As a teenager, getting a driving license is a long extraneous task of taking tests, reading driving

have seen how it can help prepare fairly new drivers for safe driving. After getting a license there
are many limitations put on you, some only last for a few months, but others last for your whole
high school career. Limitations like these help new drivers to learn good and lasting habits, so that
they can keep themselves and others safe. Some of these laws; however, need to be updated and
more defined, so that teenage drivers learn and understand how dangerous driving really is.
One big limitation is not being able to have any passengers in the car unless they are related to
you. This is a great law, because teens can become distracted by their friends, but one things that
bothers me is this law is active for six months from getting your license, but after that you can
have friends in your car. I just think that this shouldn t be so abrupt, going from no one in your
car to a car full of your friends. I think that teens should, during their first six months, have
checkpoints in which they can slowly accumulate more people in their car and become more used
to having distractions, and being able to avoid them. I know most kids don t follow this law
anyway, but for those who do follow this law, I believe it will greatly help them become more
accustomed to driving with distracting people in their car.
Another law that I think could be more enforced is the 40 hours of driving rule. This rule is that
new drivers must drive at least 40 hours in the car before they get their license, 10 of those hours
must be at night, while the other 30 is during the day. This rule isn t really very enforced, and is
just passed by, but I think that there should be more strict rules put upon this, so that we know

Air Pollution in China Anyone s life truly lived consists of work, sunshine, exercise, soap, plenty of
fresh air, and a happy contented spirit, Lillie Langtry(BrainyQuote); air is important part of life
without we cannot live, yet the people in China breath in pollution air which is slowing killing their
population. Most of us take the air we breathe for granted and never stop to think that we are
slowly causing the very thing we need to live to become a poison that will enter our lungs. But
how does air get polluted one might ask? The main cause of air pollution emission is from the
burning of fossil fuels and the burning of these fuels cause the air to become harmful to people
and the environment (Facts and Details). So in this essay I will bring up how bad China air is,
how it got to be so bad, why it is important for you to know and solutions to the problem. First
thing I want to talk about is just how bad the air in China is. According to Abc.net Linfen, China is
the number one most polluted place on earth causing high levels of bronchitis, pneumonia, lung
cancer, and lead poisoning in children alone. Which brings me to death rate every year in China,
according to the Studies by the world bank, WHO, and the Chinese academy of Environment
planning, they found around 350,000 and 500,000 people die prematurely because of the air
(telegraph ).

Reflection On Conflict Theory
In this class, the idea of Conflict Theory was brought up very early on. I really enjoy the concept
and find it incredibly useful when considering complex topics. Conflict theory, which was
originally a concept in which Karl Marx is largely attributed, theorizes that conflict arises due to
limited resources and the competition to secure those resources. The theory says that as long as
there is a limit on how much of something there is (and since we all live on a giant ball that has a
set amount of every resource, there always will be), then there will be people who fight to have
control of it. For me, I find this theory in action everywhere, and I routinely use it as a logical
deduction tool to deduce the underlying motivations of those around me.
Whenever I see something strange happening around me, the first thing I do is ask myself: Who
profits from this? How do they profit? Why would they do that? After that, I ask myself who else
would want whatever is in question. For example, if I was asked to find a root cause for the
ongoing conflict in the middle east, I would ask who benefits from it. Once I do that, I would
probably find that a very large portion of the U.S. economy is derived from the import and export
of petroleum, which is highly abundant in the area. In fact, if the U.S. were to lose the oil imported
from the middle east, then disastrous wouldn t even come close to describing the economic turmoil
that would ensue within the United States. From this, I would undoubtedly conclude that the U.S. (
some other European countries) are guilty of destabilizing the region in order to secure rights over
their oil.
But this theory does not just apply to global issues. The idea of conflict applies everywhere, from
knowing what a possible future employer wants to hear, to understanding how much you are
paying at the register when you go grocery shopping. In fact, both of these ideas had a large
impact on how I landed my first job.
When I was in high school, seniors were required to participate in a 200 hour internship at local
businesses in order to graduate. It was during this time that I got an interview at a company known

Middle school changes lives, it s as simple as that. It changes everything that you know about

extending horizontally, which seems to take place downtown. Initially, my eyes were drawn to
the large eye located at the top, center of the piece, in between very large buildings. This eye
seems to be a large clock, due to the little hand and big hand extending out of the pupil. Many old
