In this form of test, the
examiner presents the questions
using the spoken words and the
examinee responds in the same
manner.

3. Advantages of oral response tests
✓ It is presented orally and respond orally
✓ It contributes to be overall flexibility of oral response
tests.
✓ It can be used in many situations appropriate to other
types of tests and some unique situations where other tests
are in appropriate.

4. Disadvantages of oral response test
✓ It is basically an individual
examination and restricted to the
verbal interaction of the examiner and
examinee for any one question.
✓ It is time consuming especially when
it involves in depth questioning.

5. (B) WRITTEN RESPONSE TEST
In this type of test , the
questions are presented by the
examiner by the use of the
spoken words and are answered
in writing by the examinee.
