The digital protective relay is a protective relay that uses a microprocessor to analyze power system voltages, currents or other process quantities for the purpose of detection of faults in an electric power system, industrial process system or High voltage applications.
Are you looking for different types of relays or electronic components parts? If yes, then you can buy it from trusted Omron Relay wholesale suppliers like Express Technologies.
If you are also looking for Omron Relays Wholesale Suppliers, then Express Technology is a one-stop solution to accomplish your needs. It is one of the trusted names which have been dedicatedly engaged in offering the finest range of electronic components including relay, capacitors, resistors, and more under one roof.
To the present day, the control of prosthetic mechanisms and the classification of surface EMG (sEMG) signals is heavily influenced by multiple factors, such as the overall quality of the signal acquired, the number and the position of electrodes, and unwanted noise or crosstalk between them. For this reason, the technological state-of-the-art is moving from the analysis of low-order features (e.g. Median Absolute Value and spectral features) that could suffer the aforementioned issues, to more complex techniques, such as Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (NMF) decomposition of signal channels. This technique hypothesizes a high-order modular control of muscles at the Central Nervous System (CNS) level built upon coordinated motor patterns (called muscle synergies), and it removes the limitations on Degrees-of-Freedom (DoF) per electrode given by standard sEMG controllers. Unfortunately, the utilisation of such techniques in prosthetics is limited by their computational complexity, which limits them to research laboratories and bulky processing systems.
The objective of this project is to create a FPGA-based, real-time NMF processor that extracts muscle synergies from a 8-electrode sEMG recording. In particular, the main focus of the work is to minimize the time required for the computation, without neglecting the power efficiency of the system, a fundamental requirement for any embedded device.

A low cost, real-time algorithm for embedded devices based on freertos kerneleSAT Journals
Abstract A low-cost, real-time methodology for embedded devices based on well-known open source kernel - freeRTOS is presented in this study. The real-time algorithm designed consists of three main steps. Firstly, the algorithm is designed and evaluated by utilizing Matlab/Simulink toolboxes. Secondly, the generic embedded C code is generated by Matlab program. Finally, freeRTOS Tasks code is utilized based on C code generated to build and run on embedded targets. This real-time algorithm is demonstrated on a two-wheeled self-balancing robot which is employed a fuzzy PID self-tuning controller. The designed controller is executed on a famous ARM Cortex M4 core microcontroller STM32F407VTG. The experimental results show that algorithm designed operated well on embedded systems. The tracking position and rotation angle response are so good with low steady error (i.e. 0.01 [m] and less than 1.15 degrees, respectively) while stabilizing the two-wheeled at the upright. The real-time system designed is a low cost methodology and suitable for embedded system designers. Key Words: Open source, RTOS, embedded system, ARM Cortex and fuzzy PID controller

Direct torque control using neural network approacheSAT Journals
Abstract Direct Torque Control (DTC) is one of the latest technique to control the speed of motor, in this paper, the control technique of DTC is based on when load changes then inverter switch position are changed and supply to the motor is changed, in this paper Proportional Integral (PI), Neural Network (NN) controller and Adaptive motor model is designed this is the heart of the DTC, as we know that DTC doesn’t require any feedback and sensors to measure. The NN structure is to be implemented by input output (nonlinear) mapping models and is constructed with input, output and hidden layers of sigmoid activation functions. It has been introduced as a possible solution to the real multivariate interpolation problem. To improve the performance of DTC with the modern technique using NN approach is implemented, and performance of DTC with PI controller and NN controller is done, hence, the NN approach shows the better performance than conventional PI controller. MODELING & SIMULATION OF VOLT/HZ SPEED CONTROL FOR INDUCTION MOTOR USING DSPA...IAEME Publication
The rapid adoption of automation techniques in industry has increased the requirement for better process control. This has resulted in many new applications for AC variable speed drives (VSDs) to control the speed and torque of driven machinery. Variable speed drives (VSDs) are also used to meet particular starting and stopping requirements. The objective of this thesis is development of Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) using the dSPACE DS1104 DSP controller board for speed control of a phase induction motor. The board enables the linking of the MATLAB/Simulink model to the real time hardware. We have the feasibility of injecting real time analog and digital data into the MATLAB/Simulink model, process it to suit our model requirements, do the simulation, study the response in MATLAB/Control Desk and at the same time get real time analog and digital output from the DSP controller board.
Analysis and optimization of sand casting defects with the help of artificial...eSAT Journals
Abstract Casting defects is one and the only limitation in any casting process. Sand casting process too suffers from the same problem. Finding out the optimum condition towards acquiring minimum casting defects is very critical. The normal method that most of the companies use is the trial and error method. But due to limitations like error prone results, expensive and time consuming, this method causes too much cost to company. In this paper, an attempt has been made to minimize the casting defects by optimizing the process parameters of sand casting defect using Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The Toolbox of the MATLAB software is used to run the different values of the parameters. Parameters are selected on the basis of survey from different industry and a rigorous research of the previous paper on this topic. Before that a program was prepared in MATLAB to generate the values of different parameter by using their highest and smallest values which has been collected from a local casting industry. In our first attempt to optimize the sand casting process parameters, it is found that if we consider randomly both input and output just by considering their limits the results are satisfactory just up to a limit. And it changes if the parameters are being changed. For specific conditions the result is found to be 3.175 as casting defect. Later on a new type of program is generated based on the relation of sand casting parameters and sand casting defects. Three specific casting defects are considered called, Expansion Defect, Gas Defect, Weak sand Defect. At last, their results are found to be Expansion defect: 6.23%, Gas Defect: 7.28%, Weak Sand Defect: 5.74%. Keywords: Sand casting, Artificial Neural Network (ANN), MATLAB, Casting Defect
Sliding Mode Methodology Vs. Computed Torque Methodology Using MATLAB/SIMULIN...CSCJournals
Design a nonlinear controller for second order nonlinear uncertain dynamical systems is one of the most important challenging works. This paper focuses on the design, implementation and analysis of a chattering free sliding mode controller for highly nonlinear dynamic PUMA robot manipulator and compare to computed torque controller, in presence of uncertainties. In order to provide high performance nonlinear methodology, sliding mode controller and computed torque controller are selected. Pure sliding mode controller and computed torque controller can be used to control of partly known nonlinear dynamic parameters of robot manipulator. Conversely, pure sliding mode controller is used in many applications; it has an important drawback namely; chattering phenomenon which it can causes some problems such as saturation and heat the mechanical parts of robot manipulators or drivers. In order to reduce the chattering this research is used the linear saturation function boundary layer method instead of switching function method in pure sliding mode controller. These simulation models are developed as a part of a software laboratory to support and enhance graduate/undergraduate robotics courses, nonlinear control courses and MATLAB/SIMULINK courses at research and development company (SSP Co.) research center, Shiraz, Iran.

The fault location is an important part for any transmission line and distribution system. The location of fault is difficult task sometimes it takes lot of times needed for the exact location of the fault. The exact fault location can help the service man to overcome the fault free system in very less time. In this paper we are able to detect the fault range in easy way using the ESP module and the message is transferred on the mobile. This project is cost effective and reliable. In the field of electrical network, it is necessary, under different conditions, to learn about the behavior of the system. Power Flow Analysis is the tool per excellent that allow as to make a deep study and define all quantities of each bus of the system. To determine power flow analysis there is a lot of methods, we have either numerical or intelligent techniques. Lately, researchers always work on finding intelligent methods that allow them to solve their complex problems. The goal of this article is to compare two intelligent methods that are capable of predicting quantities; artificial neural network and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system using real electrical networks. To do that we used few significant discrepancies. These methods are characterized by giving results in real time. To make this comparison successful, we implemented these two methods, to predict the voltage magnitudes and the voltage phase angles, on two Moroccan electrical networks. The results of the comparison show that the method of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system have more advantages than the method of artificial neural network.

An electrical machine failure that is not identified in an initial stage may become catastrophic and it may suffer severe damage. Thus, undetected machine faults may cascade in it failure, which in turn may cause production shutdowns. Such shutdowns are costly in terms of lost production time, maintenance costs, and wasted raw materials. Doubly fed induction generators are used mainly for wind energy conversion in MW power plants. This paper presents a detection of an inter turn stator fault in a doubly fed induction machine whose stator and rotor are supplied by two pulse width modulation (PWM) inverters. The method used in this article to detect this fault, is based on Park’s Vector Approach , using a neural network s.

1. Problem: maintain a constant liquid tension
42012 IEEE Symposium on Industrial Electronics and Applications
A robot arm is tasked to apply the liquid glue on an
object with constant tension. There are a number of
ways to convert motor’s torque to linear tension:
Single Sensor less Motor is simple and cheap, but
the tension may fluctuate.
Single Motor with Sensors, the tension is under
control by the sensors but could be expensive.
Dual Motor System without Sensors is relatively
simple, smooth and not too expensive.

1. Solutions that we tried and failed
52012 IEEE Symposium on Industrial Electronics and Applications
a) The direct motor model calculation cannot follow the liquid
variation from the random interference and measurement errors
occurred in our factory;
b) Kalman filter can deal with random noise and measurement
errors, but it can not follow the variation of individual motor
parameter and its related aging factor;
c) The complicated adaptive model method can partially deal with
the individual variation, but it does not treat the random noise
and measurement error, as it may not converge properly due to
real time computation burden.
d) The error Back-Propagation (BP) algorithm is a popular training
method for feed-forward Neural Network (NN), but we found the
parameter trained for one motor does not fit the other.

obtained.
A neural network trained by PSO identifies the liquid

The simulation shows the approach is a viable
solution for high volume and precise tooling robot

New algorithm doubles the speed and the

The disadvantage is that the amount of statistics
