1st Step:(Desizing)
 Lot size:100 kg cotton garment.
 Water add@ L: R = 1: 5 of 500 – 600 Liter.
 Run the machine.
 Detergentadd@ 1 mg / liter.
 Temperature:Supplysteamtoraise temperature @40°c – 60°c.
 Time:15 to 30 minute.
 Drop the liquor.
 Coldwash.

3. 2nd Step:(Rinse wash)
 Water adds@ L: R = 1: 5 of 480 liter.
 Run the machine.
 Temperature:Raise temperature upto40°c
 Time:5 minute.
 Drop the liquor.
3rd Step:(Softening)
 Water adds@ L: R = 1: 5 of 500 Liter.
 Run the machine.
 Silicon/Flax softeneradds @ 0.1 – 0.5 mg / liter.
 Temperature:Supplysteamto raise temperature @ 20°c – 30°c.
 Time:5 to 10 minute.
 Drop the liquor.
4th Step:(Hydro extraction)
Load the garmentsinhydro extractormachine.
 Thismachine removes excesswaterfromthe garments.

applied to change or modify the outlook, appearance, comfort ability and design of
garments. There are different types and objects of wash in the garment industry.
Types of Garments Washing:
There are two types of washing process for garments products. It is wet washing process and
dry washing process. Here also wet washing process is divided by seven ways and the dry
washing process is divided by five ways, according to the fabric quality and buyer requirement.
But most common and applied wash in garment is normal wash, by using detergent. In the wet
washing process enzyme wash, stone wash and bleach wash is most popular and other hand
