What Are The Similarities Between The Lottery And The...
Have you ever partaken in a stoning? The Lottery and The Hunger Games both have very strong
points of violence throughout the text. Both of these popular stories have a similar purpose, to point
out problems in society. Then two stories are written in the same storyline of This is our tradition and
we stick to it . The Lottery and The Hunger Games are very different and very similar in who
announces, the lead character, and the process of drawing.
One similarity is both stories have an announcer. The announcer in The Hunger Games is Effie
Trinket. Effie is a famous woman that works for the Capitol. However, in The Lottery, the announcer
is Mr. Summers. Mr. Summers hosts practically every town event. Both of these announcers believe

Shakespeare Monarchy
This paper discusses William Shakespeare s work in relation to the monarchy that was in power
during the time of his existence. This analysis includes the writings that were directly related to the
queen and king of that time. Further, there is an analysis of how Shakespeare represented the entire
monarchy. On the reverse side of this part of the discussion, the paper will look at how the monarchy
viewed Shakespeare s work and the writer himself. The members of the society at the time of
Shakespeare also had their views about Shakespeare and these will be discussed as well as how
Shakespeare viewed the society.
William Shakespeare was born on 23rd April 1564 (Honan, 1998). He was an English playwright and
poet. People of his era and others after it regarded him as the greatest English writer and dramatist.
According to Dobson (1992), he is often referred to as the national poet of England. His work is
extensive and includes more than 38 plays, narrative poems and over 150 sonnets. Most of the early
works that he produced were mainly histories and comedies which he perfected and made more
sophisticated. Shakespeare s sonnets had three underlying themes. These were beauty s transience, life
s brevity and desire s trapping (Analysis of Shakespeare s Sonnets, n. d).
Shakespeare s lifetime lapsed during two monarchies. The first one was during the reign of Queen
Elizabeth I which ended in 1603. Upon her death, King James I took over the throne. He ruled for the

To give more value to the customer they even started providing financing and made the signing of the

Acquiring building sites in time, 40 item standard checklist , hiring right personnel to create a steady

model sequencing, partnering subcontractors in the process were some of the operations and supply

Patrol Encounter
On 09/02/2017, I, Dillon Dickerson, badge #155, was working as a Patrol Officer for the Wichita State
University Police Department, in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately 0327 hours I
was sitting in the Shocker Hall freight loading zone. I was facing northbound towards Perimeter road.
I noticed two black males driving eastbound on Perimeter road. I noticed the mini bike did not have
any front or rear lights on it. Also it looked like the bike was only made for one rider due to the second
male hanging a little bit off the back of the bike. I informed dispatch I would be complete at the

Writing Style Of Frankenstein
Mary Shelley writing style for the novel Frankenstein is very special as it is written in a creative
narrative point of view even though when reading it there are times when one can forget that Robert
Walton is the true singular narrator. Frankenstein is both a frame narrative and a story within a story,
the story within the story is seen through Walton telling of Victor s telling of the Creature s story.
Mary Shelley s writing style can clearly be seen in the novel with the letters from Robert Walton to his
sister in which you can see the narrative point of view, however as you continue to chapter one it
becomes hard to see that as it becomes the story within a story which then again happens when the
creature tell Victor about what he has been doing since he was created. All of theses events are told by
Walton yet it is hard to tell as the novel began to use words like I and my as if Victor was the narrator
for example I am by birth a Genevese, and my family is one of the most distinguished of that republic.
(19) which is describing Victor yet it seems as he is saying it. This can be seen throughout the main
part of the story but towards the end with You have read this strange and terrific story, Margaret...
(182) you can again see that Walton has been the narrator the whole time. Frankenstein is a novel that
is full of memorable quotes many of which have a much deeper meaning, one of the first ones is What

demonstrate their customer orientation by reference to at least two elements of the marketing mix.

In contrast to both there is Sales Orientation, (Dunnett, 2014) which would be defined as focusing on
the selling of the product. This prioritizes the selling of the product above the customers satisfaction.
This orientation relies on the sales team in the pushing of the product or service using aggressive sales
techniques to achieve high profits. Here the assumption that sale prices that are high in value equate to
substantial profit. In comparison with customer orientated corporations where the customers needs and
wants are met, the firm will focuses a lot less on the satisfaction of the customer as it is presumed that
high value equals satisfaction. So the customer will get high value but that might not necessarily be
what the customer is looking for. This is where the sales teams responsibility lies; they need to sell
using aggressive sales techniques. Cold calling about PPI (PPICLAIMSADVICE, 2014) claims would
be an example where a service is promoted for free to claim money for you, the value lies in the fact it
s free but it s a service not many people need. If they fail to see what the customer wants it ll in the
long term ultimately lead to customer dissatisfaction, loss of customer, loss of profit, and Leading the
firm ultimately to bankruptcy.

Dillard Reflection
The moth shook its sodden clumps of wing (Dillard 160). A quote as powerful as this one captures the
depth of Dillard s views, which have a crippling effect on her outlook towards life. Dillard s
environment is similar to that of the moth s, a limited amount of space to grow and prosper. Growth is
a factor Dillard sees as extremely important in life, as she tries to learn a vast amount of information.
Dillard has experiences in her memoir that mold who she is and what she has become. In many ways,
I too reflect on similar experiences that mold who I am and what I have become overtime. Dillard and
I experience a crippling environment and a pursuit to try and learn everything. As a child, Dillard is
aware of her own open mindedness and perceptive abilities. A special memory that sticks out to her
most is when she sees a Polyphemus moth crippled by a glass jar too small. Dillard compares this
moth in a crippling environment to her own life in Pittsburgh, which is far too small. Pittsburgh is
unable to hold the dreams that Dillard has. Normal dreams of girls of wealth in Pittsburgh are
marrying the elite boys, who will go on to run the big companies in Pittsburgh. These big company
boys do not interest Dillard, she has a dream to explore and use her knowledge for something bigger.
A moment like this is a crucial turning point in Dillard s life because it represents an image for her to
look at. This moth, described as a deformed creature, is impactful because the moth walks

The Three Types Of Underdevelopment Theory
The third theory is underdevelopment theory. This theory have explain three types of country which is
core, semi periphery and periphery country. Immanuel Wallerstein also classificies the positions of
country, which is based on the developed and developing countries according to their economics in the
global level. This theory is about the capitalist world economy that means the people or the rich
country who have the control of economy in certain places or a country (Sorinel, 2010). This level can
be divided into core (rich country), semi periphery (developing country) and periphery (poor country)
(Sorinel, 2010). This theory show that how the capitalist or rich country manage the economy of the
semi periphery and the periphery country. This types have their own function in this theory. For the
core country, the people transform raw materials into consumers goods with the use of modern
technology and large amount of capital. Core country can be called as production or economic center
(Wallerstein, 1974). In semi periphery country or developing country, this country is like buffer zone
between the core and pheriphery country. This country being exploited by the core while the country

Introduction to psychological warfare
Never underestimate the effects of psychology in wars, it can make or break both the ally and
opponent. As a person who lived in a country that lived by the propaganda every day for almost thirty
years, I only catch glimpse of it when I was young. Nowadays, it is like another battle not in field, but
in the media.
According to the Dictionary, the definition of psychological warfare is, The use of propaganda,
threats, and other psychological techniques to mislead, intimidate, demoralize, or otherwise influence
the thinking or behavior of an opponent.
It is misbelieved that the psychological warfare is a modern invention, but in fact it goes back to
ancient times. It was used in several wars against Greeks, Babylon, and Athens.
There three categories of psychological warfare operations according to Daniel Lerner, in his book.
They are white propaganda, grey propaganda and black propaganda. The white one is truthful and not
strongly biased, where the source of information is acknowledged. While grey containing no
information that can be proven wrong; the source is not identified. Finally black one which is
essentially deceitful, information given in the product is accredited to a

Ashbe comes by and sits with John to hide from the manager from Screw Inn where she had just
stolen two ash trays. The two begin to talk and John doesn t want anything to do with a thief. Asbe
becomes defensive and tells John she is not a thief but more like a Robin Hood making it seem as
what she did or does is right. Asbe also realizes that he had a red card that he put in his pocket which

should with his life. Ashbe calls him a sheep and this makes John mad with him immediately saying
that he is not a sheep and he does what he wants. Ashbe then proceeded to call him a normal sheep

Bernie Madoff s Unethical Behavior
Bernie Madoff is a perfect example of how unethical behavior can turn into corruption. Madoff, a
former investment and stockbroker, was formally introduced to the world as the sole operator in the
largest Ponzi scheme on record. Madoff turned his financial management company into a colossal
Ponzi scheme that swindled billions, from thousands of his investors. According to federal
investigators, Madoff s Ponzi scheme began as early as the 1980 s and continued to operate under
sheer deception and utter lies. Madoff s powerful presence, narcissism, voracity and unethical
behavior had him pleading guilty to eleven federal offenses, including: wire fraud, securities fraud,

In this case, it appears that Madoff had many friends and family members who were involved in the
fraud. Speculate about how likely it is that Madoff s own sons, who were employees of the firm, knew
nothing of the fraud as they stated.
Madoff s sons were highly suspected of being aware of the fraud, but they both adamantly denied this,
and charges were never brought because one son killed himself while the other died of cancer. A
federal investigation was on the cusp of charging the son who died of cancer with tax evasion
resulting from the Ponzi scheme before his death this year it was reported.
4. Explain the ethical issues that are associated with running a family owned business. Are these issues
present within Madoff s firm?
Ethical issues associated with running a family owned business, is a lack of checks and balances,
because of familial ties. In Bernie Madoffs case, many of the primary people in the business were
family members such as his chief compliance officer, which is supposed to reassure investors that
everything is as it should be. Madoff s chief compliance officer was his niece, Shana Madoff. In
addition, she had married a former employee of the US Securities and Exchange Commission who had

Adoration Of The Magi And Bruegi Analysis
The two paintings Adoration of the Magi, by Botticelli, and Peasant wedding, by Pieter Bruegel the
Elder are both Renaissance art works made in the 14th and 15th centuries. Botticelli completed the
Adoration of the Magi during the Italian Renaissance. The piece was commissioned by Cosimo de
Medici and encaptures the Medici family witnessing the birth of Jesus Christ. Likewise, Pieter
Bruegel the Elder completed the painting Pheasant Wedding in 1567, which is a depiction of the local
pheasant s daily lifestyle and the simple pleasures it had to offer. Although at first the two pieces of
artwork may appear to be similar in style, they contain several subtle differences because of the era
they came from. For example, Botticelli ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With their family and friends blissfully dining, the peasants depicted in Peasant Wedding manifest the
simple Lutheran religion that was being innovated at the time. The two paintings contrast in this way
because of the indistinct and undeniable religious backgrounds the paintings have.
Although there are many singularities in between the Northern and Southern Renaissance styles there
are distinct similarities in the two artistic communities. One similarity is the the belief in Humanism
that is represented in both the Adoration of the Magi and Peasant Wedding. Humanism is the belief
that stresses the potential value and goodness of human beings and was innovated in both the Italian
and Northern Renaissance. This belief can be seen in the painting Peasant Wedding by the way that
Bruegel the Elder illustrates the congregation of people that had attended the wedding. Likewise, in
The Adoration of the Magi, Botticelli communicates his belief in Humanism by the way he precisely
draws each person in the painting. The two paintings portray the Humanist beliefs through the precise
details in which they paint each person and indicates that they have faith and trust in the human race.
In southern Renaissance artwork, the subject matter was usually centered and results in drawing the
eyes attention to a certain focal point. Conversely, in northern renaissance art, the placement of the

Analysis Of Kwame Anthony Appiah Racial Identities
Differences Among Differences In his essay, Racial Identities , Kwame Anthony Appiah addresses the
topic of racial identification. He describes how and why it s hard not to identify someone based on
their race. Today in the United States, racial identification is quite relevant. People judge and
stereotype others based on race. Classifying people based on their looks isn t bad, it s the negative
attitudes and labels that come with it. Racial identification is hard for most people to avoid, is
detrimental due to the bad attitudes people have, negatively affects people s lifestyles, and divide
people. Racial identification is harder than ethnic identification for most people to avoid. To explain
this, in Racial Identities in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, in an article titled Inequality, Race, and Remedy for The American Prospect, Alan
Jenkins states Poor people of color are also increasingly more likely than whites to find themselves
living in high poverty neighborhoods with limited resources and limited options (Jenkins). This
illustrates that an individual s race can completely affect their home, job, financial situation, and
overall way of life. According to this article, person of color has a higher chance at living in poverty
than a white person does. This example shows that colored people aren t given as many opportunities
and as a result, it may be harder for them to succeed in life. The oppression they face is all because of
the color of their skin, not because they are any less smart or human than others. The poor lifestyle is a
result of racial identification and false labeling. People automatically stereotype and judge black
people because of their skin color and often times it has a negative outcome.
Focusing so much on an individual s race usually doesn t help people come together. In an ebook titled

I Think Ktm Dirt Bikes Are Better Than Yamaha Dirt Bike
I think KTM dirt bikes are better than Yamaha dirt bikes. KTM might not sell as many in the United
States compared to Yamaha, but if you look at an international race you will see that 90% of the
athletes ride KTMs. The KTM is built in Austria, where the Yamahas are built in Japan. Both
companies build both track and trail bikes, and two strokes and four strokes. KTMs are famous for
their crazy power from their two stroke line. Yamaha is known for producing good, reliable four stroke
bikes. KTM was founded back in 1934 by Hans Trunkenpolz but didn t start large production and
sales of motorcycles until 1981. Yamaha was founded in 1955 by a group of people from Japan, they

The KTM also comes equipped with a self adjusting hydraulic clutch that works amazing, the clutch is
very smooth and powerful. Now compare it to the Yamaha s old school cable clutch, which is
relatively smooth, but can sometimes get hung up in the cable housing, or the cable gets stretched out
and needs to be replaced often. The KTM comes stock with billet hubs, these are amazing hubs that
are super smooth rolling and relatively low maintenance. The reason that I like the KTM better than
the Yamaha is because I have both brand bikes. I ride the KTM the most because I like the way it feels
and the massive amount of power behind it. It is a fast, nimble bike great for both motocross and
enduro. I have also worked on both bikes and can say that the KTM is far easier to work on. The
Yamaha is still a good bike, but the KTM is just better in my opinion. The Yamaha is kind of an old
bike now; they haven t changed the frame or the engine since 2006 when they did a whole makeover
to the bike. The suspension has had some tuning in the recent years, they upgraded to SSS suspension
and added some wider foot pegs. The biggest thing that they upgraded for this year were the graphics
that were looking kind of old. Some people will argue that the Yamaha is a bit more reliable than the
KTM is, and I will have to agree with that. Since the Yamaha is an older bike, they have some of the
bugs worked out of it and the

Comparing Allopathic and Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatments of LBP 2
Abstract
Low back pain (LBP) is an issue that affects patients, healthcare professionals, and society on a global
scale. With advancements in allopathic medicine, LBP is better managed than ever before however, its
methodologies in diagnosing and treating LBP and its results are inconsistent. For this reason, many
patients and healthcare professionals are turning to alternative treatments such as traditional Chinese
medicine, which is now considered one of the leading treatments of LBP.
This study explores LBP treatment methodologies used in allopathic medicine and traditional Chinese
medicine (TCM). The research of Dr. Frank (1995) are examined further in order to gain more
understanding of the TCM methodology and its relationship with LBP. Additionally, this study aims to
convey what the holistic, low cost approach of TCM has to offer and to better understand the use and
effectiveness of acupuncture and herbology in the treatment and prevention of LBP.

Laissez Faire Vs. State Intervention
1800s: Laissez faire vs. State Intervention
What does, exactly, laissez faire mean? According to the Oxford dictionary, this French term means
literally allow to do , however, in nineteenth century Britain, this word was used to define a new
policy of non intervention in free market affairs by governments, in order to allow things to follow
their own course without any external help, as suggested from some of the most famous economists of
the era, as Adam Smith, his followers Thomas Robert Malthus and David Ricardo, or Samuel Smiles.
These economists believed in a hands off approach of self help, as it can be seen from their written
works. For example, Samuel Smiles (1859) wrote: Even the best institutions can give a man no active
help. Perhaps, most they can do is, to leave him free to develop himself and improve his individual
condition. Basically, they strongly believed in the idea of the self made man , capable of becoming

The First Document By Chinggis Khan
The first document is a letter written by Chinggis Khan in 1219 Common Era (C.E.) to Changchun. In
this letter, Chinggis writes to him requesting a meeting with him. However, he also critiques on how
his empire is better than China. He states that China has been abandoned by the heaven because of the
state of luxury China has been living. Further, this has a negative impact on China s society and
believes that if they leave luxury behind the Chinese would be able to live in a better state and conquer
more land. A theme explored in this document is how ruler uses techniques to expand their lands.
Before Chinggis Khan become the well known leader of Mongolia, he was known as Temujin and he
was a son of a father that was murder. While growing up, he had to know to hunt and gather food for
his family. Still, has an adult, Chinggis used this as a technique to conquer land in Eurasia. In the
letter, Chinggis writes [b]ut, I living in the northern wilderness, have not inordinate passions. I hate
luxury and exercise moderation. Since he grew up in the north, he knew the basic guidelines to
survive. If he had never adopted the lifestyle of not wanting luxury, he would had never been able to
conquer lands that stretched from the China, Persia, and even parts of Russia. Furthermore, Chinggis
was able to conquer land because he was able to fight for it, [a]t military exercises I am always in the

Advantages Of Privatization Of Air Traffic Control In Usa
Privatize air traffic control in USA
Introduction
Air traffic control involves the directing of aircraft on the ground through the use of airspaces and
advising the planes in non controlled skies. Currently, control of air traffic in the United States is done
by the federal aviation administration. The current President Donald Trump has proposed to privatize
the exercise. Moving the task to a non profit organization will benefit America in various ways. Most
importantly, it will modernize equipment s and training making the process more efficient.
Additionally, it will ensure a more stable funding for the operation thus enhancing sufficient security.
From the benefits of privatization of air traffic control in the USA, it is imperative that the legislators
fully support the move.
Discussion
Privatization of air traffic control in the United States will significantly contribute to the
modernization of the system. With the current management of air traffic control by the federal aviation
(FAA) administration, it is impossible to modernize the system. FAA can easily be manipulated by
politicians since they are not independent institutions thereby making it possible to move agenda of
the organization forward. For instance, embezzlement of funds is likely making it almost impossible
to purchase modern equipment s that can help in the running of the systems. However, allowing the
process to be controlled by a non profit organization will enhance

The Libya Conflict
I. Introduction: The United States has been the super power in the world for the past several decades
and this has been mainly due to so many reasons ranging from technology, economic, political and
military strength and implication of their foreign policy. However, due to various roles the United
States played in most international events that occurred in the world, they have been referred to as the

of their foreign policy created after the Civil War are: 1) The United States intervention in Libya

Theu.s. Government s Department Of Child Safety
1. Introduction
1.1. Problem statement and background
The foster care system in the U.S was created with the purpose of providing a safe temporary place for
those children under the age of 18 who could not remain with their biological parents because the
parents are unable, unwilling or unfit to care for the child and guarantee. Sometimes the child is able
to return to their parents, however, many times the child is not and a new permanent home has to be
found to guarantee the safety of the child. Many years ago this would have been done informally by a
neighbor, a close friend of the family, a family member, a church, or an orphanage. However, due to
the development of larger urban societies with more complex social problems, the U.S ... Show more

Her idea was to make sure that every child placed in the foster care system would receive appropriate
care regardless of their background, past history or specific challenges. As part of their mission
statement, this non profit agency s main focus is to recruit, train and support every family interested in
adopting or fostering a child under Department of Child Safety s (DCS) custody.
In 2003, AASK went through an important transition after a needs assessment was completed by
Social Venture Partners, one of the funders for the agency. They were able to identify some of the
external and internal factors affecting the agency, including their leadership and operational
deficiency. As a result, AASK s Board Members requested that Ron Adelson be appointed the new
Chief Executive Director, with hopes he would lead the agency to success. For the last 12 years, and
thanks to his Business Administration background, AASK has become the largest agency in the state
licensed by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES). Ron Adelson has been able to lead
the agency, understand the numbers and the issues around the foster care system, and advocate for the
children under DCS custody.
AASK continues to focus on ensuring all of the children in the Arizona foster care system have a
family relationship while they go through a difficult time in their lives.

Rapper Lupe Fiasco And Vocalist Skylar Grey
The song I chose for this analysis is words I never said by rapper Lupe Fiasco and vocalist Skylar
Grey. The song was recorded in late 2010 but was later released on February 8, 2011. It ranked 89th
on the billboards 100 at the time of its released. It was not as high ranked as other songs in it genre but
I served its purpose in my opinion. In some aspects it was infamous for its out of the bod views on the
American president, foreign policy, etc. unfortunately this song hasn t been included in any shows or
films that I know of, but according to Wikipedia, the song was used as a theme song for the internet
hacker group Anonymous. This song was Lupe Fiascos way of expressing his dislike of the current
United States government. He uses many controversial subjects like terrorism and foreign policy to
get his point across. By doing so he shows his listeners the corruptness of the country. For example in
his song he states crooked banks around the world would gladly give a loan today, so if you ever miss
a payment they can take your home away. (Fiasco) in this part of his song, he explains to us how
corrupt banks scheme to make a quick profit at the expense of one of their customers who can t afford
it. The song was written as a wakeup call for the people. Lupe has realized that people have the power
to say what they want but are silenced by the government. He tries to show this to the people in the
choirs with the phrase, it s so loud inside my head, with

Disobedience as a Psychological and Moral Problem
DISOBEDIENCE AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL AND MORAL PROBLEM 2
Disobedience as a Psychological and Moral Problem Erich Fromm
Erich Fromm s essay Disobedience as a Psychological and Moral Problem suggests that humankind s
evolution has, and continues to rely on man s capability to exercise disobedience. While discussing the
positions of disobedience being considered a vice, and obedience being a virtue, Fromm reflects upon
the history of Adam and Eve believing that eating the forbidden fruit was man s first act of
disobedience. This is the point that broke the bond between man and nature requiring man to be
dependant upon his own powers, while rewarding him with his complete humanity, freedom, ... Show

He adds to this by introducing the concepts of rational and irrational authority, explaining that rational
authority would be equivalent to that of a teacher and student whereby there is mutual benefit, while
irrational authority would be identified by the likes of a slave and his owner who demonstrates
complete disregard of the slave s happiness or well being, his only interest being how the slave will
benefit him. Through a veil of lies man obeys the State, the Church, the mass opinions of their peers,
or any other organization that they view to be in power. This affords him a false sense of safety and
protection. In his obedience, man feels strong allowing him to be controlled by the fear of being
isolated or having undesirable repercussions greet him as a result of any disobedience. Throughout
history it has been evident that, for the most part, the few in power have ruled over the majority. The
foundation of this relationship has been the few equating obedience with virtue and disobedience with
sin, resulting in man not only needing to obey, but wanting to obey. Man s inability to see that he has
lost his ability to disobey and stand up for what he believes and values, instead of what he has been
brainwashed to believe and value, will inevitably ensure the destruction of all civilization at the hand
of man. Man s only saving grace will be his ability to realize

The Island Of The Galapagos Archipeggio
Isabela Island, the largest island of the Galápagos archipeggio, seemed to rise straight out of the water.
The sedimentary rock cliffs were rusty brown, but were covered with life. Red and black crabs rested
on the surface, while blue footed boobies gracefully dived into the water to catch sardines. Baby nazca
boobies peered out of their nests to see a small inflatable boat, known as a panga, bobbing in the
water. Our guide, Christina, enthusiastically shared her knowledge of these animals to my family. This
wildlife viewing boat ride was our plan for the afternoon. But things changed. As things always
change.
The sun was starting to set in the west, over the Bolivar Channel. The sea seemed calm, but a bird
would occasionally skim the surface. My family and I watched the horizon intently. The Bolivar
Channel was known for having the best marine wildlife viewings in the Galápagos. In the far distance,
water was displaced. Mist flew in the air, forming the shape of a miniature fountain. Could it be a
whale spout? Or was it just my imagination? Quietly, I told my sister Raley. However, it was not quiet
enough. Christina heard and immediately started to scour the area with her binoculars. What if there
was no marine life in the area? I was convinced I would die of embarrassment.
Suddenly, Christina dropped her binoculars.
I see it! It s a whale spout!
Immediately, our panga raced off full speed to the location of the whale spout. However, as we inched

The period of United States history in which Thornton Wilder published his pulitzer prize winning

population was slowly transitioning from a rural farm life to an urban city life. This led to a doubling
in the nation s total wealth from 1920 to 1929 which generally led to a wealthier and higher class

Dermal Fillers Research Paper
What is a Dermal Filler
There are a number of factors which can impact your skin s appearance: sun exposure, hormonal
changes and aging all can play a part in your skin losing Hyaluronic acid and collagen. Once this starts
to happen your skin is more prone to fine lines, wrinkles and a loss of fullness and elasticity.
The good news is that Serene Radiance has a range of dermal fillers that can reverse these signs of
aging by filling in lines and restoring lost volume while enhancing your facial contours and lips for
natural looking results.
All our dermal fillers are Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring sugar
found in your body. When it combines with the water that exists in your skin it instantly smoothes
lines and wrinkles, restores lost volume in the cheeks and jaw line and can also enhance your lips.

Fall Of The Jin Dynasty
Following the fall of the Hans dynasty in 220 C.E., China divided into three separate kingdoms known
as the Three Kingdom Era. Powerful families and warlords who were in a constant battle against each
other led the north, south, and west. In addition to these battles, disease and natural disasters also took
an extensive toll on China. The battles continued for years and then in the year 280 C.E., a general
under the Jin dynasty from the north managed to defeat the south and west for a short time. The Jin
dynasty produced 25 sons who after his death began to battle each other for the power to control the

Southern China did not experience the same fate as northern China but they did have power struggles
during the Age of Disunity. The years 220 589 C.E. was known as the Age of Disunity in which
Nomads were constantly invading China. In the midst of all the turmoil, Buddhism spread throughout

Benefits Of A Laptop Or A Desktop Computer
As you are reading this essay, you are most definitely using a piece of technology whether a laptop or

technology scientists discover new amazing features that later get implanted into our daily used
electronics. These days, one of the most known technology companies like Microsoft and Apple,

different structure of coding, to the same purpose of creating a type of style people feel most

Questions On Organizational Operating Environments
1. Compare the 2008 top 5 IT management concerns (Luftman et al) and the 2013 top 5 IT
management concerns (Kappelman et al). What concerns have changed in importance? Are there any
new concerns? In your opinion, what changes in organizational operating environments have resulted
in the differences in the priority of concerns? Please justify your answers.
Answer:
Aligning the IT process with business has been one of the top most concern in all the surveys
conducted in past 11 years. It holds true in 2008 as well as in 2013. Out of all the participants 92.6%
of the people have opined that aligning IT with business is important as per the survey conducted in
2008. In 2013 though still in the top five concerns there was a lots of progress ... Show more content

The third issue was that the organizations have to realize the importance of working for each other and
the fourth and final issue was that the organizations have to go beyond the fact that upgrading IT
infrastructure alone wouldn t solve the problem. In 2013 it is clearly realized that transformation and
alignment is not just a one time activity, it is a repetitive activity.
The second in the list of management concerns in 2008 is Building Business Skills where as in 2013
Business Agility took the position. In the year 2008 the norm for an individual s qualifications in the
business organization were looked at in a different perspective. Having rich technical expertise alone
was not sufficient, rather having a balanced set of technical and non technical skills were
recommended. This ensure that the associates hired by the company are not just code generators but
also business professionals who can see value and profits in the day to day business. Having such a
skill set can also help the individuals understand and implement technology in a better way that suits a
modern day business environment. In 2013, things have changes and Business agility was ranked as a
higher concern. Business agility denotes the capacity of a company to not just understand the

Fifth Business Character Analysis
Fifth Business is the first book of Robertson Davies Deptford Trilogy. The novel is a memoir of
Dunstable Ramsay, the protagonist, in the form of a letter to the school s headmaster. Many characters
play a huge significant role in Dunstable s life as he develops, however, many of those people are
women. Leading examples of this are Fiona Ramsay, his mother; Mary Dempster, the woman who

and she gives birth to her premature baby, Paul Dempster. Dunstable is forever filled with guilt
although he had no control whatsoever when the incident occurred. This guilt eventually leads to
Dunstable developing feelings for Mary Dempster, even though she is ten years older than him. His
loyalty for Mary Dempster is at the same degree as his mother, or perhaps more. When Dunstable is at
the Third Battle of Ypres, he loses his leg after he takes down German snipers. While Dunstable lies
down wounded, he sees Mary Dempster s face on the statue of The Little Madonna. But what hit me
worse than the blow of shrapnel was that the face was Mrs. Dempster s face . (Davies, 74) Almost half
a year after, he wakes up from a coma in a hospital where he meets his nurse, Diana Marfleet. He

person that he grows to be. Furthermore, when Mary Dempster s illness aggravates, aunt Bertha who

Ethnographic Paper: Differences in Study Habits by Gender at King Library
A library, by definition, is a place set apart to contain books, periodicals, and other material for
reading, viewing, listening, study, or reference, as a room, set of rooms, or building where books may
be read or borrowed (Merriam Webster). However, for students at Miami University, the word library
may have different connotations. After asking several fellow students the first word that comes to
mind when someone talks about the library, the responses I received varied from the expected books ,
study , and focus , to more personal emotions such as sad and depressed . King Library, named for
longtime library director and benefactor Edgar Weld King, has been the largest library and main
scholarly hub at Miami University since 1966. Open 24 hours a day, you are bound to see students
studying, socializing, or even sleeping at any given hour of the day in King. Comprised of four floors,
including the basement, students are expected to meet the noise level expectations of each floor;
students should anticipate a more relaxed and loud experience in the basement whereas the third floor

Orthodontic Braces Research Paper
Orthodontic braces are more beneficial than clear aligners because they work on even the most
complex issues. A deep bite is a case of a complex orthodontic issue, Dr. Matthew Wiring from Wiring
Orthodontics states that A deep bite is when the upper teeth completely overlap and cover the lower
teeth. This can be a severe problem if the lower teeth hit the roof of the mouth (Wiring par. 7). This
suggests that in a certain case of a deep bite, orthodontic braces are the best method to treat this
situation. The alignment of the upper and lower teeth would fall under a category that traditional
braces are able to fix because braces would pull the teeth forward back into proper alignment with the
help of elastics and other orthodontic appliances. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the jaw is small, teeth may grow in crowded or crooked... if there is too much space in the jaw, the
teeth may drift out of place (Holht par. 4). Malocclusion, or a bad bite, can be categorized as an
orthodontic complex issue because it can cause severe consequences. Fortunately, malocclusion can
be treated with traditional orthodontic braces because they work slowly to shift the teeth in the correct
position, thus fixing the alignment of the jaw. Realigning the upper and lower jaws back into place is
difficult. Despite this, orthodontic braces are recommended as they would treat this issue. Alignment
of the teeth is also a complex orthodontic issue, Dr.Steven M. Dater from Steven M. Dater Dentistry
suggests that Braces can fix the position of the teeth, as well as correcting the bite. Braces are the best
option if you are dealing with a severe bite problem, or other complex treatment is needed (Dater par.

the teeth back into place.Crowding of the teeth, or too many teeth in a certain place, cause the teeth to

Theme Of The Revolution In The Minerva
Minvera Mirabal stood as a symbol of revolution to those who wanted to see the downfall of Rafael
Trujillo. Her and two of her three sisters were advocates of the revolution until the sad ending of the
story in which the three sisters were killed in a car crash. But before the ending of the Mirabal sisters
can be discussed, the life of Minerva and the point she developed her political principles must be
addressed. As a young child, Minerva Mirabal always spoke her mind, despite her mother s wishes
that she would bite her tongue but Minerva would argue that women deserve to have a voice in their
country, the Dominican Republic, as well. The time in which this story is set is during the regime of
Rafael Leonidas Trujillo, a strict dictator with suffocating policies. Brutal oppression of actual or
perceived members of any opposition was the main focus of Trujillo s rule. If any person spoke out
against Trujillo, they were almost immediately assassinated. However, young Minerva possessed
strong opinions mostly about the treatment of women, but this would eventually change to become a
complete revolt against Trujillo and his policies. Minerva s coming of age was over a period of time
and the biggest change wasn t directly stated in the novel. Sinita and Lio both played major roles in
pushing Minerva to revolt against Trujillo, Sinita passionately telling Minerva of the cruelties of
Trujillo and how it affected her family and Lio being a young professor at the university that

Fear Of Madness In Hamlet
Madness, and fear of madness, are the driving factors behind the plot and character interactions in the
play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. By the end of the play, almost every main character ends up
dead as a result of the hysteria or indecisiveness of other characters. As more and more tragic events
and countless deaths occur, each character is forced to find a coping mechanism. Some succumb to the
pressure, like Ophelia, who goes mad and drowns after her father dies, but others attempt to hide the
effect the pressure has on them, like King Claudius. A deeper examination of Claudius s emotions and
behaviors reveal that his psychological state is in truth severely damaged and has taken a toll on his

motivation for pursuing Hamlet s murder. The more Hamlet pushes his buttons, the more Claudius

The Pros And Cons Of Canadian Culture
To start with, China, which scores 80 on IDX, ranks higher than Canada by 41 points. This highlights
the fact that the society views inequalities among people as a normal thing and the subordinate
superior relationship tends to be polarized which leaves no space for defense against power abuse.
Rigid hierarchy with formal authority influence individuals, and they believe in the capacity to lead
and control of their own leaders. It is a society in which people are expected to stay at exactly where
they are placed. In contrast, Canadian culture believe that everyone should receive equal rights and be
treated equally. Similar to countries that score low on this aspect, Canadians build their hierarchy for
convenience. Managers are approachable, and are expected to consult and exchange information with
their staff members as they work as a team. Straightforward exchange of information is also preferred.
In terms of individualism (IDV), Canadian culture is considered as an individualist one in which
people look after themselves and their immediate families. For that reason, self reliance and initiatives
are vital in the workforce. Hiring and promotion decisions are primarily based on one s merit and
competence. On the other hand, scoring very low on this dimension, it can be said that China is a
highly collectivist culture where people focus on group interest rather than self interest. Hiring and
promotion decisions can be based on how close an individual is to the superior

His real name and date of birth are unknown despite repeated false reports, hoaxes and attempts to
uncover the information. His work shows up on public surfaces, the sides of buildings and walls
throughout the world. Art auctioneers sell this much in demand street art at high prices. His work
usually comes with an anti establishment or anti war message. Rats, police, soldiers and the elderly are
often included in his art. His first film Exit Through the Gift Shop received an Academy Award
nomination in 2011. The 2014 Webby Awards honored him as person of the year. But who is the artist,
activist, and filmmaker whose work led to the Banksy effect? And why is his work so sought after?
Trained as a Butcher
According to the book Home Sweet Home by author, graphic designer and friend Tristan Manco,
Banksy was born in 1974 and grew up in Bristol, England. Manco also wrote that Banksy trained as a
butcher but became involved in the Bristol underground scene during the late 1980s aerosol boom.
The scene involved collaborations with musicians and artists. Banksy himself has said that his work
was inspired by graffiti artist Robert Del Naja, also known as 3D and a founding member of the band
Massive Attack. Art critics and observers have compared Banksy s work to Blek le Rat, whose real
name is Xavier Prou and who is known as the father of stencil graffiti.
In the early 1990s, Banksy started as a freehand graffiti artist, using stencils as elements in his pieces.

Whisper Of The Heart Comparison
Studio Ghibli is known for its strong depiction of its female characters so I nicknamed you after one
of them. In each film, the female protagonists go on a journey where they are judged on their strength
of character, integrity and skills, similar to what you are going through during the new member
process. At the end of the journey, each character becomes stronger and grows as a person. I can t wait
to witness the things you accomplish throughout your college career and I hope to be there to support
you every step of the way. Shizuku is the main character from the film Whisper of the Heart, which is
a simple yet intricate film that depicts a coming of age story encompassing topics like friendship,
ambition, and dreams. In the film, Shizuku is usually seen hanging out with two of her closest friends.
The trio are supportive of each other as they are preparing for their high school entrance exams. Like
Shizuku, you can find support in your line sisters as the three of you complete the new member
process and continue to support each other through your academic career and personal goals. ... Show

Although you don t get really angry, you remind of Shizuku when you are ranting about the things you

notices that all the library books she borrowed had previously been checked out by the mysterious
Seiji Amasawa. It turns out that Seiji admired Shizuku and tried to get her attention by putting his
name in every book in the library. Similar to how Seiji was drawn to Shizuku, I was drawn towards

Softball Season Research Paper
The perfect day for softball is on a glistering, hot summer day. As a softball player you get to
experience, experiences most individuals do not. As a team we go to the batting cages an hour before
the game starts to warm up batting and our arms. During this time we listen to music to get us pumped
up for our game and have a team bonding session. When the game starts at six, we line up out on the
field together getting our names announced and listen to the National Anthem being sung. After the
National Anthem we separate to our positions and the game begins. The crowd goes wild, teammates,
family, and coaches all throughout the game. Standing on the softball field in 80 to 100 degree
weather, the sun, beaming down on you making you burn like a tomato. Not only do you sweat, when

and throughout the game. When you are up to bat, your teammates chant cheers and sing the
traditional songs, since the kindergarten league. While they are singing the songs and cheering it
makes yourself feel confident and knowing you have support from your team. The sound only
yourself can hear, your heart racing, beating rapidly waiting for the pitch in the batter s box. I have
intense nerves waiting for the ball to come over home plate as I watch the ball make contact with the

Analysis of Academic Dishonesty Essay
Abstract
The easier, softer way is not the road less traveled. In this paper, I plan to use myself as a case study
for a look inside the mind of a cheater. I will start out with a definition of academic dishonesty given
by our school and hope to go through some valid excuses used by people who cheat. I will also look at
how further complications and confusion arises by students and teachers perception of themselves and
their role in the problem. I will address the changing culture and how it can be a useful smokescreen
that tries to make cheating a social issue as well as a moral one. I will use morality to discredit a view
that certain forms of dishonesty are more acceptable than others forms. I hope to end my ... Show

After all, according to a study in Psychology Today, Forty to 60 percent of college students today
would cheat if given a chance (Davis, 1992). If 3 out of every 5 people are cheating and getting away
with it then why does it matter if I cheat occasionally? This method of rationalization is the root of the
problem when dealing with academic dishonesty today. There are so many different excuses, many
sounding very reasonable that it is very to get brainwashed, especially when it is something a person
wants to believe in order to justify wrong actions.
If the lack of morality or the declining deviation of demoralization is the main reason for cheating then
it might be useful to give an explanation of morality. According to M. Oakeshott in an article from
Human Conduct, Morality is a set of manners, customs, and compunctions that govern how we act and
speak in our relationships. We learn morality in the same way we learn a language: by speaking to
others and reacting in turn. Morality is also like a language in that 1.) it utilizes grammar, 2.) some
speak the moral language or act better than others, 3.) it changes with use, and 4.) there are many
different moral dialects.
(1992, p. 92)
Looking at morality from this perspective presents

Amazon s Major Competitors Are Divided
C. Shawn and Peilan Amazon s major competitors are divided in two parts. The first part is physical
stores such as Walmart or Target. The second area of competition is through the online market eg;
EBay and BestBuy. As opposed to Amazon, customers in a physical store could have more
comprehensive experience, especially for specific products like clothes and electronic devices. Some
customers need to be able to see and try the product themselves before feeling comfortable enough to
purchase it. Secondly, although Amazon has two day free shipping for its Amazon Prime, people are
required pay a yearly membership fee. People can also choose one day shipping and are charged
higher shipping fees. Physical stores still have more advantages than Amazon in this aspect.
Customers can directly buy what they want in the store and avoid obnoxious shipping fees. Next, we
want to touch on product quality and after sales service. If customers want to return or exchange
products in the physical store, they can talk directly with staff. For Amazon, customers have to email
or call to communicate with the seller. They also need time to send back the product which just
prolongs the process. Although Amazon has a free return policy, it can still be a complicated process
for customers. On another side, physical stores also have weaknesses compared to the online market
like Amazon. First, people can shop online anytime and anywhere. With the development of the
internet, more

Source Selection Evaluation Paper
The Source Selection Evaluation Plan acts as a guide for the agency s contracting team like that of the
Technical Evaluation Plan. The choice of which configuration to utilize relies upon the intricacy and
cost of the proposed venture and contract. A straightforward contract would utilize a technical
evaluation plan while a more perplexing and costly venture may require a lawfully controlled source
selection evaluation plan.
The reason for the source selection evaluation plan is to depict the procedure for assessing
recommendations from bidders. It records and characterizes each colleague s parts and obligations and
in addition the set of accepted rules that each colleague is considered responsible. Likewise, the
arrangement gives a fair minded ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, there are other important factors that the federal government insists that contracting officers
evaluate in the selection process. The contracting officer must decide if the cost/non cost criteria is
either significantly more important that cost or price; approximately equal in importance of cost or
price or significantly less important than cost or price (Compton. 2010, p.113). Vendors are informed
of the results after the contract has been awarded. There are circumstances in which the performance,
reliability, and quality of the end product are the most important aspect of the project and cost at that
point is no longer the main focus. There are five categories that the government uses for the specific
project in order of importance. These categories are: Technical approach and management plan,
quality assurance, past performance, key personnel and corporate experience (Compton, 2010, p. 127).
For the security fence project, it is suggested that the categories be ranked accordingly: with letter A
being the most important category and letter E being the least important.
A. Technical approach and management plan This involves the proper planning and preparation
involved to effectively execute the project and ensure its success. It takes into account any mishaps or
unforeseen instances that may

Summary Of Rudyard Kipling s The Great Gatsby Essay
They re there, there, there with Earth immortal
(Citizens, I give you friendly warning).
That the things that truly last when men and times have passed, they are all in Pennsylvania this
morning!
Rudyard Kipling 1. The Commonwealth They Served
The weather was seasonally cold in Pennsylvania s Capitol late in 1914. On Sunday morning,
December 27, the temperature was 1 degree Fahrenheit. This reading was the lowest ever registered in
the last month of the year during the almost three decade history of the Harrisburg weather station.
Nevertheless, the cold did not dim the spirit of the holiday season as the Harrisburg Evening Telegraph
newspaper cheerfully proclaimed, Perfect Christmas Makes City Happy.
During that week Governor John K. Tener, in the last month of his term, released a legislatively
mandated report that made history. The Report of the Economy and Efficiency Commission, for one
of the very few times in Pennsylvania s Chronicle, provided the public with a roster of all 5,152 state
employees. The release of this document was a key milestone in the Commonwealth s early 20th
century effort to improve its personnel management practices.
By listing names, this document provides an opportunity to recognize the often unheralded
contributions of selected state employees assigned to organizations under the general supervision of
the Governor. The register also affords an invaluable chance to appreciate how the offices, bureaus,
and divisions make Pennsylvania

  • 3. Shakespeare Monarchy This paper discusses William Shakespeare s work in relation to the monarchy that was in power during the time of his existence. This analysis includes the writings that were directly related to the queen and king of that time. Further, there is an analysis of how Shakespeare represented the entire monarchy. On the reverse side of this part of the discussion, the paper will look at how the monarchy viewed Shakespeare s work and the writer himself. The members of the society at the time of Shakespeare also had their views about Shakespeare and these will be discussed as well as how Shakespeare viewed the society. Most of the early works that he produced were mainly histories and comedies which he perfected and made more sophisticated. Shakespeare s sonnets had three underlying themes. These were beauty s transience, life s brevity and desire s trapping (Analysis of Shakespeare s Sonnets, n. d). Shakespeare s lifetime lapsed during two monarchies. • 6. Writing Style Of Frankenstein Mary Shelley writing style for the novel Frankenstein is very special as it is written in a creative narrative point of view even though when reading it there are times when one can forget that Robert Walton is the true singular narrator. Frankenstein is both a frame narrative and a story within a story, the story within the story is seen through Walton telling of Victor s telling of the Creature s story. Mary Shelley s writing style can clearly be seen in the novel with the letters from Robert Walton to his sister in which you can see the narrative point of view, however as you continue to chapter one it becomes hard to see that as it becomes the story within a story which then again happens when the creature tell Victor about what he has been doing since he was created. All of theses events are told by Walton yet it is hard to tell as the novel began to use words like I and my as if Victor was the narrator for example I am by birth a Genevese, and my family is one of the most distinguished of that republic. (19) which is describing Victor yet it seems as he is saying it. This can be seen throughout the main part of the story but towards the end with You have read this strange and terrific story, Margaret... (182) you can again see that Walton has been the narrator the whole time. Frankenstein is a novel that is full of memorable quotes many of which have a much deeper meaning, one of the first ones is What may not be expected in a country of eternal light? (3) ... In contrast to both there is Sales Orientation, (Dunnett, 2014) which would be defined as focusing on the selling of the product. This prioritizes the selling of the product above the customers satisfaction. This orientation relies on the sales team in the pushing of the product or service using aggressive sales techniques to achieve high profits. Here the assumption that sale prices that are high in value equate to substantial profit. In comparison with customer orientated corporations where the customers needs and wants are met, the firm will focuses a lot less on the satisfaction of the customer as it is presumed that high value equals satisfaction. • 8. Dillard Reflection The moth shook its sodden clumps of wing (Dillard 160). A quote as powerful as this one captures the depth of Dillard s views, which have a crippling effect on her outlook towards life. Dillard s environment is similar to that of the moth s, a limited amount of space to grow and prosper. Growth is a factor Dillard sees as extremely important in life, as she tries to learn a vast amount of information. Dillard has experiences in her memoir that mold who she is and what she has become. In many ways, I too reflect on similar experiences that mold who I am and what I have become overtime. Dillard and I experience a crippling environment and a pursuit to try and learn everything. As a child, Dillard is aware of her own open mindedness and perceptive abilities. A special memory that sticks out to her most is when she sees a Polyphemus moth crippled by a glass jar too small. Dillard compares this moth in a crippling environment to her own life in Pittsburgh, which is far too small. Pittsburgh is unable to hold the dreams that Dillard has. Normal dreams of girls of wealth in Pittsburgh are marrying the elite boys, who will go on to run the big companies in Pittsburgh. These big company boys do not interest Dillard, she has a dream to explore and use her knowledge for something bigger. Adoration Of The Magi And Bruegi Analysis The two paintings Adoration of the Magi, by Botticelli, and Peasant wedding, by Pieter Bruegel the Elder are both Renaissance art works made in the 14th and 15th centuries. Botticelli completed the Adoration of the Magi during the Italian Renaissance. The piece was commissioned by Cosimo de Medici and encaptures the Medici family witnessing the birth of Jesus Christ. Likewise, Pieter Bruegel the Elder completed the painting Pheasant Wedding in 1567, which is a depiction of the local pheasant s daily lifestyle and the simple pleasures it had to offer. The two paintings contrast in this way because of the indistinct and undeniable religious backgrounds the paintings have. One similarity is the the belief in Humanism that is represented in both the Adoration of the Magi and Peasant Wedding. Humanism is the belief that stresses the potential value and goodness of human beings and was innovated in both the Italian and Northern Renaissance. This belief can be seen in the painting Peasant Wedding by the way that Bruegel the Elder illustrates the congregation of people that had attended the wedding. Likewise, in The Adoration of the Magi, Botticelli communicates his belief in Humanism by the way he precisely draws each person in the painting. The two paintings portray the Humanist beliefs through the precise details in which they paint each person and indicates that they have faith and trust in the human race. In southern Renaissance artwork, the subject matter was usually centered and results in drawing the eyes attention to a certain focal point. The oppression they face is all because of the color of their skin, not because they are any less smart or human than others. The poor lifestyle is a result of racial identification and false labeling. People automatically stereotype and judge black people because of their skin color and often times it has a negative outcome. Focusing so much on an individual s race usually doesn t help people come together. In an ebook titled Legacies of Race: Identities, Attitudes, and Politics in Brazil on EBSCOhost, Stanely R. • 16. I Think Ktm Dirt Bikes Are Better Than Yamaha Dirt Bike I think KTM dirt bikes are better than Yamaha dirt bikes. KTM might not sell as many in the United States compared to Yamaha, but if you look at an international race you will see that 90% of the athletes ride KTMs. The KTM is built in Austria, where the Yamahas are built in Japan. Both companies build both track and trail bikes, and two strokes and four strokes. KTMs are famous for their crazy power from their two stroke line. Yamaha is known for producing good, reliable four stroke bikes. KTM was founded back in 1934 by Hans Trunkenpolz but didn t start large production and sales of motorcycles until 1981. Yamaha was founded in 1955 by a group of people from Japan, they also produce ATVs, boats, and sailboats. Yamaha ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Now compare it to the Yamaha s old school cable clutch, which is relatively smooth, but can sometimes get hung up in the cable housing, or the cable gets stretched out and needs to be replaced often. The KTM comes stock with billet hubs, these are amazing hubs that are super smooth rolling and relatively low maintenance. The reason that I like the KTM better than the Yamaha is because I have both brand bikes. I ride the KTM the most because I like the way it feels and the massive amount of power behind it. It is a fast, nimble bike great for both motocross and enduro. I have also worked on both bikes and can say that the KTM is far easier to work on. The Yamaha is still a good bike, but the KTM is just better in my opinion. The Yamaha is kind of an old bike now; they haven t changed the frame or the engine since 2006 when they did a whole makeover to the bike. The suspension has had some tuning in the recent years, they upgraded to SSS suspension and added some wider foot pegs. The biggest thing that they upgraded for this year were the graphics that were looking kind of old. Some people will argue that the Yamaha is a bit more reliable than the KTM is, and I will have to agree with that. Since the Yamaha is an older bike, they have some of the bugs worked out of it and the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

According to the Oxford dictionary, this French term means literally allow to do , however, in nineteenth century Britain, this word was used to define a new policy of non intervention in free market affairs by governments, in order to allow things to follow their own course without any external help, as suggested from some of the most famous economists of the era, as Adam Smith, his followers Thomas Robert Malthus and David Ricardo, or Samuel Smiles. These economists believed in a hands off approach of self help, as it can be seen from their written works. For example, Samuel Smiles (1859) wrote: Even the best institutions can give a man no active help. Perhaps, most they can do is, to leave him free to develop himself and improve his individual condition. Basically, they strongly believed in the idea of the self made man , capable of becoming successful by his own efforts. Anyhow, this belief that the interest of an individual would have led, in the end, to benefits for both the economy and the society, as highlighted by Smith (1776), strongly disagreed with the living conditions of the nineteenth century British society s situation. While discussing the positions of disobedience being considered a vice, and obedience being a virtue, Fromm reflects upon the history of Adam and Eve believing that eating the forbidden fruit was man s first act of disobedience. Through a veil of lies man obeys the State, the Church, the mass opinions of their peers, or any other organization that they view to be in power. This affords him a false sense of safety and protection. In his obedience, man feels strong allowing him to be controlled by the fear of being isolated or having undesirable repercussions greet him as a result of any disobedience. Throughout history it has been evident that, for the most part, the few in power have ruled over the majority. The foundation of this relationship has been the few equating obedience with virtue and disobedience with sin, resulting in man not only needing to obey, but wanting to obey. Man s inability to see that he has lost his ability to disobey and stand up for what he believes and values, instead of what he has been brainwashed to believe and value, will inevitably ensure the destruction of all civilization at the hand of man. • 37. Orthodontic Braces Research Paper Orthodontic braces are more beneficial than clear aligners because they work on even the most complex issues. A deep bite is a case of a complex orthodontic issue, Dr. Matthew Wiring from Wiring Orthodontics states that A deep bite is when the upper teeth completely overlap and cover the lower teeth. This can be a severe problem if the lower teeth hit the roof of the mouth (Wiring par. 7). This suggests that in a certain case of a deep bite, orthodontic braces are the best method to treat this situation. The alignment of the upper and lower teeth would fall under a category that traditional braces are able to fix because braces would pull the teeth forward back into proper alignment with the help of elastics and other orthodontic appliances. ... Malocclusion, or a bad bite, can be categorized as an orthodontic complex issue because it can cause severe consequences. Fortunately, malocclusion can be treated with traditional orthodontic braces because they work slowly to shift the teeth in the correct position, thus fixing the alignment of the jaw. Realigning the upper and lower jaws back into place is difficult. Despite this, orthodontic braces are recommended as they would treat this issue. Alignment of the teeth is also a complex orthodontic issue, Dr.Steven M. Dater from Steven M. Dater Dentistry suggests that Braces can fix the position of the teeth, as well as correcting the bite. Braces are the best option if you are dealing with a severe bite problem, or other complex treatment is needed (Dater par. 2). Her and two of her three sisters were advocates of the revolution until the sad ending of the story in which the three sisters were killed in a car crash. But before the ending of the Mirabal sisters can be discussed, the life of Minerva and the point she developed her political principles must be addressed. As a young child, Minerva Mirabal always spoke her mind, despite her mother s wishes that she would bite her tongue but Minerva would argue that women deserve to have a voice in their country, the Dominican Republic, as well. The time in which this story is set is during the regime of Rafael Leonidas Trujillo, a strict dictator with suffocating policies. Brutal oppression of actual or perceived members of any opposition was the main focus of Trujillo s rule. If any person spoke out against Trujillo, they were almost immediately assassinated. However, young Minerva possessed strong opinions mostly about the treatment of women, but this would eventually change to become a complete revolt against Trujillo and his policies. Minerva s coming of age was over a period of time and the biggest change wasn t directly stated in the novel. • 39. Fear Of Madness In Hamlet Madness, and fear of madness, are the driving factors behind the plot and character interactions in the play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. By the end of the play, almost every main character ends up dead as a result of the hysteria or indecisiveness of other characters. As more and more tragic events and countless deaths occur, each character is forced to find a coping mechanism. Some succumb to the pressure, like Ophelia, who goes mad and drowns after her father dies, but others attempt to hide the effect the pressure has on them, like King Claudius. A deeper examination of Claudius s emotions and behaviors reveal that his psychological state is in truth severely damaged and has taken a toll on his actions. After killing his brother, King ... The King is very violently affected by this play (Alexander). He accuses Hamlet of being mad, yet there is madness that lies within himself. The burden of holding in the horrible action he has committed has begun to take a toll on his well being, and the audience is finally given a glimpse into Claudius s emotions after The Murder of Gonzago, when he attempts to pray: Pray can I not. Though inclination be as sharp as will, my stronger guilt defeats my strong intent (3.3.42 44). The fact that there is nothing Claudius can ever do to truly make up for what he has done finally catches up to him, but he instead ends up using this as motivation for pursuing Hamlet s murder. The more Hamlet pushes his buttons, the more Claudius increasingly responds with coercion and eventually force (Keener). • 40. The Pros And Cons Of Canadian Culture To start with, China, which scores 80 on IDX, ranks higher than Canada by 41 points. This highlights the fact that the society views inequalities among people as a normal thing and the subordinate superior relationship tends to be polarized which leaves no space for defense against power abuse. Rigid hierarchy with formal authority influence individuals, and they believe in the capacity to lead and control of their own leaders. It is a society in which people are expected to stay at exactly where they are placed. In contrast, Canadian culture believe that everyone should receive equal rights and be treated equally. Similar to countries that score low on this aspect, Canadians build their hierarchy for convenience. Managers are approachable, and are expected to consult and exchange information with their staff members as they work as a team. Straightforward exchange of information is also preferred. In terms of individualism (IDV), Canadian culture is considered as an individualist one in which people look after themselves and their immediate families. For that reason, self reliance and initiatives are vital in the workforce. Hiring and promotion decisions are primarily based on one s merit and competence. On the other hand, scoring very low on this dimension, it can be said that China is a highly collectivist culture where people focus on group interest rather than self interest. This method of rationalization is the root of the problem when dealing with academic dishonesty today. There are so many different excuses, many sounding very reasonable that it is very to get brainwashed, especially when it is something a person wants to believe in order to justify wrong actions. If the lack of morality or the declining deviation of demoralization is the main reason for cheating then it might be useful to give an explanation of morality. According to M. Customers can directly buy what they want in the store and avoid obnoxious shipping fees. Next, we want to touch on product quality and after sales service. If customers want to return or exchange products in the physical store, they can talk directly with staff. For Amazon, customers have to email or call to communicate with the seller.
