3. The life of Pablo Picasso
He was the first son of Don José Ruiz y Blasco (1838–
1913) and María Picasso y López. He had two sisters and
one brother,
but he died when he was little. Pablo Picasso was a
Spanish
painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist and stage
designer.
4. Picasso’s paintings
He made his first artwork with eight years. His family
moved to La Coruña in 1891, where his father became a
professor at the School of Fine Arts.
5. Blue period
In 1900-1902, Pablo Picasso moved to
Paris. One of his friend committed
suicide.
In his paintings he represented
ballrooms , streets… But he always
used tones of blue
6. Rose period
(1904-1905) He met Fernande Olivier, she influenced him
in a new style. With this relationship, the color that was
dominating was red or pink.
