What defines motivation?
• Motivation is the reason for people's actions, willingness and goals
• Motivation could also be defined as a need that requires satisfaction
• These needs could be wants or desires (influenced by society, lifestyle,
culture…)
• It is also what causes a person to want to repeat a behavior, a set of force that
acts behind the motives

all time
• But there is one big question, was he motivational or abusive?
• He was firing people like nothing, only to make his products
the best ones
• Never took NO as an answer to his requirements
• Many managers took his idealistic behavior as the best way
how to motivate their employees
