Curriculum Crisis in ICT and its Impact on Sustainable Science Education, Res...ijtsrd
Globally, Information and Communication Technology ICT curriculum is significant in realising sustainable science education. Despite this laudable global impact, curriculum crisis in ICT have plagued sustainable science education in Nigeria. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology UTAUT was adopted as the conceptual framework in this study. UTAUT model claims that the benefits of using technology and the factors that drive users’ decision to use it, is what determines users’ acceptance behaviour. The authors explored a narrative review, analysis, and synthesis of vast works of literature that revealed significant information on impact of curriculum Crisis in ICT on sustainable science education in Nigeria. The authors also used some keywords such as “Curriculum Crisis in ICT” , “ICT curriculum Crisis effect on science education” , and so on, to extract peer reviewed articles within the last five years. Results revealed that inclusion of good ICT curriculum design, policies, guidelines, equipment, motivations, high speed internet, etc., may leverage curriculum crisis in ICT. Results from this study may positively impact research and innovations in Nigerian following the absence of curriculum crisis in ICT resulting from inclusion of ICT policies, laws, guidelines. Effects of Multimedia in Teaching Science Implication to Practice in Secondar...ijtsrd
Given its positive influence on the teaching and learning process, the promising effect of multimedia in education has proved its significance. This study aimed at assessing the effectiveness of multimedia in teaching secondary science subject. An experiment of two equivalent groups was designed, one is experimental and the other is controlled each of them consists of 40 respondents of mixed gender male and female . Discussion was made to the first group using multi media presentations video clips generated from the internet treated as the experimental group. While the second group was given the same lecture using the traditional method which used the dialog and discussion technique treated as a control group. Both groups were subjected to pre and post test in the discussions or lectures on Gas Laws specifically Boyle’s Law. The analysis result of the pre test showed no significant differences, which in turn proves the equivalence of the two groups. Meanwhile, the analysis result of the post test showed that there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group at a significance level of 0.05 for the interest of the experimental group. Since the students in Chemistry showed positive attitude towards the subject and towards the integration use of multimedia technology, then it is highly recommended that the administration and the faculty should work hand in hand in maintaining the learning environment conducive for learning by providing multimedia technologies such as Smart TV, allowing gadgets like cellphones, laptops, tabs, etc. inside the classrooms so that learning will be smoothly delivered with authenticity. A STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF ONLINE TEACHING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONIAEME Publication
The Covid-19 pandemic caused a great deal of fear among people all across the world, and the education sector was no exception. In particular for the educational institutions that were entirely offline, this caused a fast, drastic shift from "brick and mortar" to online instruction. The current research study compares face-to-face instruction to online instruction to understand the students' perspectives. Graduate students (UG & PG) from particular educational institutions in Hyderabad were asked to fill out a Google form survey questionnaire in order to obtain primary data. As a result, the current study also assessed how satisfied students were with their performance on numerous metrics, such as their acquisition of graduate-level competencies, which include knowledge, abilities, and behaviour.
In early days the main emphases were on the cognitive aspects of learning and traditional instructions of teaching in the classroom using outdated and conventional techniques. But today in this world of constant innovations and discoveries, scientists and gadget-experts are continuously searching for one or the two technological devices a day. Nodoubt technology has made our life much easier and better in many aspects. In developed countries, technology facilitates and helps students and teacher to learn things in more effective ways. But in the country like India, the development in technology is not upto that mark. We still are moving towards the path of progress. Thus, this paper will best describes about the conceptual framework regarding futuristic studies related to future technologies such as M-Learning, E-Learning, , iPod, I-Pad self-efficacy learning, Virtual Learning Environment (VLE ) etc. In this paper investigator highlighted some of the studies related to trends in futurology and innovations that could prove an important aspect of education technology.
Challenges of Virtual Learning A Insight on Management Educationijtsrd
Education is the method of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge and development of the abilities of the mind. Education implies to discipline and development by means of study and learning. One of the foremost crucial benefits of education is that it improves personal lives and helps the society to run smoothly. Covid pandemic has created a great challenge on this educational sector and there was a sudden shock to both the teachers and the students not knowing what to do and this challenge paved way to virtual learning or online classes which was both challenging to students and their facilitators. With the advent in technology and with the perpetual increase in the strength of the students and the number of departments in the educational institutions, it is laborious to exchange the study materials between the students and the faculties. The main objective of the E Learning is to help the students get over the traditional methods of learning and make them accustomed to the internet .But the question remains how far the students and the faculties were able to adopt them self to the sudden shift and cope up with the changes .This paper tries to provide an insight on the challenges faced by the students what was their expectation and perception. This research paper helps both the students and the teachers to know the challenges covid laid on Teaching learning process and the quality of facility learning for growth to survival.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Elements of Open Education
‒ "open education (…) refers to a set of educational practices, in which the notion
of access is complex and has broadened over time, from the initial
understanding of it relating only to university entrance. Such efforts are
supported by a variety of media, learning materials, assessments, tools, and
systems to provide flexible learning opportunities." (COER Group, 2020)
