Consequences on our drop out rates – part 2
Drop out rate is dramatically lower for 25+ students than for students
entering with diploma : (14% vs. 52% during observed period)
Students coming from Admission 25+:
Can prepare independently for exams
Can muster the necessary motivation to learn
Have greater autonomy
Have organised their everyday lives to fit the demands of studying.
Editor's Notes
60% drop out rate > WHY ?
Age of our students : active professionnally + with family
Not so well organised
Our distance model isn’t for everyone
Drop out rates = 30-40%
Students in Master have already studied a Bachelor > they know how to study
With diploma : drop out rate = 60%
Admission 25+ : drop out rate = 10-20%
