2. When you say Kerrang it almost sounds like
the strum on a guitar and guitars are a main
instrument in rock music. The fact that it is in
a quite a aggressive and in your face font.
There is also a exclamation mark at the end of
Kerrang further states the aggressive nature
of the masthead. The text is all capitals as
well to make it stand out.
3. This masthead uses a basic bold serif font. This
fits with the name of the magazine “Classic
Rock” the word classic could mean that it does
not need any strange colours or fonts because
the magazine is above that and wants to be
more sophisticated. The two stars also make the
word classic stand out more.
4. This magazine have chosen to use a very bold
basic serif font but interestingly they have also
chosen a white font over a black font which is
used for the other two magazines i have chosen
to analyse. The first line of the masthead is
more bold this could be because that is the part
the magazines producers want the audience to
see most compared to the second line.
