Introduction
• Higher education institutions are increasingly
incorporating virtual reality (VR) into their
curriculums, allowing students to experience
immersive, interactive learning environments that
simulate real-world situations.
• VR is a simulated 3D environment that enables
users to explore and interact with a virtual
surrounding in a way that approximates reality, as it
is perceived through the users' senses.
• VR technology is helping students develop critical
thinking and problem-solving skills and prepares
them for the demands of the modern workforce.
• This study tries to explore the research trends on VR
in Higher education that can be examined through
bibliometric analysis.

  • 2. Introduction • Higher education institutions are increasingly incorporating virtual reality (VR) into their curriculums, allowing students to experience immersive, interactive learning environments that simulate real-world situations. • VR is a simulated 3D environment that enables users to explore and interact with a virtual surrounding in a way that approximates reality, as it is perceived through the users' senses. • VR technology is helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills and prepares them for the demands of the modern workforce. • This study tries to explore the research trends on VR in Higher education that can be examined through bibliometric analysis.
