2. Pros and cons for this logo
Pros
- The masthead is very bold and clear.
- The masthead is sharp and suits the physical nature of rock and roll.
Cons
- The font isn’t bold enough to represent as my masthead.
- The letters I and J look too similar and people would interpret the J as an I.
- If the cenobyte font is small in size it is very hard to read due to the added features
around the letterings.
Why is this appropriate for your genre/audience?
The font I believe represents the heavy and death metal genre very well and can
make a good subheading, however I won’t use this font due to it being hard to read
in smaller fonts.

- The font is very suspicious looking which relates well to the rock genre.
- The font design is similar to splashes which highlights the unclean and dirty
nature of rock.
- The font is very easily readable
- The font will look nice as subheading text.
Cons
-The font looks very ordinary.
- The font isn’t very eye catching despite its being unique.
- The genre is to neat with the lettering perfectly lined, rock music shouldn’t
care if the lettering is neat.
Why is this appropriate for your genre/audience?
It also matches my genre well and similar to cenobyte it can’t be my masthead
font but due to it looking tidy yet still keeping its rock image It can make good
text.

5. Pros and cons for this logo
Pros
-The smudge effect compliments the Skid font very well.
- The dry brush font looks very messy and untidy a general stereotype to rock music.
- The dry brush is very eye caching and would grab the attention of the reader.
Cons
- Some of the letters look half done, especially half Rs looking very difficult to read.
Why is this appropriate for your genre/audience?
My audience won’t particularly love the font but it does represent the genre very well and dry
brush and Moms typewriter were the only fonts in which I could associate the two together.

6. Pros and cons for this logo
Pros
-The font is very creepy and represents the Goth genre very well.
- The features are reflecting the sharp feeling I wanted in the magazine.
Cons
- The font doesn’t suit a magazine of rock but more of a horror.
- The font looks very Goth but too classical and I'm aiming the style of the magazine at young
teenagers and young adults.
Why is this appropriate for your genre/audience?
It has the same qualities as all the other fonts I’ve chosen but the other fonts are more blurred
and the fonts are more bold so I may use it as a standout feature but I don’t believe the font is
essential.
