A system is an interconnected set of elements that is coherently organized in a way that achieves something.
If you look at the definition closely for a minute, you can see that a system must consist of three kinds of
things: elements, interconnections and a function or purpose. (Meadows. D, 2009). Others have come up with

This request would assign the military resources to a specific Emergency Support Function (ESF). There are
15 ESFs focused in areas such as Transportation, Communications, Public Works and Engineering,
Firefighting, Emergency Management, Mass Care, Emergency Assistance, Housing, and Human Services,
just to name a few . Remembering that Active Duty resources are prohibited from enforcing civil law ,
military assistance to disaster response can be used in any other ESF area. Lastly, the National Guard, which
is the first line of the military response to most incidents 7 or domestic assistance needs, can participate in
law enforcing activities. The Army and the Air Force are the only military branches that have a National
Guard component, consisting of part time force where personnel have to be called and mobilized for their
tasks 7. National Guard members are not active duty military personnel, instead these members of the armed
forces are regulated by Title 32 of the U.S. Code 7. Describing the Guardsmen as dual purpose personnel,
another words they are both a state and federal resource. So as long as a National Guard resource is under

Similar to Uber and Airbnb, Teague s concept would absolutely offer disruption to the status quo of air travel
(Shu, 2015). The conceptual air carrier is called Poppi and they have analyzed the stress experienced by
travelers and other industry shortcomings to focus on the needs of the passenger while ignoring established
industry practices. Would these radical ideas offered by Poppi create a wake up call for the airline industry,
and particularly legacy carriers? Professor Taneja explains that most airlines acknowledge the importance of
disruptive innovation, however, their degree of reaction varies greatly from one carrier to another (Accenture,

growing up. Teens are changing rapidly as a result of changes in society and other changes. Few people want
to speak to teens, but cannot do so anymore because most if not all the teenagers think they are grown. The

been changing. Their friends contribute greatly in the decision making aspect of their lives; they manage to

and house work if they had any. Nowadays, it is much different. As mentioned before, society has changed,
and it has not changed for the best but the worst. Teens would never talk back to their parents at a particular
point in time, unfortunately, that is what is trending now. How is it possible to disrespect the elders? Does
that even make sense? No, it does not, but the activities that they are indulging in are causing these actions.
Teens are sexually active as they are left loose and with no guidance as these parents are afraid to speak to

teens are involved in sexual activities as their manners, morals and self esteem are gone. Little good morning

While reading chapter six from Beyond Grammar Language, Power, and the Classroom, written by Mary R.
Harmon and Marilyn J. Wilson, I began to realize how much we become caught up in the rules of the so
called Standard American English. It is sad because people are being judged on their dialect, which is a
representation of who people are and where they are from. I have found myself correcting people that have a
different dialect, or correcting people that say words that I have been told were not proper language, such as

Therefore, I love that Harmon and Wilson states that No dialect limits its speakers ability to express complex
thoughts, to think critically, or to use a full range of linguistic functions and purpose (154 55). As a society
and as future teachers, we need to teach our students that people have different dialects, and the differences

die. It is not that he feels there is too much pain or strife in life, but that he is tired with dealing with it and
