Short term properties of High Calcium Flyashbased Geopolymer binderIOSRJMCE
The past decades of research is diverted primarily in making concrete without cement or atleast partially replacing by suitable alternatives. For its availability and problems associated with, flyash has been given priority to use in concrete in high volume or total replacement of cement resulting in geopolymer concrete using activated flyash of low calcium type as the source material. However, few are dealt on the high calcium flyash that too mainly on achieving the required compressive strength and not much on the short term engineering properties like consistency and setting characteristicseven though itis essential to establish the time available for placing, compaction and transport of geopolymer. Therefore, a fundamental study on the setting characteristics and strength development of high calcium flyash based geopolymer with varying concentration of Sodium hydroxide(8-14M),varying liquid ratios (1.5-3.0) of the activator and curing at ambient and 65oCtemperature is made.It is observed that the consistency of flyash based geopolymer increases with increase of concentration of NaOH and is not at all influenced by the liquid ratios considered but, the setting time is reduced by oven curing obviously. Also, the mortar strength is atleast 10% more for hot curing than ambient curing.
Synthesis and Characterization of Atmospheric Residue Hydrodemetalization (Ar...IOSR Journals
Synthesis and characterization of atmospheric residue hydrodemetalization (ARDHM) catalyst for crude oil processing have been carried out. The catalyst was synthesized by loading of small amount of Ni and Mo metals onto the Indonesian natural zeolite from Klaten (ZA sample). The natural zeolite was treated with 3M HCl solution to produce the ZAA sample. The Ni and Mo metal was impregnated onto the ZAA sample using (NH4)6Mo7O24.4H2O followed by Ni(NO3)2.6H2O precursor solution, then calcined at 450ºC for 5 h and reduced at 400ºC for 3 h produced the NiMo/ZAA catalyst. The zeolite samples were characterized by means of total acid amount determined by pyridine vapour adsorption, the TO4 site (T = Si or Al) analyzed by Infra Red Spectrometer (IR), Crystallinity by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and surface performance by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and metal content measured by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). The catalyst activity was tested in hydrodemetalization process using nickel porphyrin, tiophene or pyridine as petroleum residue model compounds carried out at 360, 370, 380 and 390ºC, LHSV 0.2 h-1. The HCl treatment to the ZA sample caused dealumination, did not defect the crystalline matter and increased total acid amount. Loading of Ni and Mo metal onto the ZAA sample increased acidity, did not defect the crystalline of mordenite and also did not block the zeolite pore. Nickel removal from nickel porphyrin (Np) was easier than N remofal from pyridine; on the other hand, nickel removal from nickel porphyrin was more difficult than S removal from pyridine. The spent catalyst was deactivated by coke deposition and it can be regenerated and reused

(N774) were incorporated with butadiene acrylonitrile rubber (NBR) in order to improve its physical properties. Young's modulus was
found to increase with nanofiller content. Percolation concentration was detected in mechanical as well as in Physico-chemical behavior.
The experimental values of the normalized Young's modulus fit well with Pukanszky et al. model; taking into consideration the difference
in carbon black-filler type. It is noticed that the characteristic time of swelling in toluene, τ is higher for NBR loaded with 30 phr ISAF
and for the rest of samples it increases with increasing of particle size. Finally oxygen ion beam irradiation for percolative loading NBR
nanocomposites increases Young's modulus nearly by 2-3 times.

CHARACTERIZATION & DURABILITY PROPERTIES OF ULTRAFINE FLY ASH BASED GEOPOLYME...Journal For Research
Huge scale generation of cement is creating environmental issue on one hand and depletion of natural resources on the other hand. This danger to nature has prompted research being made of industrial byproducts as supplementary cementetious materials in making concrete for more green and durable. Fly ash and silica fume both are pozzolanic materials which have been broadly utilized for improving the properties like strength and durability in concrete. Silica fume demonstrates the greater pozzolanic activity then fly ash because of its finer particle size distribution, the pozzolanic activity of fly ash also can be enhanced by decreasing the particle size distribution. Geopolymer is a class of aluminosilicate binding materials integrated by thermal action of solid aluminosilicate based materials such as metakoaline, GGBFS, fly ash. Geopolymer get activated with the alkaline solution and heat. Sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate were utilized as an alkaline solution with a steady ratio of 2.5 and the mix is designed for molarity 10 for the work carried out. In the present study, an attempt has been made to explore the geopolymer concrete by utilizing ultrafine fly ash (UFFA) produced by air classification and processed GGBFS with varied proportions. Discusses on the properties of geopolymer concrete has also been mentioned. Compressive strength and durability tests like Permeability, Abrasion, Sorptivity, Acid and sulphate attack, Drying shrinkage were conducted. In this work geopolymer concrete was prepared with varying proportions of GGBS and UFFA in the ratio of 92.5:7.5 and 88:12 and 80:20. The maximum strength was achieved for the ratio 92.5:7.5. The obtained compressive strength is in the range of 36.5MPa to 91.6MPa from 1st day to 28th day of hot curing.

Performance of alkaline solutions on grades of geopolymer concreteeSAT Journals
Abstract Geopolymer is a class of aluminosilicate binding materials synthesized by thermal activation of solid aluminosilicate base materials such as fly ash, metakaolin, GGBS etc., with an alkali metal hydroxide and silicate solution. The geopolymer was activated with sodium hydroxide, sodium silicate and heat. This paper presents the experimental investigation done on the variation of alkaline solution on mechanical properties of geopolymer concrete. The grades chosen for the investigation were M-30, M-40, M-50 and M-60, the mixes were designed for 8 molarity. The alkaline solution used for present study was the combination of sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide solution with the varying ratio of 2, 2.50, 3 and 3.50. The test specimens were 150x150x150 mm cubes and 100x200 mm cylinders heat-cured at 60°C in an oven. The results revealed that the workable flow of geopolymer concrete was in the range of 85 to 145 and was dependent on the ratio by mass of sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide solution. The freshly prepared geopolymer mixes were cohesive and their workability increased with the increase in the ratio of alkaline solution. The strength of geopolymer concrete can be improved by decreasing the water/binding and aggregate/binding ratios. The curing period improves the polymerization process resulting in higher compressive strength. The geopolymer concrete do not have any Portland cement, they can be considered as less energy interactive. It utilizes the industrial wastes such as fly ash for producing the binding system in concrete. The obtained compressive strength and split tensile strength were in the range of 20.64 – 60 N/mm2 and 3 – 4.9 N/mm2. The optimum dosage for alkaline solution can be considered as 2.5, because for this ratio the GPC specimens of any grade produced maximum strength in compression and tension. Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
