DePaul Office of Student Employment Online Manager Training (Hiring Process)DePaul Career Center
To hire a student employee at DePaul University, a supervisor must complete a Student Employment Action Form (SEAF) with the student's information and position details. The student then brings the SEAF to the Office of Student Employment to complete I-9 verification documents and additional hiring paperwork. Human Resources will notify the supervisor when the student can begin working and how to request network access. Finally, the student can access their online timesheet through Campus Connection to enter their work hours for payroll processing.
To prepare for a good job interview, one should practice their interview skills through workshops, research their own strengths and the company they are interviewing for, come prepared with questions to ask the interviewer, dress professionally, follow up after the interview by sending a thank you letter, and evaluate their own performance to continue improving their interview skills. Additional preparation tips can be found by attending free career workshops offered through the DePaul Career Center.
A career portfolio is a collection of a person's qualifications and work samples that can be presented to employers. It should include who the person is, how they can help potential employers, and proof of their skills like communication, research, teamwork and leadership through examples of class work, internship work, volunteer work and accomplishments. Career workshops are available to help individuals learn more about creating an effective career portfolio and preparing for job opportunities.
The document outlines the three phases of DePaul University's interview process: pre-interview, the in-person interview, and making an offer. Phase 1 includes picking top candidates, conducting phone screens, creating interview questions and criteria. Phase 2 covers preparing for and conducting interviews, including dos and don'ts. Phase 3 involves reference checks and making a formal offer. The overall process aims to thoroughly and systematically evaluate candidates based on job requirements to identify the best fit.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
