This study develops an integrated GIS micro watershed model to support decision
making for community planning. Clean drinking water is a scare natural resource
for people living in villages in rural eastern Uganda. When clean water is available
it reduces mortality rates to water born and water related diseases including
cholera, diarrhoea and malaria (UNDP UNEP Poverty Environment Initiative,
2004). Unfortunately, a safe water supply is not always available to a community.
This study will run a risk assessment to identify locations where existing water
points are susceptible to hazards. Where risks are identified, the study will identify
the ideal locations for future clean water wells and other community life facilities.
The purpose of this research is to create a model with low data requirements that
can be used to improve community planning in almost any context, especially data
deficient areas. This research builds upon the research of legacy GIS watershed
models. In the 1980s GIS models began to be applied to watershed studies. But
these models were designed for data rich areas and as a result have high data
requirements. The inputs and criteria for the water point site suitability analysis will
be: proximity to water, water flow, land use, landslide risk zoning, and proximity to

worked at I had to handout water bottles to the runners after they finished their
race. As each runner came to the end of the race they all had smiles on their faces.
However, there was one contestant that came in last place and started to cry as he
crossed the finish line. I went up to him to hand him a water bottle and said, You
ran like the wind today. he replied sobbing, I m not going to qualify for States with
this time. I saw that he was upset with his results so I said, Cheer up, you still have
three more events to qualify. With those words I handed him my large blueberry
slushy. As I walked away I looked back and waved, he smiled back, and I could tell

Buckingham s Desire for Revolution Shakespeare wrote many plays during his
lifetime, but possibly none as complex and busy as Richard III. It is an intricate
play where many different characters are portrayed in many different roles. One of
those characters is the Duke of Buckingham, a villain and for the majority of the
play the trusted accomplice for Richard. In almost every scene in which
Buckingham was portrayed, he proved himself to be a rebellious villain over and

the class of the Colonel, a class so low that is considered to be unnoticed in the
Colonel s eyes, Belisa Crepusculario had been born into a family so poor they did

struggle in accepting herself despite the opinions of others. Rethinking Normal is a
symbol of transitioning and accepting your true self as normal despite
