Monday
 A- Total of 21 students, 11 girls and 10 boys. All of which speak English as their primary language
and none of them have any disabilities.
 S- I will introduce to my kindergarteners the concept of rhyming through a song, read-aloud, an
activity, and a game on smartboard. All of my students will be required to participate in all of
our lessons.
 S- Singing, game/activity, podcast, and blog. I am incorporating various ways of teaching to
target my students’ individual learning styles. I will want my students to have mastered rhyming
with 80% accuracy by the end of the week.
 U- Read-aloud (Hop on Pop, by Dr. Seuss), song (Do You Know), activity (Extend the Rhyme), and
smartboard.
 R- Students must participate in all of our lessons/activities to receive a sticker that goes in their
folders that are sent home.
 E- I will assess them individually during our whole group activity. I will do this through
observation if they can answer with a rhyming word. While using the smartboard I will be able
to tell which students are grasping the concept of rhyming.
