 Voltage control oscillator (VCO) – Generate

 Divider – Control multiplication of generated 
frequency from reference frequency 
 Loop filter/LP filter – Integrate/Averageing 
voltage from phase detector 
 Phase Detector (PD)– Compare feedback 
frequency and frequency generated by VCO. 
Produce voltage if the these frequency differ.
