Emma Upton conducted a survey about portrait images she had edited. For the first question, 50% thought the images looked correctly edited while 50% thought they were not over-edited. For the second question, 60% thought the colors fit but could be more vibrant, while 40% thought the colors looked correct. For the third question, 50% of respondents selected Image 6 as their favorite, which featured laughter and was the most emotive. For the fourth question, Images 4 and 10 received the most votes as least favorite, one due to less focus and the other featuring a non-serious pose. For the final question, 50% said her images maybe could be used in a rock magazine, while 33% said yes and

Portrait Survey Analysis
Question 1:
This is the first question I asked the public to answer. I asked if they thought my images
had been over-edited. I asked this to see if they thought my images looked great the way
I had edited them, or if I could have done better. From this we can see that 50%
answered they thought my images looked correct the way they had been edited. The
other 50% thought the images did not look over-edited. From this I think it shows that
the audience liked the images overall once edited, and this shows my images are edited
well. This shows my images are up to the correct and high standard.
Question 2:
Here is the second question I asked on my survey. I asked this to find out if the public
liked my choice of colours in my images, and if they thought they could be improved in
anyway. 60% thought the colour fit the images but could include a bit more colour or
vibrancy. However 40% thought that the colours looked correct for the images. I think
this shows that maybe my images were a bit washed out or drained of colour once I had
edited them. I think the colours work with my images, however if I were to improve on
them, I would make my images a bit more vibrant.

Question 3:
This is the third question I asked on my survey. I asked the audience which of
the images they liked the most and gave them the opportunity to give multiple
answers. 50% of the people who took my survey thought image 6, was their
favourite image, with image 1 and 5 coming in at a joint second. I think this
shows the audience liked more natural images, as image 6 is the image that
includes laughter and the most emotive image out of my series.

Question 4:
Here is my fourth question on my survey. I asked the public which of the images
they liked the least, or was their least favourite. Image 4 and image 10 got the
same results with 3 people each. I think this is the result for this question
because image 4, is the image with one of the models at the back being much less
in focus compared to the other models. Also, image 10 is the image where I asked
the models to stand in a not serious pose. I think this shows that the audience
liked my images where the models are more positioned seriously, and also
where they are all equally in focus.

Question 5:
My final question I asked the audience was if they thought my images could be used and
fit well in a rock music magazine. 50% answered maybe, 33% answered yes and 16.67%
answered definitely. I think these results show that my images are high quality enough
to be featured in a rock music magazine due to the fact no one answered no or, definitely
not. I think that because 50% answered maybe, means my images might need some
improvement before being featured in a rock music magazine.
