A group of students and teachers from Słupia Secondary School in Poland traveled to Trikala, Greece from February 19-24, 2013 to participate in an interschool project called "Wordcrossing" under the Comenius Program. During their visit, they presented their project logo and anthem, learned Greek dancing and music, visited historic sites in Trikala and Meteora, and bonded with students and teachers from their partner schools in Greece, Spain, Turkey, Italy and Romania before returning home with new experiences and memories.

Creating an English School Newspaper is an enjoyable, creative and educational process! This project aspires to involve many European learners in the creation of a common Newspaper! Each issue will thematic, so that all participants can get an idea of what is going on in their partners' side. Participant learners will also have the opportunity to interact via Twinspace, improving thus their speaking/typing along with their writing skills! Practising skills simulates real-life communication in a fun-filled project that will help everyone realize the emergence of English as an international language and expand their horizons. Learners will also have the opportunity to feel like citizens of the world, members of a vast community, outside the barriers of their local surroundings. Using English as the vehicle, this project will provide useful insight on their peers' daily routine, interests, customs and mentality, aloowing everyone thus to become more tolerant with diversity.

Students in the high school hosted Słupia in Greece
Between 19-24 February 2013 at the invitation of five Middle
Trikalon in Trikala (Greece), the delegation of the Roman Czernecki
Secondary School in Słupia take part in the next meeting of the
interschool project "Wordcrossing”. This project is being
implemented under the "Partnership School - Comenius Program."
School teachers were represented by Katarzyna Stępieo - project
coordinator, Kamil Hukowski - English teacher and students:
Katarzyna Prusek, Natalia Konarska, Sylwia Wylot
and Tomasz Woźniczka.
3. During the meeting, representatives of six partner schools
with Polish, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy and Romania
presented the logo and the anthem of the "Wordcrossing"
as well as a list of the best books for young people.
Students with Słupia prepared a multimedia presentation
on the book "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-
Exupery, and reviews of books and illustrations, which was
an e-book.
Stay in Greece has provided teachers and students
with many experiences
