Marathi news maintained its #2 position with 18% genre share according to the snapshot of weeks 40-47 of 2013. Genre shares for Marathi news and other genres were almost neck to neck compared to the same period last year. ABP Majha ruled the Marathi market with a 33% share, significantly higher than the second ranked channel Zee 24 Taas at 23%. ABP Majha also led in reaching the most viewers, with audiences of 12 million for 4+ CS and 10 million for 15+ CS.
