longboard Research Paper
The feeling riders get as they are skating around town on a nice sunny day, with all of their buddies, is
one of the best feelings in the world. Many people do not know this, but there is actually more than
one type of skating. The two biggest types are skateboarding and longboarding. There are many
similarities and differences between the two. The first being the length and style of the deck.
Longboards are generally longer and shaped differently than a regular skateboard. Second, would be
how the board is ridden and the different tricks riders can do on each type of board. Regardless, people
can ride and cruise on either type. The last comparison is the price difference between the two boards.
Most of the time a longboard is more expensive ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most of the time, longboards are more expensive than skateboards because they have bigger trucks,
wheels, and the deck is longer. This is not always the case though. If a skateboard is more expensive
than a longboard, the longboard is more than likely a cheaper made board with lower quality trucks
and wheels. This does not mean the board is terrible, it just means it was made cheaper so that more
people can afford to buy it. Skateboards are the same way. The good brands of skateboard decks like
Baker, Anti Hero, Plan B, Deathwish, etc... are normally $40 $60. Longboards decks, especially
brands like Sector 9, Globe, Landyachtz, etc... can start at around $75 and can get up to over $200 for
just the deck. Even though every board is different in price, they are all equally as enjoyable to

Leadership And Effective Communication
Effective communication is a critical skills that leader must possess in order to manage a project or
programme successfully. The main focus of this text is to discuss why effective communication plays
an important role for leadership and how leadership share its similarities and differences in project and
programme team. Some examples will be given from the exercise to support the idea of how effective
communication and good leadership can impact the work progress. Following there will be some
recommendations of how the programme review meeting can be improved.
1.1 Reason for project/progrmme communication
Communication is important because project management involves 70% to 80% communication and
its value increases at programme level since there is often an increase in stakeholders, complexity, and
delegation (Levin, 2012). This substantial amount of communication time would suggest that the
importance of effective communication is needed in order to achieve objectives. Inefficient
communication could result in time/cost overrun since information is not disseminate to the right
person quickly or correctly and therefore is likely to create a knock on effect on time and cost.
Effective communication can be also seen as a solution for some issues during management. Some
typical issues would be lacking the understanding and awareness of other project s problems and
targets during a programme, and team members in a programme are fighting for same space and
resources

The Media s Influence On Body Image
America is obsessed with body image. In today s world, you can t go through the day without seeing
the television, advertisements, magazines, or really any type of media portraying women s bodies.
Due to the immense societal pressure that women should have the perfect body to be accepted, the
nonstop reminders to change what they look like, struggling with body image has now become a
major social phenomenon and it s time for women to challenge that narrative. Women of all ages are
facing face increasing scrutinization over their body image through media influence leading to
invasive surgeries, increased depression, and eating disorders. Media plays a large role in influencing
body shame through the advertisements they put out and who is casted for the lead roles. From weight

America s poor body image can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle. The standards of how society views
women as beautiful have changed throughout the years. Seeing constantly that only women who are a
size two are considered beautiful doesn t make loving yourself easier. These issues cause depression
and eating disorders among women and some extreme cases the criticism and self hatred lead to
suicide. The reason often evolves from people picking on them and constantly being put down by the
media. The media is mostly to blame for these false perceptions of beauty, through their
advertisements and the type of women they cast for lead roles. Recently, there s been small
movements of progress. More diverse women, ethnically diverse and bodily diverse, have been
making waves. America must step up to the plate to challenge the media on the narrative they ve set

Differing Views on Reconstruction
By 1866, several distinct positions on Reconstruction emerged. These were divided into three
opposing camps: Conservatives (democrats), Moderates, and Radicals. The Conservatives believed the
South should be readmitted into the Union as soon as possible, but the Radicals and Moderates
believed there should be consequences for succeeding. br br The question of what those consequences
should be separated Radical from Moderate. The answer to this question was as related to how
important each side believed it was to enfranchise African Americans into this country (socially,
politically, economically, and culturally) as it was in exacting an appropriate punishment for the
treasonous South. Although the two Republican factions disagreed on ... Show more content on

Richard H. Dana outlined this theory in his 1865 speech when he stated We have a right to hold the
rebels in the grasp of war until we have obtained whatever the public safety and the public faith
require. This called for a military occupation of the South, however Radicals and Moderates disagreed
on the idea of land confiscation. Moderates believed that if blacks were given equal rights to whites
then they could slowly pull themselves up by the bootstraps and gain socioeconomic equality to
whites within several generations. Moderates also believed that giving blacks land would make them
lazy, this they said would lead to blacks not farming. Moreover, they did not believe blacks deserved
the land, because they had not worked for it. Most importantly they believed, that by confiscating
Southern lands and giving them to blacks, this would anger former slaveholders and thus make
Reconstruction more difficult. br br Both Moderates and Radicals shared the philosophy of racial
egalitarianism. Moderates and Radicals were staunch supporters of the 13th and 14th Amendments.
These factions united when they refused to swear in Southern Congressmen in 1868. This was a
defiant measure. At the forefront of the push for Johnson s impeachment were Radicals and
Moderates. The division occurred on the policy of confiscation. Radicals saw it as a way of giving the
newly enfranchised African American land to farm while the Moderates

Essay Sylvia Plath s Lady Lazarus
Sylvia Plath s Lady Lazarus
In her poem, Lady Lazarus, Sylvia Plath uses dark imagery, disturbing diction, and allusions to
shameful historical happenings to create a unique and morbid tone that reflects the necessity of life
and death. Although the imagery and diction and allusions are all dark and dreary, it seems that the
speaker s attitude towards death is positive. The speaker longs for death, and despises the fact the she
is continually raised up out of it.
From the title, Plath gives us immediately the theme of the poem. The title is a reference to a man in
the New Testament that had been dead for four days, and was raised to life by Jesus. Plath uses this
literary allusion to establish right off the bat that she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(5) Plath successfully creates an perfect image of what the speaker s skin looks like as she is
reawakened from death, and still manages to tie in a disturbing historical allusion that conjures up
horrible images of death.
Later on, towards the end of the poem Plath makes reference to another set of Nazi actions and by
doing so strengthening the image of death and destruction. In lines 73 thru 78, the speaker says:
Ash, ash You poke and stir. Flesh, bone, there is nothing there A cake of soap, A wedding ring, A gold
filling.
These images and allusions to horrific crimes against humanity do an excellent job of creating an
image of death as a horrible, painful thing. Plath alludes to the burning of the Jews in large ovens,
burning them down to ash, so that nothing was left but gold fillings, and a wedding ring, as well as
makes reference to another disturbing report that some Nazi soldiers made soap out of the Jew s as
well as lampshades. These terrible images are designed to paint a wretched view of death.
Interestingly enough, these images and ideas that death is a horrible, bad thing runs contrary to the
speakers actual feelings that death is a great way to escape life, and in the end it is all she (the speaker)
really wants to do.
Although Plath uses atrocious examples of death and uses the rebirth of Lazarus as the basis of the
poem, the underlying tone presented is

Teen Music And The Music
Parents of teenagers fear one thing in particular: their music, especially the lyrical content. Teenagers
find no issue in the music they listen to, and for good reason: just because the music may contain
explicit or violent lyrics, research has disproven any conspiratorial links between the music and
violent behavior. In fact, it can be used resourcefully instead, unless censorship removes that resource.
Teen music, specifically hip hop and rap, should not be censored because the lyrics can be a useful
teaching tool; society suffers from all forms of censorship; and no clearly proven link exists between
violent teen behavior and urban music. Most teenagers are interested in some form of explicit music,
because they feel like it speaks directly to them. As a result, educators have begun taking note of this
and have begun to incorporate music, especially hip hop and rap, into their classes. Many hip hop
artists write lyrics focused on their own experiences, in the hopes of inspiring someone else. Carla
Stokes began using urban music when teaching students about gender and sexuality. When I started
working with young people... themes around rap music repeatedly came up in the classroom... so I
began using hip hop as a tool to stimulate conversations about gender and sexuality... Hip hop s
become a significant way of fostering dialogue around many important issues they re facing in their
lives (Stokes 1). Hip hop can be used to teach in the literary arts as well. Lyrics, when

Personal Electronics, Clothing, And Vacation Destination
1. Consider the last purchase you made in these categories: personal electronics, clothing, and
vacation destination. To what extent was your purchase decision influenced by decision making
complexity, individual influences, social influences, and situational influences? What specific issues
were the most influential in making the decision? How could a marketer have swayed your decision in
each case? When making majority of my purchases I do research on the item and analyze all the
reviews that are left from customers that have already purchased the item. The last personal electronic
that I purchased was my Apple MacBook. The decision making complexity was not a major issue
when making this purchase. I have owned many laptops and they all seemed to have last for about
three to four years. My wife has owned her MacBook for almost ten years and has never had an issue.
I knew I was going to buy a MacBook and all the different specs that I could choose from never really
made a difference. The individual influence from my wife played a major role in this purchase. She
has never had any problems with her MacBook and pushed that I make the same purchase for my next
computer. The social influence was not a major factor in the decision to make the purchase as many of
my friends did not own a MacBook. The situational influence played two major factors against the
purchase of the MacBook. The software that a MacBook uses is different from Windows that majority
of computers use.

In building architecture the design is hard to change once it is set up. It is also more time consuming to
change and more costly. The last aspect is the scheduling aspect. In software architecture one can
schedule a project to be done in as little as one month depending on the project. Within the building
architecture the scheduling is more time consuming and could take up more time depending if the
stakeholder is approved for certain aspects of the building. In the building architecture one needs to
take into consideration the scheduling when it comes to the inspectors. There are times when they are
able to go and let the stakeholders know what passed and what did not. In software architecture the
program will flag where the program is, making it easier for the programmer to go back and check on
the spot when running the program. In the diagram below one can see the aspects as well as the

SEXUAL REPRODUCTION
Sexual Reproduction is the formation of a new organism from two parents usually, and involves the
joining of gametes [ e.g. sperm, pollen, egg] to form a single cell called a zygote [ or fertilised egg ].
The offspring are similar, but not identical to the parents. Sexually Reproductive organisms include

Juvenile Delinquency And The Public Sphere
Bibliography (10 references) for the Critical Review Paper
Bradley, K. (2012). Juvenile delinquency and the public sphere: exploring local and national discourse
in England, c . 1940 69. Social History, 37(1), pp.19 35.
This article explores juvenile delinquency and the public sphere by looking at local and national
discourse in England from the 1940 to 1969. Bradley, in discussing juvenile delinquency and the
public sphere argues that the fears of juvenile delinquency should be treated as a historical
phenomenon. The article touches upon Pearson s book, with Bradley arguing that anxieties about the
behaviour of the poorest young have a powerful presence in the British public sphere, and goes on
further to explore the relationship between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Goldson explores the question of whether images of contemporary youth gangs, violence and crime
are distorted and exaggerated by the media s presentation to present a generation of youth in crisis. In
exploring this, Goldson draws upon the work of other authors on female violence (Susan A. Batchelor;
Tara Young), the history of youth (Geoffrey Pearson), youth gangs and late Victorian society (Andrew
Davies) and youth territorial behaviour and violence. This source is useful as it formulates a
discussion around what Pearson discusses in his book to quite some extent, making a great source to
begin to grasp some understanding of Pearson s argument by intertwining it with other arguments laid

Sergei Rachmaninoff Research Paper
Audience members of today can be overpowered by the boundless, encompassing sound that Sergei
Rachmaninoff s music creates, and entertainers are wary to supply feelings his works request.
Rachmaninoff s pieces are constrained in number, yet their rich sonorities and loftiness have made
them gauges of traditional music ( Basic ). In the event that you see, time has been a deceiver to
numerous arrangers, however certainly not for Rachmaninoff s situation. He is still recollected today
as a standout amongst the most imposing musicians ever and the last really incredible author in the

He also patched his relationship with Zverev, which had fallen apart after deciding to become a

the repertoire very quickly; other than Aleko, works, for example, his Piano Concerto No. 1 and
Prelude in C Sharp minor for solo piano have turned out to be adored by many ( Basic ). He was a
dynamic arranger until March 1897, when his Symphony No. 1 received its deplorable debut under
Alexander Glazunov. The ensemble was destroyed by pundits, including Cesar Cui, although much is
owed to the clumsiness of Glazunov s interpretation, his mediocre haunted Rachmaninoff and the

The Biblical Canon Of The Bible
The Biblical Canon For as long as records have been maintained, the Bible remains the bestselling
book worldwide, year after year (Jeynes, 2012). One might be curious about the reasons it is popular,
or more importantly, how did it come about. Called the canon of Scriptures, or a list , it is the
compilation of biblical books regarded by Christians as uniquely authoritative (Klein, Blomberg,
Hubbard, Jr., 1993, p. 103). It includes 66 books encompassing thousands of years of history, written
in multiple genres, and authored by many individuals. Inclusion into the canon required the necessity
of scripture to meet specific criteria. Careful study dictated what became standard for believers (Klein,
Blomberg, Hubbard, Jr., 1993). A person s understanding of the canonization of the Bible will affect
how they will view the validity and authoritativeness of God s Word.
Old Testament In order to be declared acceptable to be included within the canon there are specific
criteria that are considered for the Old Testament. One of the first questions asked by the curious
reader is, Who authored the Old Testament? The easy and most appropriate answer to that important
question is God. That is to say that the Bible is divinely inspired and is an important, the most
important, criterion for acceptance into the canon (Detweiler, 1985).ne can look to 2 Timothy 3:16 for
confirmation, all of scripture is God breathed (NIV). Evidence is found in scripture itself. For instance

Comparision of Genesis with Other Creation Mythologies Essay
Comparison of Genesis with Other Creation Mythologies
We all know that our mothers and fathers gave us birth, and grandmothers and grandfathers gave our
parents birth. However, what about the beginning? What does the beginning look like? Who created
the sky, the earth, the mountains and rivers, the plants, the animals, and the human beings? How was
the world created? What happened to the creator? These questions have puzzled and are asked by
every people. However, no one has yet found the answers, and I have heard people saying that the
creation of life is as impossible as the natural creation of an airplane from a stack of waste. With the
willingness of knowing the self, ancient people tried to create mythological stories ... Show more

The only difference is that in this Indian story, not even God (or an equivalent form) was there.
Egyptians and Chinese imagined the same scene, the Nun and the chaotic egg with a giant (Egyptian,
Lin 1). In contrast with the creation out of nothing, the indigenous Australian mythology tells us that
the stars, the sky, the sun, the moon, and the ancestors of all lives were already present in the
beginning, but they are sleeping under the crust of the earth in the water holes (Aborigine). Seneca
people believed that humans were living in the heaven originally, and there were only ocean and ocean
living lives on the earth (Creation). It is very interesting to recognize how important water is to lives.
Every account of creation that I have read included water before anything else was present.
Whatever was present in the beginning had managed to create all the rest, and the description of
creators are of three categories, a single creator, multi creators, and no creator. In Genesis, God is the
single creator, and so is Brahman of India. The difference is that the God is immortal, but Brahman is
mortal (Genesis, Genesis Project). In Chinese mythology, Pan Gu was the creator of everything but
men, who were created by Nu Wa, a goddess (Lin 1 5). Other examples of multi creators are in the
mythology of Egypt and Seneca in which the children of the creator became

When Conducting The Research For My Survey, I Will Be...
When conducting the research for my survey, I will be studying the political preference of people in
correlation to the political preference of the town they grew up in. For example, a person is more
likely to be a Republican if they originate from a Republican dominated town. The independent
variable, the variable whose variation does not depend on the other, that will be studied is political
preference of the participant: Republican, Democratic or Independent. A person s political preference
can have many conceptual definitions. It can mean the person lives a certain lifestyle, or they have
views on policy and how the government should run. It can also determine stereotypical characters as
about the person themselves. Moreover, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, Please choose how strongly you agree with the statement: My parents imposed
Republican values on me throughout my childhood. 1 = Extremely Disagree, 2 = Disagree, 3 =
Neutral, 4 = Agree, 5 = Agree.
The hypothesis of this study is people are more likely to be a specific political party depending on the
majority of the political preference of the participant s hometown. There is a positive relationship
between the two variables of the person s political preference and their hometown s political
preference. This type of research and survey has drawn a lot of attention from the media with the
current 2016 Presidential Election between now President Donald J. Trump and Senator Hillary
Clinton. This election had a much stronger impact on the population of the United States both
mentally and emotionally. Through general knowledge and evidence, the media made an abundant
amount of traction on how numerous statisticians and pollers predicted Clinton to win the election by
a landslide. In the end, they were wrong as Trump won the presidency. It is important to understanding
how to determine if someone is a Republican or Democratic and their voting patterns to correctly
predict future outcomes of elections. Similarly, I have predicted this proposed hypothesis based on the
assumption that children gain traits like their parents. If parents impose political beliefs, it could affect
the child and what they grow up to believe. Certain traits and

Persuasive Essay On Terrorism
Instead, we should accept the risk and live our lives to the full. (Starling) The issue of terrorism is that
it doesn t stop and it s been going on for years now, and it seems that the people haven t done much to
stop this. The reasoning is that since terrorism has been a thing for a while they have probably seen
everything that they can do, so by trying to fight it, it will most likely become even worse. Terrorists
are attacking more religious people than non religious people because they might be against that race
of the person, or what they believe in. It has even been said all around the world, that Terrorism is a
major problem in countries and something must be done or else people will keep on dying. To prevent

In addition, 17,958 people died in 2013 due to terrorist attacks, and most of these attacks happened in
Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Syria. They mostly happened in these countries because all
of these countries have a religion that they follow, and religious people, and terrorist s mostly will
attack religious people. In the article The Geography of Terrorism by Kathy Gilsinan it states, Since
2000 there has been over a five fold increase in the number of deaths from terrorism, rising from
3,361 in 2000 to 17,958 in 2013. This quote is showing us the statistics of the amount of deaths from
2000 2013, and that terrorism is a big priority that needs to be fixed, telling from the 15,000 death
increase. Also in the article it states, Much of the increase in terrorism related fatalities in 2013 took
place in Iraq, where terrorists claimed nearly 4,000 lives a 168 percent increase over 2012. This quote
describes another reasoning that the amount of deaths are increasing because of terrorist attacks. Many
people are dying due to terrorist attacks, and that most attacks are on people with a major religious
belief.
Next, there were different kind of actions of terrorist attacks in the years 1793 s 1990s. These attacks
are affecting citizens, and terrorists. In the article The History of Terrorism by Amy Zalman, Ph.D, in

Prayer In Schools Research Paper
In 1960 Madalyn Murray O Hair sued Baltimore public schools for requiring students to read the
Bible and to recite the Lord s prayer. At this time in history reciting prayers and reading the Bible
were common in schools across the nation. Children could be excused from this exercise if they were
equipped with a note from their parents. Instead of O Hair following this procedure she believed that
this exercise violated the First Amendment rights. The case ended up making it to the Supreme Court
where is was joined with a similar case. In 1963, the court ruled in favor of O Hair with an eight to
one vote. The Supreme Court decision ended prayer and prayer recitation in schools. To this day this
court decision has caused much controversy. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The biggest motive behind banning is the separation of church and state. Separation of church and
state is the distance between religion and the nation state. This is hard concept to find a concept to find
a fine line between church and state. This can be resolved by keeping everything completely separate.
All church related stuff stays within church or home and all state stuff is elsewhere. Prayer within ones
self is not banned so there is no need for mandatory prayer especially if there are students who choose
not to pray. They would be singled out due to not participating which is not fair for them. Prayer
within public schools could potentially lead to intolerance due to religious difference amongst the
students that were unaware. This could again also lead to singling out student also known as
ostracized. Public schools were created for all students and are funded by all taxpayers. With that
being said it only makes sense and is right for the school to stay neutral due to the difference in
religious beliefs between students and taxpayers. Banning school prayer has prevented many conflicts
of within the school system because of different religious

History of Breakdancing Essay example
B boying is a form of hip hop dancing, which is popularly known as breaking. It consists of top or up
rock, footwork, spinning moves (power moves), and freeze. B boying came from Bronx, NY. The term
quot;B boy quot; or quot;B boying quot; was created by Kool Herc who was a DJ spinning at block
parties in Bronx back in the days. B Boys means break boys and they were called so because they
dance to the break part of music. Later, by repeating this break part done by DJ, quot;breakbeats quot;
was born.
It was late 60s, early 70s when people started a sort of b boying. Their dancing was called quot;Good

B Boying (continued from Page 1)
However, breaking came back with a new generation of b boys. It was Puerto Rican b boys who put
new life to breaking and took it into next level. They started to put many higher levels of acrobatics
and gymnastics into breaking and invented many new moves. B boys such as Crazy Legs from Rock
Steady Crew who were influenced by Jimmy Lee and Joe Joe, members of original Rock Steady Crew
developed and invented the new moves such as backspins and windmills. Media stars like Bruce Lee
and other Kung Fu film stars and martial artists had a major influence on b boying culture. The
popularity of Kung Fu films during the mid and late 70s around the world and especially in New York
City has had a great impact on b boying style. A large number of martial arts moves were incorporated
into b boying.
B boying became even more popular in 80s. It was first introduced to out side of New York City and

Historiography of the Reconstruction Era
Riham Elshazli Professor Clement Price Civil War and the Reconstruction 12/11/12 Historiography of
the Reconstruction Era At a time when America was trying to piece itself back together, the
Reconstruction Era is one of the most important chapters in history. It is also, however, one of the
most debated. After the Civil War, the South was devastated and thousands of freed slaves needed to
be integrated into society. When Andrew Johnson took office, he was moderate in his views as to what
should happen to restore order to the United States. However, some Republicans had other plans in
mind. They wanted to impose harsher terms and used Congress to do so, justly giving them the name

Dunning s work popularized derogatory terms such as carpetbagger and scalawag. Soon, his academic
view of Reconstruction became the widespread view held by everyone around the country as movies
such as Birth of a Nation and Gone with the Wind became popular. These movies portrayed
Reconstruction as an era of tragic exploitation of the South by the North. They depicted blacks as
being ignorant and pathetic savages, upholding the picture that Dunning first painted. In short,
Dunning s theory had a massive impact on the way the average citizen viewed black people and
offered an excuse to continue to deny them their rights for years to come. It wasn t until the 1930s
when some historians, such as Vann C. Woodward, began to significantly challenge Dunning s
traditional view of Reconstruction. During 1910, there an attempt by W.E.B. Du Bois to counter his
opinion but the attempt did not hold. In Black Reconstruction in America, Du Bois argues that the
corruption spoken about was highly exaggerated and that Dunning overlooked many of
Reconstruction s achievements. Historians disregarded what Du Bois had to say because his use of the
Marxist theory and because he was seen as a radical at the time. It was not until 20 years later when
other historians, known as revisionists, began to echo Du Bois arguments. While these revisionists still
saw Reconstruction as a failure, they disagreed with Dunning

A pheromone is defined as a substance that causes a response in a natural behavioral response in
another animal of the same species. There are an abundant amount of pheromones presently. For
instance the alarm pheromones sex pheromones, food trail pheromones, and many others that affect
behavior. Pheromonal use among insects has been well documented, even though many plants and
vertebrates communicate using pheromones.
Pheromones are believed to be found throughout the world and have been traced back to the most
ancient form of animal communication. For example the word pheromones originated from the
Roman culture because it was believed soldiers had this intoxicating scent that attracted women. Yet in
fact it was the heavy musky smell ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Scientific studies have now shown that women are equally affected by pheromones from both sexes.
Women who usually experience short or long menstrual cycles get somewhat closer cycles after
regularly inhaling male essence which has been described as a certain amount of body odor, sweat,
and hormones. Females who have been exposed to other female pheromones for certain durations of
time whether it is months or years tend to have experienced relatively insync menstruated cycles after
few months. This study has confirmed a long disputed theory that females no matter what race or
relation menstruate at coinciding times. Over the last couple of decades pheromones have been
documented in over hundreds if not thousands of types of animals and insects. Yet, in most cases
particularly mammals there is an organ specialized in detection located in the inner parts of the nose or
inside the oral cavity. This organ is sometimes called the vomeronasal organ or when used around
scientists the VNO organ. There has been an abundance of evidence that say that human pheromones
really do exist. For example a newborn would preferably want a piece of clothing worn by its parents
or more so the mother because the pheromones of the mother is what the baby has known since the
beginning of its life. New experimental research suggests that both human

  • 3. Coffin, Urns, And Webcast Funerals By Edward Wong Funerals, like all industries, are changing with the times. The fact that funerals can be referred to as an industry shows just how much they have changed. At one time a funeral was a ritual that offered support to a community by allowing them to fall back on beliefs. Funerals now are less impactful. A funeral today is deritualized and rationalized. They are more of an obligation than a ritual for support. The article Coffin, Urns, and Webcast Funerals by Edward Wong is a perfect example of the deritualization of funerals. It gives examples of how funerals have become less interrupting and tragic. Just the idea of not having to physically be at a funeral to see it is deritualization. Jabil wanted Muhammad to preach Gods will and he was afraid, but then his family and friends convinced him to become a prophet. Mohammed was chosen to bring back the people to a religion of only worshiping one god. Over time the orally taught text was written down to be the Quran. The central theme of the Quran is monotheism. One reading this would assume that this building is just another church in Rome. In fact, the building that is described in this quote is the basilica of S Lorenzo fuori le mura; one of the six, so far discovered basilicas that are apse ended. Apart from this similarity, they all also have a lot of the dead buried within, under and around them, and are usually situated around catacombs. The reason these basilicas are so controversial is because scholars disagree ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It was a marketing ploy used by the early Christians to convert the pagans, as well as to make this new religion easier to accept and relate to. I also argue that the circus basilicas were based on the circuses as a way to remember the athletes of Christianity the martyrs that died in the circus for their cause; whose graves tended to be close to these basilicas, of not named after ... In order to boost demand, the Japanese government took a Keynesian approach and went through 10 fiscal stimulus packages in 1990 s totaling over 100 trillion yen (10). However, this didn t have the desired effect on demand because of deflation. Consumers were putting off purchase decisions because prices were falling. The real GDP stagnated and average growth between 1990 and 2001 was only 0.37% (12). The European debt crisis began in 2009 when rating agency s downgraded Greek government and bank debt because Greece s government debt reached 113% of GDP. This does not mean the board is terrible, it just means it was made cheaper so that more people can afford to buy it. Skateboards are the same way. The good brands of skateboard decks like Baker, Anti Hero, Plan B, Deathwish, etc... are normally $40 $60. Some examples will be given from the exercise to support the idea of how effective communication and good leadership can impact the work progress. Following there will be some recommendations of how the programme review meeting can be improved. 1.1 Reason for project/progrmme communication Communication is important because project management involves 70% to 80% communication and its value increases at programme level since there is often an increase in stakeholders, complexity, and delegation (Levin, 2012). This substantial amount of communication time would suggest that the importance of effective communication is needed in order to achieve objectives. Inefficient communication could result in time/cost overrun since information is not disseminate to the right person quickly or correctly and therefore is likely to create a knock on effect on time and cost. Effective communication can be also seen as a solution for some issues during management. Moderates believed that if blacks were given equal rights to whites then they could slowly pull themselves up by the bootstraps and gain socioeconomic equality to whites within several generations. Moderates also believed that giving blacks land would make them lazy, this they said would lead to blacks not farming. Moreover, they did not believe blacks deserved the land, because they had not worked for it. Essay Sylvia Plath s Lady Lazarus Sylvia Plath s Lady Lazarus In her poem, Lady Lazarus, Sylvia Plath uses dark imagery, disturbing diction, and allusions to shameful historical happenings to create a unique and morbid tone that reflects the necessity of life and death. Although the imagery and diction and allusions are all dark and dreary, it seems that the speaker s attitude towards death is positive. The speaker longs for death, and despises the fact the she is continually raised up out of it. From the title, Plath gives us immediately the theme of the poem. In lines 73 thru 78, the speaker says: Ash, ash You poke and stir. Flesh, bone, there is nothing there A cake of soap, A wedding ring, A gold filling. • 16. Teen Music And The Music Parents of teenagers fear one thing in particular: their music, especially the lyrical content. Teenagers find no issue in the music they listen to, and for good reason: just because the music may contain explicit or violent lyrics, research has disproven any conspiratorial links between the music and violent behavior. In fact, it can be used resourcefully instead, unless censorship removes that resource. Teen music, specifically hip hop and rap, should not be censored because the lyrics can be a useful teaching tool; society suffers from all forms of censorship; and no clearly proven link exists between violent teen behavior and urban music. Most teenagers are interested in some form of explicit music, because they feel like it speaks directly to them. As a result, educators have begun taking note of this and have begun to incorporate music, especially hip hop and rap, into their classes. Many hip hop artists write lyrics focused on their own experiences, in the hopes of inspiring someone else. Carla Stokes began using urban music when teaching students about gender and sexuality. When I started working with young people... themes around rap music repeatedly came up in the classroom... so I began using hip hop as a tool to stimulate conversations about gender and sexuality... One might be curious about the reasons it is popular, or more importantly, how did it come about. Called the canon of Scriptures, or a list , it is the compilation of biblical books regarded by Christians as uniquely authoritative (Klein, Blomberg, Hubbard, Jr., 1993, p. 103). It includes 66 books encompassing thousands of years of history, written in multiple genres, and authored by many individuals. Inclusion into the canon required the necessity of scripture to meet specific criteria. Careful study dictated what became standard for believers (Klein, Blomberg, Hubbard, Jr., 1993). A person s understanding of the canonization of the Bible will affect how they will view the validity and authoritativeness of God s Word. Old Testament In order to be declared acceptable to be included within the canon there are specific criteria that are considered for the Old Testament. One of the first questions asked by the curious reader is, Who authored the Old Testament? The easy and most appropriate answer to that important question is God. They depicted blacks as being ignorant and pathetic savages, upholding the picture that Dunning first painted. In short, Dunning s theory had a massive impact on the way the average citizen viewed black people and offered an excuse to continue to deny them their rights for years to come. It wasn t until the 1930s when some historians, such as Vann C. Woodward, began to significantly challenge Dunning s traditional view of Reconstruction. During 1910, there an attempt by W.E.B. Du Bois to counter his opinion but the attempt did not hold. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Scientific studies have now shown that women are equally affected by pheromones from both sexes. Women who usually experience short or long menstrual cycles get somewhat closer cycles after regularly inhaling male essence which has been described as a certain amount of body odor, sweat, and hormones. Females who have been exposed to other female pheromones for certain durations of time whether it is months or years tend to have experienced relatively insync menstruated cycles after few months. For example a newborn would preferably want a piece of clothing worn by its parents or more so the mother because the pheromones of the mother is what the baby has known since the beginning of its life.
