Music Video, this is a song/album promotion for
the artist showing the audiences the song.
Provide any research evidence you can find that supports explanations of
benefits for artist, record label and audience
Extension of income
This would be things to do with festivals, tours
and gigs. This would allow their fans to see
them live paying a certain amount therefore the
artist making money.
Most singers/bands peform there music, sites sell tickets and the money goes to
the artist. Some sites which sell tickets are Ticketmaster, Get Me In and Ticket
Line.
Extension of outlets
One direction have a perfume out this is an
extension of outlets. This would make the boy
band more money instead of their music.
The benefits to the artist would be that they are making more money, and the
audience could grow bigger if people like the smell of the perfume.
Synergy
Different companies promoting the album with Things like this could be sold at gigs or concerts. Also t-shirt’s mugs and other
different products. For example a clothing
products can be sold and music related shops.

Producers strategies
When producers are marketing the album for
example they have many ways of doing so.
Promotional
Videos which promote the music/song can be found on a well known site called
Youtube. This is where most music artists put there videos for the general public
to see.
They could release snippets of the song/album on youtube or other social sites.
