Trever Nelsen was injured in his senior year of high school and could no longer play sports, so he researched broadcast journalism programs and chose to attend The Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting at Full Sail University. 2. Trever Nelsen was born in Virginia Beech, Virginia before moving to
Kalamazoo Michigan when he was 2 years old. Trever has been playing
sports since he was just four years old. He has played hockey, baseball,
football and basketball. But his senior year of high school changed all that
when he suffered a bad knee injury that wouldn’t allow him to play
anymore. He didn’t let the fact he couldn’t play discourage him. He had to
find new ways to sGll be involved in sports. AIer doing a lot of research
and comparing the different SportscasGng programs he found a one that
was beKer than the rest. He found The Dan Patrick School of BroadcasGng
through Full Sail University. AIer talking to an administraGve assistant, he
knew this was the prefect program for him.
