1) Scale-up is the process of designing a manufacturing plant based on data from a pilot plant model. It involves defining the product details, conducting preliminary laboratory and pilot plant studies, and evaluating the pilot plant results. 2) The steps in scale-up include defining product pricing and market projections, conducting preliminary equipment and process studies, designing and constructing a pilot plant with controls and waste handling, and evaluating the pilot plant results and economics. 3) Scale-up allows manufacturers to design an industrial-scale plant using data on the rate-controlling steps and results from a smaller pilot plant model.

are brought together for the manufacturing of the products.
● Scale-up:- The art for designing of prototype using the data obtained from the pilot
plant model.

competitive selling
