Robert Marzano. Marzano is a well known expert in the field of contemporary
assessment. He is known for his educational research on topics including standards
based assessment and high yield teaching strategies. Marzano has used this research
to design assessment programs that have been implemented in K 12 classrooms
around the country (ASCD, 2015). He has also authored several books including

about to strike down on a man who is bent over on his knees. There is also an angel
right above them. Below the mountain, there are two men having a conversation in
a lounged position, and one of their donkeys is standing nearby. On the other side,
there seems to be a man begging three more angels for something. Off in the
distance behind that man is a woman emerging from a tent. There are also lots of
trees on the left side, opposite of the mountain. The men having a conversation are
sitting next to a bush and what seems to be some sort of water source, that is
coming from a small cave in the mountain. There is a type of basket at the feet of the
tree angels, and there is a table outside the tent from which the woman is emerging.

his worldview to the readers. Throughout the play, readers are able to determine

noticeable, death. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are presented as two characters who
represent the everyday person. In the play, they are looking for purpose and direction

Christopher Columbus who was a famous Italian explorer, once head out in search of
India but landed in America, a completely new and undiscovered land by the
Europeans. After landing in America he made many trips back and forth to this new
land which he believed was Asia. Christopher Columbus is now remembered as the
man who discovered the new world. This shows that during any journey one will
face many challenges but in the achieve more than they expected. In both works, The
Alchemist by Paul Coelho and Life Of Pi by Ang Lee. The main character throughout
their journeys learn and understand the meaning of life and how to succeed in life
through natural law and the world of shock and horror.

Catharine Esther Beecher was a famous educator and writer. She was the eldest
child of the Beecher clan. Catharine was born in East Hampton, New York, in
1800. When she was 10, her family moved to Litchfield, Connecticut where she
began her education at Sarah Pierce s Academy for Young Women. When
Catharine was 16 years old, her mother died of tuberculosis, leaving Catharine to
care for her younger siblings. Catharine cared for her siblings like they were her
children. Catharine Beecher s early career was devoted to promoting education for
women and the beginning of education as a profession. While still in her teens,

At this time, the seminary had become one of the premier women s schools in the
United States. Upon arriving in Cincinnati, Catharine opened another women s
school, the Western Female Institute, but this school did not last due to the lack of
financial support caused by the Panic of 1837, an economic depression in the US.
During the 1840s, Catharine worked to recruit teachers for schools on the western
frontier and organized the Central Committee for Promoting National Education.
This organization promoted teacher education and presented to the ideas of
education as a profession. In 1852, Catharine Beecher was one of the founders of
the American Women s Educational Association, which was for the higher learning
institutions for women in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Through her writings and
the schools she opened, Catharine fought for the women to be taught history,
Latin, rhetoric, algebra, logic, physical education, and natural philosophy. She also
introduced domestics education class, which is known as family and consumer
sciences. She believed that preparing women to be respected caregivers was the
key to provide women to become teachers, which Catharine saw as naturally suited
for women. She also advocated for the provision of a basic education for all children

Rhythm
Most baroque music has an easily recognizable strong, steady pulse, and continuity of
rhythm.
Patterns of rhythmic sequences permeate much of Baroque music.
Rapid changes in harmony often makes the pieces feel more rhythmic.
Dance rhythms were frequently used in multi movement form pieces.

Harmony
