remarkable! Shy little ones who barely spoke back in September are now approaching me and telling
me all about their weekend and their best play date party EVER!
It has been an exciting month in the rainforest! Measurements are all around us and the children have
been measuring up to everything in the classroom. Every day the children have been experimenting
with real objects to gain understanding measurement concepts. To begin this week s lesson, the
children measure and compare the circumference of objects, they measure the distance objects travel,
and they explored the concept of volume by measuring how much of a certain material fits into a
different container.

As New Yorkers, we have seen the all too familiar sight of homelessness and those who are affected
by it on a daily basis. We see homeless people sleeping on the subway cars, on park benches, on dirty
pavements, begging for food and money, pushing carts with garbage, dragging around the little they
have everywhere they go. They are the panhandlers, the mentally ill, the uneducated and unmotivated
who fell through the cracks, the substance abusers, society s filth, and the bottom of the barrel. This is

after treatment process. The scope of our project is to reduce emissions in both gasoline and diesel
engines. In the after treatment process, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology dominates the
heavy duty diesel engines and catalytic convertor plays an important role in the current era of gasoline
engines. In this an attempt made to reduce NOx emissions by SCR technology. In this work, we used
Zeolite ZSM 5 as catalyst which was assisted by urea injection in the exhaust tail pipe. It has been
observed that 10 to 12% of NOx was reduced compared to existing engine set up.

After advances in the world of psychiatry, new interests in the field of psychology, new medications
thought to cure mental disease, and much frustration with the M Naghten Rule, the courts adopted a
new standard The Durham Test. The test provided that:
A person was not criminally responsible if the unlawful act was a product of mental disease or defect.

Method Sample and research design This study is based on survey responses from 1606 Kosovan
entrepreneurs who completed questionnaire in face to face interviews during December January 2002
2003, 2003 2004, 2004 2005 (thereafter 2002, 2003 and 2004). SME surveys were conducted by
Riinvest Institute for Development Research and one of the authors had a leading role in this research
project. Samples were selected randomly from the business register kept at the Statistical Office of
Kosova and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (2005). Interviews were conducted by experienced and
trained final year students from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Prishtina and monitored
carefully by the Riinvest research team. Respondents were key informants, mainly the owner or the
general of companies. The response rate was very high with an average of 96.4 percent. The exclusion
of these observations might lead to sample selection bias, but in our case this is not a concern as the
non response rate is very small (around 3.6 per cent of total cases) and also our sample remains still

the tanks did not need to be emptied. Heaters were located in the tank in order to heat the inside of it
to keep the oxygen flowing and this would only be used for short periods of time. The plan was to use
these heaters to essentially boil off any excess oxygen, this would then need 8 hour of 65 volt DC
power. The thermostatically controlled switches on the heater were only made for 28 volt DC power
so this led people to believe they were damaged from that mistake. This would then cause the switches
to weld shut meaning the temperature would rise over 1000 degrees F inside the tank.

India. Not only does Roy address the importance of small things , but she also gives the title The God
of Small Things to Velutha, an untouchable who is amongst the lowest social class of India according
to the caste system. Although Velutha s social status is practically worthless, him being given the title,
God of small things represents all the small things within the story that are overlooked. In a society
where big things such as information about social caste system, wealth, religion, political standings,
and marriage are important, Roy repeatedly emphasizes the small things having the most impact on
the characters within the story. Take Baby Kochamma, Comrade Pillai, and Velutha for example, the
society they live in are mostly concerned on social status and politics as opposed to important minute

Japan: Pre World War II
Modern Japan is predominantly known as the Meiji Era in 1868. Before this era, Tokugawa
governments (between 1503 and 1868) adopted Confucianism and were mostly based on dogmas of
social hierarchy and harmony. (Henderson, 1965). These dogmas forced potential accusers in a court
to withhold litigation against wrongdoers and preserve societal harmony. This system viewed advents
of litigation as a disruption of societal harmony, therefore this was strongly discouraged. The
Tokugawa era did not have a term for individual rights (Misuzu, 1971), illustrating how litigation was
