These cities are often called megacities because they have a high density of population. Between
the 1950 s to the 1960 s China s government had implemented the Five Year plan, this plan was
the government s way of initiating population growth, which resulted in high rates of urban in
migration (Shin, 2015, pg.3). This was the spark of urbanization in the megacities. A few decades
later the urbanization population ratio has skyrocketed in the past two decades from 26% in 1990

Each day, Calgarians hop on and off at numerous different C Train platforms. While most of the
platforms are at ground level, sometimes there is a drab feeling with the concrete surroundings.
When heading downtown, individuals are likely to come across SWARM by Stuart Keeler if they
stop at the 6th Street and 7th Avenue C Train station. The glass above in the ceiling lights to station
with warm colors, as the sunlight shines through the red and yellow panels. The grid like blocks
are akin to the view when flying towards Calgary and the grids of the farmers fields and plots.
Affixed to the glass ceiling are maple leaf seeds, that are often seen blowing in the wind; they
gather like a flock of birds. The piece is reminiscent of southern Alberta roots, and the warm colors
are allusive of the beautiful sunsets that light the sky in bright red, orange and yellow. Overall,

The chamber music concert was held in Manhattan School of Music at 5:00 pm Friday, April 15.
The concert was conducted by many instruments with various types of music. The atmosphere was
fairly intense as the concert hall was approximately the size of an average home living room with
about 35 people in the audience. The camber concert was divided into two major parts with an
intermission of 15 minutes in between the parts. As for this concert report I would like to focus on
primarily the music pieces I ve liked and the experience I have had.

The distance from the performer and the audience was so close, allowing you to speculate every

The concert took place at Manhattan School of Music, which is located in the performing arts
recital hall on Monday, May 1, 2011. The stage setting was neat, demonstrative, and very well
organized as I first entered the entrance. I could feel electrify with many extreme bright lights
hanged on the top, which made me felt more exciting. There were many types of people coming
in this concert including teenager and elderly. This concert was conducted by Dr. Nicholas Muni
from MSM Symphonic Band with one of the talented musicians from PCSl High School, Ms. Jai
Sun Song. The Manhattan School of Music Band performed a total of fives pieces such as the

An estimate number of 10 to 17 yr olds in UK in 1999 was 2704392 males and 2561681 females.
These young people represent of the general population and are also often the group who elicit the
most concern and discussion within local communities and the media. There is a big interest in the
consistent crimes in this age group, resulted in a lot of research being made.
Therefore this essay will be establishing research done by various criminal agencies that help to

The Crown Prosecution Service is headed by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), who
reports to the Attorney General.
Other prosecuting authorities include the Serious Fraud Office, the Inland Revenue, Customs and
Excise Commissioners, local authorities, and trading standards departments, all of which will
prosecute cases. Any Individual citizens can bring private prosecutions for most crimes, but some

custody on licence. It also prepares reports for the courts to help with sentencing. Certain young
offenders can be supervised by local authority social services departments or youth offending teams.
HM Inspectorate of Probation has both an inspection and an advisory role, and also monitors any
work that the Probation Service carries out in conjunction with the voluntary and private sectors.

Analysis Of Imperial Dreams
In Imperial Dreams directed by Malik Booth, one scene shows the main character Bambi letting his
son: Daytone riding a horse, which portrays both his son and his happiness even though they aren t
in a happy environment. This is shown through different shots and techniques such as; a medium
shot showing Daytone riding the horse; a close up on Bambi s face to show his facial expressions
and actors performance; lighting and colour ; and a long shotto show Bambi paying the man who
owned the horse, money for the horse ride. All these help to show happiness in Bambi and Daytone.
Malik Booth uses a medium shot to show happiness. Happiness is shown on Daytone s face
when he is seen riding the horse. The medium shot shows Daytone with a big grin on his face,
brightening up his whole face while sitting on top of the horse. Earlier in the film, we see
Daytone playing with a toy horse, which normally means he likes it. He also doesn t recognize
Bambi which means that Day didn t know his own father. But now Day stays with his father and
having him ride an actual horse is like a big present that is given to us on our birthday or
Christmas. Which normally feels exciting and ecstatic. For Bambi to give this gift to Daytone
which symbolizes the horse, shows the audience how much he cares for him and that he shows it
through this scene.
