- 1. Portrait Audience Feedback In order to determine the strengths and weaknesses of my final ten portrait images I gathered audience feedback through a survey consisting of five questions which I then distributed via the social media outlet Facebook, whilst also providing the participants with a link to a blog containing all ten images so that they can view the images. Do you feel these images are suitable for a music magazine? One of my main concerns was to ensure that the final images conformed to the brief and were suitable to feature in a music magazine, therefore I felt that asking this question was vital. As you can see in the chart below 100% of people who answered this survey felt that the images were suitable to feature in a music magazine. What do you think about the use of colour within the images? Due to the fact that one of my main focuses throughout this particular project was the colours and creating images which consisted of vibrant colours, I was curious to see what the audience thought about the colours within the images. As you can see from the chart below when given the options "very good, good, could be better or poor" 69% answered Very good and the remaining participants answered good, therefore suggesting that the vibrant colours within the images worked effectively.
- 2. What do you think about the composition of these images? I was also curious as to what the audience thought about the composition of the images. Again giving the same options as the previous question, with the audience responses being 69% answering very good and the remainder answering good. Which image do you like the best? I then asked the audience out of the ten images which one they liked the best. As you can see from the chart below the two most popular images were image 4 and 6 both of which were selected by just under 40% each, followed by image 7 which 23% selected. Both image 1 and 5 were selected too by a small percent of people.
- 3. Which image do you like the least? I then asked them to select the image they liked the least. As you can see below 30% of people selected image 2, followed by image 1 and 9 which were selected by 23% each. Image 4, 5 and 7 were also selected by a small percentage of people.
