Production and Post Production   Production at AS consisted of filming 2 minutes of material using handcam cameras OR producing a front page, contents and dps of a music magazine. Post Production at AS consisted of editing your film opening on your chosen editing software, including adding titles, music, effects etc OR editing your images, using tools/effects on Photoshop and any changes you made after the 1 st  draft.
TASK You have  5 minutes  to brainstorm everything you did for your main product at  AS  at the stage of post-production.  This must be detailed  in terms of tools used, the software pros /cons, your strengths /weaknesses.

It also consisted of taking pictures and compiling track lists, credits etc for the ancillary tasks. Post production at A2 consisted of editing the music video, adding special effects, changing lighting, using transitions, matching shots to sound etc on your chosen editing programme e.g. Adobe premiere or I movie AND editing your photos, layout, font, colour etc on Photoshop for your ancillary tasks. Remember, post production will include any changes you made after the 1 st  draft was completed.

This must be detailed  in terms of tools used, the software pros /cons, your strengths /weaknesses. You should also detail your progression of graphics and DTP skills at stage of post production between AS and your A2 ancillary tasks.
You also have to remember that you produced and post produced work for both of your evaluations.  The main difference between AS and A2 for us is obvious – print to video but you might have used basic video post production software at AS for your evaluation answers. You must be able to evaluate these skills and think about everything that you have learned for your entire two pieces of coursework. Evaluations??

MEDIA LANGUAGE REPRESENTATION AUDIENCES INSTITUTIONS So if you were to state that you used Premiere’s dip to white tool as a transition you  need to explain why you did this  in terms of  communication/meaning/mode of address  for the audience.
E.g. “At the stage of post-production at A2, we used more advanced effects from Adobe Photoshop than at AS. I used the … tool to  connote  to the  audience … This  represents  my singer as….which is a  generic convention  of this type of music.
