This document summarizes several multi-robot system research projects presented at a seminar. It introduces common challenges in multi-robot research such as collaborative lifting of boxes, bouncing balls between robots, efficient patrolling, localization with constraints, coverage while maintaining connectivity, data ferrying in sensor networks, learning locomotion, resource sharing to improve performance, informed flocking in honeybees, hierarchical coverage control, music generation with agents, message passing in ROS, mapping with smart spheres, soft robot actuation, and optimal plant placement. General advice is given on crafting research projects, focusing on an open question and developing a testable hypothesis and methodology.
