Formative Assessments: Excursion: A Field Trip to Kampung Cina (Students will observe the way people celebrate Chinese New Year)
Through Language: Listen to stories about celebrations Learn vocabulary needed to describe the different celebrations and traditions
Through  Bahasa Indonesia: Learn question words to interview school community members Read simple stories about celebrations
Through Art: Different tools/materials to  create art project How art help us celebrate How celebrations are different Through ICT: Color pictures related to celebrations Use different software to learn more  about celebrations

Summative Assessment: “Making a Scrapbook” Students collect photos about celebrations they have in their family. Students paste the photos in their scrapbook and decorate them.
