to Belgium in the summer to go to Europe’s biggest festival -
Tomorrowland. Brad also enjoys having nights out and going to gigs
with his friends to watch local bands and artists. When it comes to
indie music, Brad likes every band and artist there is in that genre.
Whether its Kings of Leon or Ben Howard, he enjoys the variety of
songs, lyrics and style of indie music.
Audience for my Media product
For my media product, I had the idea of creating a music magazine
for young people as they would know more about modern indie
music than people who are of a slightly older age. I wanted my
audience to range between the ages of 16-24 as I feel this is a
perfect rationale for a new modern music magazine. The magazine
itself is aimed for people who are interested in indie music, it will
offer interviews, articles, reviews, competitions, posters, quizzes
and much more. It will be simply produced for the audiences
benefit and will include things that indie music fans would want to
hear. I wanted my magazine to appeal to both genders therefore
there is no gender specific content within the magazine. This gives
me a larger sample of audience and will increase my popularity
within the ranges of music magazines.
