Zachary Daniel Eichert is a middle and high school teacher who was born in Santa Barbara, California in 1980. He has a BA in Ethnomusicology from UCLA and a Master's in Education from UCSB. He has taught World History, Spanish, Geography, Civics and other subjects in California and Ecuador since 2001. His hobbies include drawing, making musical instruments, hiking and camping. As a teacher, his goal is to develop students' historical consciousness by teaching them about different cultures, time periods and applying logical thinking to history.

Teachers from Romania visited Cyprus for meetings at Dimotiko Scholeio Daliou 2 school. The meetings were productive, providing knowledge about ITC applications and how to apply music and visual art in lessons. Lesson plans were analyzed and improved. The budget and future events were also planned. In their free time, the teachers discovered common roots in traditional music between Cyprus and Romania. They were also surprised to meet Romanian children integrated into the Cypriot education system. Their Cypriot hosts provided unforgettable experiences visiting important cultural sites around Cyprus.
