This document provides conventions for using a mouse and keyboard as input devices. It describes that a user can invoke tasks either by double clicking with the mouse or using keyboard shortcuts like function keys, hot keys, or arrow keys. Function keys allow using alt or ctrl combinations for underlined or double underlined buttons. Hot keys provide the fastest selection method and are uniquely identified in red text in menus. Arrow keys are used for navigation, enter executes highlighted commands, and esc exits menus.

1. By Mouse : Double Click the desired command in the menu and button at the
button bar.
2. By Keyboard :
1. Function Keys : (F1 to F12)
Some buttons are named by Function keys. Use Alt combination key for
underlined button and Ctrl combination key for double underlined button.
2. Hot keys:
Hot keys are uniquely identified in a red color on all options in the
Menu. This is the fastest way of selection.
•Arrow keys, Enter key and Esc key :
Arrow keys are used to move to the desired option. Enter key is used to
execute highlighted command. Esc key helps to exit from the menu.
