Repetition in David Lves Plays Words, Words, Words and...
David Ives really experiments with repetition throughout all of his plays. Two examples of these
plays would be Words, Words, Words and Sure Thing Form his collection of plays called All in the
Timing. There are many different examples of repetition in each play. Ives repeats one certain thing
and makes this repetition mean many different things. In Sure Thingthere is the repetition of the bell
, which represent how we tend to make snap judgments on people, and how we all strive for
perfection. He also uses the repetition of the words sure thing to represent how nothing in life can
really be considered a sure thing. In contrast in Words, Words, Words Ives uses the repetition of the
Monkeys typing to represent how sometimes luck gets us to where we need to be. Ives also uses
the repetition of Milton exhibiting typical Monkey behavior to show how we can repetition as a
form of manipulation
The bell rings twenty eight times in Sure Thing. Every time Bill says something that Betty does
not find desirable the bell will ring and Bill gets another chance to woo her. Ives uses the
repetition of the bell ringing to show how we as humans make snap judgments on people. As
soon as we learn one fact about a person we base everything they say on that one fact and that it
is very hard to come back from a bad first impression. Bill s ability to gage Betty s reaction allows
him to manipulate her to make himself seem more desirable. This results in him succeeding and

Deforestation In The Amazon
Individuals have been deforesting the Earth for a large number of years, fundamentally to clear
land for yields or domesticated animals. Deforestation is the lasting devastation of timberlands
with a specific end goal to make the area accessible for different uses; what s more, as indicated
by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization an expected 18 million sections of land
of backwoods, which is generally the nation s extent of Panama, are lost every year; Although
tropical woods are to a great extent bound to creating nations, they aren t simply meeting nearby or
national needs; monetary globalization implies that the needs and needs of the worldwide populace
are hunkering down on them also.

Inevitably the impact could reach out outside the locale, influencing vital rural zones and different
watersheds. At the 1998 worldwide atmosphere arrangement meeting in Buenos Aires, Britain,
refering to an irritating learn at the Institute of Ecology in Edinburgh, proposed the Amazon
rainforest could be lost in 50 years because of movements in precipitation examples instigated by an
Earth wide temperature boost and land transformation; therefore, numerous individuals trust that to
counter deforestation, individuals essentially need to plant more trees and deal with the earth; on
the other hand, if a monstrous replanting exertion would help to mitigate the issue deforestation
brought about, it would not understand all of them. This arrangement of activity will encourage
restoring the environment administrations gave by woodlands, including carbon stockpiling, water

Identify Your Strengths At Work
Finding your passion is a process that works from the inside out. Getting to know your likes and
dislikes allows you to pick jobs that complement your strengths. However, if we don t know
ourselves well enough to identify those strengths we may need to look at what we do for a
living to see what we are good at. Strengths usually become strengths because we spend a lot of
time in that area, and we normally only invest time in areas we are passionate about. Let s look
at an example analyzed a strength I found by analyzing my roles and behaviors at work. I m here
because I believe in you! I said. If you want something bad enough, and you push yourself hard
enough, you will achieve it! the students gawked at me. My voice weaved high and low as I
stood in front of my third grade students. They began to clap at the end of my speech on respect
and perseverance, and wanted to reach my expectations. You will know when you have tapped
into your passion because others will respond to your energy. Another way to identify your
strength at work is by paying attention to the compliments you receive from coworkers. Think
of an area where many of your co workers come to you for help. Is it for advice about how to solve
a conflict? About how to fix a specific machine part? Or for proofreading an email? Your strengths
in these areas are not by chance.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

destruction. The Huguenots attacked properties such as churches and assaulted priests. On the
other hand, Catholics directly attacked the Huguenots through methods of stoning and interruptions

the Huguenots and the Catholics. Massacres took place throughout France and the three religious

The Sidewalk Racer Analysis
Views of Being Alone
The two poems and the passage I read are alike. The characters in the poems The Sidewalk Racer
, When I Read , and the character in a passage from Z for Zachariah have different point of views.
There are similarities and differences in the way the characters view being alone.
First, in the poem, The Sidewalk Racer by Lillian Morrison, the author addresses the meaning of
being alone by writing about someone who is riding a skateboard and likes being alone. In the
poem the speaker says, I m the one and only single engine human automobile. This has meaning.
If the rider was riding with someone, they wouldn t be the one and only. Because of this, I think
this person enjoys being alone. Because the author wrote in a positive tone, I think the character
likes it. This person is obviously excited about what she does. This person views themselves as
superior when they re alone I suppose.
Second, in the poem, When I Read by Lillian Morrison, the author addresses the meaning of
being alone by writing about someone who runs but reads books. They like to be alone in my
opinion. In the poem, the speaker says But when I read then I m a diver! . This person is ... Show

O Brien, the author addresses the meaning of being alone by writing about someone who s
isolated and sees life. In the passage, the girl says, At first when all the others went away, I hated
being alone, and I watched the road all day and most of the night hoping that a car, anybody,
would come over the hill from either direction. She uses the words at first . Earlier in the
passage, she can see someone gradually getting closer to her land, she thinks about how if he
doesn t come, she d be okay. She was afraid of him. Even though she was excited at first, she
became skeptical and wondered if he was a psychopath. Clearly, she d rather be alone. She
definitely has a different point of view compared to the other

Compare And Contrast The Southern Colonies
Southern Colonies Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia Virginia was
the first successful southern colony, Maryland became at first a catholic experiment and then
quickly mirrored Virginia for its cash crops. The Carolinas had been created after the english civil
war ended. Challenges from France and Spain led the king to want a buffer zone between the cash
crop Carolinas and enemies, thus Georgia was created. Southern colonies depended on slaves
whether it was for the economy, society, or their own personal needs. Southerners who did not have
slaves still depended on them just on the soul fact that they were beneath them and made them feel
better about their place in society. The economy in the south depended on slavery for the cotton
growing areas and slave trading. Slavery played an important role in all of the Southern colonies.

Argumentative Speech About Hawaiians
How are you doing? I m doing okay. I m sorry for not sending you a letter sooner, but the days
have been super busy lately. I have gotten ill on the journey to Hawaii, but luckily the illness
went away shortly after we arrived. My body figure has noticeably gotten skinnier from my
usual buff posture because of famine during the voyage. I also haven t been able to trim my hair,
so now it is very long and untamable. He seems to be quite fond of us and our mission. I am
currently sheltered in a hotel room provided by the king himself, Liholiho. Most of the
Hawaiians have taken a liking to our way of life, too. They are quite peculiar. Can you believe
that the Hawaiians wear loincloths and mini dresses on the daily? I find that to be very
obnoxious and offensive. I thought that it was blatant knowledge to not show skin. Some
Hawaiians, however, have tried to protest against us. Maybe they re just biased. We ll convert
them soon enough. Regardless, I just wanted to inform you that so far, our mission to convert the
Hawaiians has been going quite well. Their economy is a lot different from the economy that we
have back in England. First of all, the Hawaiians don t have many schools. Our teachers and some
of the missionaries are working with the Hawaiians to try and get schools created. Second of all,
the Hawaiians have a kapusystem, which is pretty similar to our law system, but theirs is a lot more
strict. Isn t it ridiculous how one of their kapu states that men and women

Technology And Physics Behind The Compact Disc
Good morning students and teachers, today I will be talking to you about the technology and
physics behind the Compact disc otherwise known as the CD
Everybody knows that the CD is slowly fading out and being replaced by a digital world where
files and streams are the main methods of music delivery. But the CD is not yet done.
What is a CD? A CD is a thin circular disc comprised of metal and plastic, the CD is about 12cm in
diameter and is usually made up of 3 layers, it is capable of storing up to 74 minutes of audio but
usually only has 50 minutes stored on it to make sure it is at optimal function, the digital data that
can be stored on a CD is; 44 100 samples per second, therefore, you can store 682 MB on a CD that
is capable of 74 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lacquer is used rather than the polycarbonate due to the positioning of the metal film.
The metal layer of the CD is the layer that contains the data. CD data is represented as tiny
indentations known as pits , these pits are encoded in a spiral track that if unrolled from it spiral
would be around 5.5 km long, the spiral is moulded into the top of the polycarbonate layer, these
are microscopic and usually expressed in the measurement of a micron Вµm which is 1 millionth
of a meter. The areas between pits are known as lands . The pits are even smaller than the lands
and are approximately 100 nm deep by 500 Вµm wide, and vary from 850 Вµm to 3.5 Вµm in
length. The measurement of the pit represents the binary information of the data stored on the disc.
The optical system employs a highly coherent light source and the pits are made approximately a
quarter wavelength deep. The readout beam axis is nominally aligned to be perpendicular to the
disc plane. When there are no pit land edges in the spot, all of the reflected beam will share the
same phase. The phase of the reflected beam will, however, change by 180 degrees when the spot
moves from pit to land or vice versa. When the optical spot traverses a pit land edge the magnitude
of the beam reflected back into the sensor will momentarily drop almost to zero...The reflected
beam then consists of two portions, equal in magnitude but opposite in phase.
Both

NoSQL databases. NoSQL meets the requirements of the large scale distributed computing
environment, which provides scalability, high availability, high performance and reliability.
NoSQL databases are increasingly used in big data and real time web applications. Using NoSQL
provides the benefit of storing data in schema less structure. NoSQL is not a brand new database
technology; yet, it provides the possibility and flexibility of handling complex semi structured data
and optimizes solutions to different types of data in this massive and data intensive era of large
scale computing.
Introduction:
MongoDB is a structure free and it is a cross platform document oriented database. MongoDB is

The Muslim leaders wanted to form a permanent political forum. The anti Muslim activities of
Congress too gave emphasis to the need of a political platform for the Muslims from where
Muslims could protect their interests. Consultations were held between the Muslim leaders of
Shimla Deputation after their meeting with the Viceroy among themselves as to the probability of
establishing a political association.
The reasons for the establishment of Muslim league are as follows:
1.INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE OF THE CONGRESS TOWARDS MUSLIMS:
All India National Congress was dominantly Hindu body from scratch. Their interests were always
opposite to the interests of the Indian Muslims. By 1906, Muslim leaders were influenced that they
must have their own party which may speak for the public on all important events.

Barbie Doll Marge Piercy Analysis
In the story barbie doll by Marge Piercy it s about a young normal girl growing up playing with
dolls and pretend make up. It takes a shocking turn when she is made fun of during her youth
adulthood, for have a big nose and fat legs. Futher into the poem she cut off her legs and nose and
a very unusual illustration of her laying in a casket with an conclusion that express to every womana
happy ending . Within society a women desire to be flawless when it comes to looks. There s so
much pressure and eagerness when it comes to a femalefulfilling that image of looking like
barbie. There is proof to this statement with the poet s use of irony, imagery and the impact of
words having a bad outcome on the self esteem of females.
Piercy s use of irony is detected within the title itself barbie doll . I envision it to revolve around
the ideal barbie image alot of people make great efforts to achieve. However, this is where the
true irony comes in. Barbies are popular for their unnatural slim bodies and perfect features and
because they are played with by little girls, that image becomes the image teenagers and girls look
for. Yet, in the poem the girldoes not have barbie doll features. a fat nose on thick legs, (835) is
what she was being teased about because she hit puberty. Then in the magic of puberty Puberty is
when your body begins to change into an adult and there s nothing magical about that, especially
for the little girl because it caused her to be teased for her appearences.
In the last few lines of the poem, piercy refers to a happy ending it is a depressing thought.
Consummation at last. To every woman a happy ending (24 25) is very sarcastic and pessimistic.
She is basically saying that at last the end has come and its a feeling of pleasure since the girl got
her wish, but at what cost did she become a barbie.
The poet s use of imagery is all over the poem when we reflect on the girl childhood and how she
was teased for her fat nose on thick legs she doesn t resemble a barbie doll with perfect nose and
legs. Her good nature wore out like a fan belt. (15 16) There s imagery in this line because a fan
belt breaks quickly when it comes in contact with oil. So the on going disapproval

Peter Singer Animal Liberation Essay
This argument: that rational beings must be considered ends in themselves, was the lifeblood of the
movements of the 1970s that sought to bring oppressed groups under the umbrella of equal moral
consideration. These prolonged and often violent debates revolved around demands for equality
through which oppressed groups could attain their liberation. As such it is not surprising that the
movement for animal liberation stems from these concerns. In fact, they are explicitly allied with
them. Peter Singer s seminal text Animal liberation is deliberately called so to evoke memories of
the fortitude and determination of these earlier movements for humanliberation. Singer emphasises
rationality and self consciousness of some animals as evidence... Show more content on

Why Youth Do Not Vote
Intro
Youth in industrialized countries currently are more educated than any generation has ever been.
While education levels have risen, the conventional wisdom is that this would cause levels of
voter turnout and party attachment to climb, however, this has not been the case. (Nevitte 1996,
50 51) Despite the great deal of research on this topic, there is not consensus on the answer to this
question. In these interviews I attempted to look at how different forms of participation were
viewed by members of the LBGTQ+ community, in order to draw some inferences about why
youth are less likely to vote.
Hypothesis
LBGTQ+ students will be less likely to participate in traditional forms of political participation,
such as writing to an MP or becoming active in a Political Party, as a way to address equity issues.
Instead they will be more likely to engage in more grassroots, individual acts of activism.
Case selection
Addressing the question of why youth do not vote is a large task and one that would require much
more than two interviews. I chose to focus down onto the LBGTQ+ community as a most likely
case to find low levels of traditional political involvement and high levels of interpersonal grassroots
activism. Due to social views on being homosexual, gender queer, or transsexual, etc., until quite
recently, the LBGTQ+ community was totally excluded from traditional politics. This total
exclusion from traditional political involvement, means that it is more likely that

Persuasive Essay On Adhd
ADHD: The Often Misdiagnosed Disorder What is ADHD? Sirs data base reports that ADHD is

this day, the cause of attentiondeficit hyperactivitydisorder (ADHD) is still unknown. There is also
a lot of controversy over the topic of ADHD, stating that some believe the mental illness is at the

For starters, parents and doctors should think about ADHD as early as preschool. Firstly, thinking
about ADHD problems at a very young age can help at children who have trouble keeping friends,
and trouble in school. For example, Perri Klass, journalist for the New York Times, shares that
when first treating a preschooler with ADHD it would be beneficial for them to do behavioral
therapy first, and medication last. Thus, this point proves that medication is necessary, but is not
the first step when treating a child. Secondly, nine percent of American children between the ages
of four and eighteen are affected by ADHD. For instance, Susan Pinker, journalist for the Wall
Street Journal, reports that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is one of the most common and
most misunderstood disease. Therefore, this confirms that some people may have it, and others
may not. Thirdly, do children grow out of ADHD when they are a child? To illustrate, Susan Pinker,
tells that the statement is a myth. The older you get, you are more likely to think about life
consequences rather than when you were a child. Consequently, this information shows that

Thomas Friedman’S Introduction Started With A Brief History
Thomas Friedman s introduction started with a brief history of how we found out that the world is
round. He then went from talking about the 1400s to the present time and finished his paragraph
with The world is flat. (Pg.33). Obviously, we all know that the world is round, so this caught my
attention because I wanted to understand what he was about to explain. He spoke about how
technology and globalizationchanged people s lives and many people didn t realize it. His first two
paragraphs were difficult for me to understand because I was mainly visualizing the historic events.
And I couldn t see how he related globalization to the earth being round or flat.

Businesses now work more effective and cheap due to the competitive prices of resources that
have become more easily accessible. In the business sector a globalization effect that has
personally affected me is the advancement in transportation. We have jet engines, container ships
that move product from country to another. Depending on which perspective I m seeing through
globalization, it is either a pro or a con. If I see transportation globalization as an employee then
it is a con for myself, because jobs are being given to people in other countries for less. Then from
a consumer perspective, I benefit from transportation globalization because now the product is
cheaper and now I am paying less.
On a daily basis transportation globalization affects me on a more personal level. For example,
when I order something online and the store doesn t have the item on stock then they will use the
internet to strategize supply and demand to a certain area. And then as soon as I order my item,
the store will instantly deliver my item either to my shipping address or to the closest store
available to me. Another way that transportation globalization affects me directly is through the use
of mobile applications such as Uber and Lyft. Through the use of these applications, I can get
transportation rides from one destination to another. We have rental vehicles at our commodity and
there is even a specific mobile application where we can rent another person s vehicle

By freeing up payroll dollars I would hire an experienced accountant that would provide better
projections based on more accurate data. I feel an experienced accountant that had worked in the
food service industry would have been able to advise them that they did not need to budget on a
yearly sales forecast that was divided by 52 weeks in the year. This shows poor budgeting skills
because they are trying to obtain a heavy student mix and the students are not in the area for the
entire year.
Financial forecasting is such an integral part of any successful start up business and there are major
issues with the way it has been done.
I would also look at the existing data from sales to see if the original market segmentation has
followed through to the actual sales numbers. With the influx of students during the school year and
the absence of students over the holidays and summer, if the tapas area is not producing the
necessary sales then the restaurant might need to devote more space to the fine dining
establishment. As it currently stands, the tapas bar is composed of 75% of the floor space, except
in the summer when it commands 80% of the floor space, which includes the patio area. The fine
dining area is limited to only 25% of the sales, except during the summer when it

Legally Blonde
In the acclaimed 2001 film, Legally Blonde, the main character, Elle Woods, is a fantastic
feminine icon for women. The film represents the struggle females face to prove their abilities.
Remarkably, Elle never succumbs to those who adamantly see her as being foolish and not good
enough. Rather, she pursues her goals with pure confidence. As she states in a meeting with her
UCLA advisor, I don t need back ups, I m going to Harvard. Elle knows she can achieve anything
with hardwork and determination, even if others only respond with dubiety or ridicule. Legally

Her original motivations, craving to get back her ex boyfriend, Warner, veer to striving to
succeed in law school. What Elle could not see for so long is that Warner does not care about
her. He breaks up with her not because a change of heart, but rather because she s the hot sorority
girl girlfriend he gets to hook up with in undergraduate school, and she is not what he refers to
as the Jackie Kennedy he would marry if he wants to be taken seriously as a politician. Warner s
rationale for proposing to Vivian is the same rationale for why he broke up with Elle. He just
wanted to have the right wife for his political image. Elles mentality completely changes when
she is having a conversation with Warner about school. He disdains her by calling her not smart

Third Way
The Third Way for Social Change
To the third way of Jesus which refuses to fight or flight, we owe a balanced life in our humble
self image as bearers of God and worthy of dignity. Is there a composed and rational middle way
between fight and flight? For years, standing up against certain ideas is common in our arguments,
and debates, both historically and in modern times, as we see with terms like anti bullying, anti war,
anti racist. In fact, Most of the heat is generated by the polar opposites. For example in the atheist

My understanding is that some scrutiny means the third way. Early leaders rejected the grip of
catholic church state control over people s lives. Their ideas and insistence on separation between
church and state is an attempt for the third way. We still believe that all mankind, because of
Adam s fall, has inherited a sinful nature, and all people are sinful, and any sin is exceedingly
offensive to God. With sins came the gross social inequality, the wars and despotism, that curse
our existence. For most of our life we supported ourselves by the belief that salvation is a gift of
God s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Our life is a life that the masses have traditionally
regarded as nasty, brutish, and short full with fears and blindness to see ourselves in unexpected
places. We deceive ourselves when we think that we have to protect God standards. God is
bigger than our imperfect interpretations which are based on fears. God and the people do not
have the same perspectives on how to live life. There are many kinds of fears such as fears. The
fear of God must become a basis for us. Another fear is the fear of shame about our bodies, our
instincts, and our behaviors. My understanding is that the body of Christ like any human body
performed different functions for different behaviors but there was no part who can say to
another part I do not need you. When the body parts was first made, all the body parts wanted to
be boss. The Brain, the Feet, the Hands, the Eye, and so it went with the Heart, the Ear, and the
Lungs, then the last opening in the digestive system spoke up and demanded to be the boss. All
the body parts laughed at the idea. We all know when that opening is blocked and refused to
function. Soon, all body parts strive to keep just working, then every part is satisfied to let that part
be the boss.

A Naval economic sealing was the one way to vanquish France. American merchants tried to go
around the economic sealing but the British formed new laws called Orders in council to block that
trading. Anytime the British warships stopped American merchants they took the British sailors
for the Navy. Most of the men that were brought were British, the rare American would be there
occasionally. Most British sailors who were found were breaking the law by leaving the Royal
Navy. Britain and France were consumed in war, there was no in between. American statesmen
admitted (non publicly) the American merchants were British subjects. Many British people
thought the Orders in council law should be let loose somewhat and the law was demolished the
month of June 1812. Everyone knew Britain was true as they got their sailors but America was
blamed for letting them out while the war was ongoing. Ten complete years of Americans
caviling and diminution on the fiscal part of living was only proving that James Madison and
Thomas Jefferson were solely advocates for France and Britain were America s sworn enemy.

Analysis Of Tongues By John Lyons
Out of curiosity, two friends decide to sneak through the back door of a recently deserted old
mansion. They explore in silence for fear of the unknown. The first person ahead constantly looks
back at the second person. What is bound to go through the second person s mind? Is it unsafe
ahead? Is something wrong? What is the person ahead trying to communicate? That is an example
of how a horsewould feel when led by a human who looks back at him. Remember, horses rely on
good leadership for survival. So, with the human constantly looking back, it tells the horse that the
person is not safe to follow. The human is not a leader. Leadership is guiding another with
confidence. Clear communication achieves harmony with the horse through body language... Show

Humans typically think of horses as just animals. Firstly, horses are intelligent creatures with
different personalities, abilities, and sensitivities. Humans should realize that each horse has a
different need and that each training requirement is different. In the second place, people often
comment that their horses are too senseless to need a choice. A while back, I read a story about
a mare who was dying from fighting an illness and exhaustion. Before she died, she walked for
days across exposed moors leading her foal to the safety of a farm where she died less than
twenty four hours later. She died after knowing her foal was safe. Does that sound like a senseless
horse? A horse with that much intelligence, to have no choice during training? It is inconceivable.
Horses are not incapable of understanding communication; it is up to the human not to send out
mixed signals. In the third place, when the human sends the horse away during equine training,
the person is giving the horse a choice. Either the horse will stay away or come back to safety.
When the person gives the horse a choice, the horse is very willing to work. Another example is
when a horse is standing next to the human, and the horse starts to bump the person with his head;
signs of trying to dominate the human, the person will move the horse away. The first inclination
of the animal is to come back where the person is

Pros And Cons Of Influencer Marketing

But it doesn t mean that influencer marketing is dead. Influencer marketing agencies are success
drivers first because they are trusted to choose the right influencers. As long as audiences trust their
influencers, influencer marketing will not be dead. It is down to the agencies but the influencers
also play their part. Another aspect to consider is that influencer marketing agencies that have a
more manual approach will progressively put themselves out of business. Technological businesses
will gradually replace them because they know how to get a one to one relationship with the
influencers but also to identify them through technology. Many people tend to conciliate influence
with popularity. Influencers are not only ideas maker; they also have a highly engaged community.
The first objective of influencer marketing is not only to generate viral content but to interact and

Most Basic Turn In Ballet
The most basic turn in ballet is the pirouette, which is a turn around a vertical axis with one
supporting foot on the floor. The pirouette is a highly complex and highly organized skill that
involves the simultaneous coordination of the head, arms, trunk, knees, and feet (Denari Correa,
2013). There are three stages of a pirouette: the preparation, turn, and landing.
Preparation
The position and movements preceding the actual turn in the pirouette is called the preparation. To
start, place your feet in fourth position, in which the left foot is in front of the right with slightly
more than one foot in between the two feet. According to one study, successful turns were executed

Spotting involves choosing one point at which to direct your focus while you turn. As you turn,
keep your focus on that one spot and, when you can t look at it any longer, whip your head around
and find the spot again. The main purpose of spotting is to prevent dizziness, since research has
shown that it does not affect the amount of turns generated. The results from a study suggest that
spotting has a negligible effect in generating angular momentum during the double support phase of
a pirouette. Another source concurred that the rotational momentum of a turn is a quantity, and that
the total rotational momentum of the body can only change if external torque acts on the body.
Thus, there is no way that changes in body position alone, which occurs when a dancer spots their
head, can change the total rotational momentum (Laws Sugano,

Consumer Culture In Pop Art
The pop movement established itself during the rapid multinational corporate American expansion
of the late 1950 s to mid 1960 s (Mamiya 1992, 14). Recognised for their study of subjects of
popular culture and incorporation of commercial techniques. (Burton 2007, 113), Pop artists

culture within Pop Artand possible reasons for the diversity in reaction. This will be achieved
through the study of the influence of consumer culture on the Pop artists, the artists response to this
emerging culture, as well as the positive and critical representations of consumer culture within

Prohibition Of Alcohol In The 1920 s
During the 1920s, a national ban on alcohol was rumored to reduce crime and corruption, solve
social problems, and improve health and hygiene in America. This era of banned alcohol, was called
Prohibition. This law passed, banning all production on alcohol was enforced, leading to illegal
production of alcohol, executed in many different ways. This time era and circumstances have
roughly shaped America today. When Prohibition first went into effect, the alcohol consumption
rate was 30 percent lower than before. It started with religious leaders leading the movement. By the
1900s, temperance societies were common in communities across the United States. Women played
a large part in the temperance movement, alcohol was seen as a negative force in marriage. There
was an Anti Saloon League that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Factory owners also supported Prohibition in order to prevent accidents and increase the quality
of their workers. World War I also added fuel to the Prohibitionist s movements. Ideas spread that
the brewing and distilling industries were taking precious grain, molasses, and labor from
wartime production. The nation was not going to give up that easily, alcohol was available
through a physician s prescription and there were now bootleggers to produce alcohol and
speakeasies to serve it. During Prohibition, doctors were able to prescribe liquor to patients on a
specially designed government prescription form that could be filled at any pharmacy. When
medicinal whiskey stocks were low, the government would increase its production. Alcohol
prescriptions soared and a significant amount of the supplies meant for the sick were taken by
bootleggers. Keep in mind that this was during the Depression, there was no funding of jobs,
bootleggers were supplying jobs and making money. Churches and clergy also had a provision. It

to begin with, in a statistic brain article the author, Seth mentions, The average number of
animals that fall victim to hoarding is 250,000. There are many missed placed animals that need
loving homes and shelters try to provide that for each animal. Although, when trying to achieve
this goal they often take more then they can chew. Mrs. Tempesta stated, That the shelter often
takes in more animals then their quota allows if animals comes in critical condition.
Overcrowding often leads to a shortage in supplies for the shelters. This leads to the animals not
being taken care of to the best of their abilities once again. According to Four Paws Rescue inc,
they are always looking for donations to keep their animals well taken. This is a great way to get

Interview
I interviewed, Kathy Wehrman, for the final research project. (Wehrman K., personal
communication, March 18, 2016) She is the Associate Assistant Director of Human Resources at
Luxottica and has recently been promoted to this position in January of 2016. Wehrman has been in
the workforce for nearly 17 years and has worked at Luxottica for 4 years. A job description of
Wehrman s current position entails the responsibility of maintaining and enhancing the Luxottica s
human resources program. Obligations include planning, developing and implementing employee
relations, policies, programs and strategies.

advice on ways to handle each ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Wehrman states, it s important in this step to make a connection with your interviewer so it can
potentially convince them to hire you . The fourth step Wehrman mentions is that she received a
phone call from the hiring manager immediately after sending her thank you email. During this
phone call, Wehrman was offered a job as a human resource specialist.
Wehrman explains how negotiation was intertwined into the interview process. She said the
subject of salary was brought up by the hiring manager at the of the end of the phone call where
she was offered the job. Wehrman wasn t happy with the offer she received so she told the hiring
manager she will have to get back to them. She explains that this was her time to think about her
approach on how she wanted to negotiate the starting salary and benefit package she deserved.
Wehrman confuses that she was unsure about the company s budgets and salary guidelines so
she had to do research in order to establish a salary and have evidence to support her claim. She
reviewed salaries on the glassdoor website where she found a salary base to her job position.
Then she closely reviewed the benefit package she was offered and made adjustments to where she
saw merit to her qualifications. Wehrman called the hiring manager back the following day. She

Euthyphro Interpretative Essay
Interpretive essay for Euthyphro
Euthyphro, a priest in Plato s dialogue, strives throughout the reading to teach his religion to
Socrates. Since Euthyphro portrays himself to be the most intelligent human to mankind, Socrates
believes that he must know every words meaning and that guides Socrates to ask him about a word
he is curious about; piety. Piety is something he is very curious about and asks Euthyphro many
questions about it.
Euthyphro gives five intricate versions of piety, but one of them is peculiar and brings to my
attention. On page 7 line a, Euthyphro states that what is dear to the gods is pious, what is not is
impious. This definition poses a valid argument and an invalid argument. The implications I gather
from it is that

Katie Otto Research Paper
Katie Otto from American Housewife
Amanda Huebner
Gateway Technical College
When you think of great moms throughout television past they exhibit the same list of endearing
qualities. They are smart, strong and very loving. Moms in television presently also have those
qualities but they have evolved. Real moms today are typically balancing a full time career, a family
and a social life. Katie Otto, from the show American Housewife, possess numerous qualities
millennial mothers can relate to by simply being her imperfect self in a community of perfect
cookie cutter moms. As you can tell from the title of the show, Katie is a housewife and stay at
home mom. She and her husband Greg have three children, Taylor, Oliver and Anna Kat. Greg is a
college professor in the stuffy town of Westport where they rent a modest home and drive a mini
van. The Westport community is a rich one; mansions and luxury cars surround the Otto s.
Needless to say they do not exactly fit in. That might bother some moms but not Katie, she doesn t
try to be someone she is not.
She is quick witted, confident and unapologetic which doesn t boast well with the other moms in
town. She doesn t care about material things or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

telling her. (Season 2, Episode 2 Boar Dain ) Katie tried to make him return the barbeque but
when she was told she wasn t being supportive she tried to get onboard. He went to buy a pig and

Social Work Values
Social work is a vast field with complex and numerous factors that can create confusion on what
exactly the social work profession is. Many theories and values have been assigned to social work
based scientific development and studies, assumptions and inherent beliefs, which can only add to
the chaotic understanding of the profession. Although the National Association of Social Workers
(NASW) was only founded in 1955, (Platt and Cooreman 2001, pg. 113) social workhas been
utilized for centuries, including Henry VIII of England who passed an act mandating, local
parishes to take care of their destitute and create a procedure for the collection and
administration of donations to the poor. (Platt and Cooreman 2001, pg. 92). Discussed in the
following is a more concrete definition of social work along with core values needed to be
acquired to support the practice of social work effectively. Social work can be defined as,
promoting social justice and social change with and on behalf of clients. (NASW, 2008,
Preamble) Simply put, social workers are there to advocate and promote a more tolerable world
in which everyone in society is treated equally, with fairness and are provided the same
opportunities. In addition to this definition, some value assumptions have to be clearly made in
order to support the profession of social work. The values that best compliment the above
definition are most suitably described in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) code

Adversity In Harrison Bergeron
Is adversity important in society? Harrison Bergeron is a short story written by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
It is about a dystopian future that is overly exaggerated as a future for it s ridiculous methods of
equality, such as handicapping someone so they are like everyone else. In The Giver everyone is
similar or transpires to be; competition isn t infatuated for, so no one strives for it. Adversity really
isn t considered a pleasant quality; it more makes you an outcast than anything else; however,
adversity influences the human essence of creativity, improvement, and competition, which all
prosper enjoyment. Jonas, the main character of The Giver, becomes different by being an
intellectual (pg. 127). He knows more than most and therefore feels

Role Of Women During The Victorian Era
British literature and culture has been shaped by many movements and time periods. The Victorian
Period had a huge impact on many aspects in British literature and culture. The roles of women
were greatly affected during this time period. The question of what women could (or should) do
attracted a lot of debate in the Victorian era. There are numerous characteristics about The Victorian
Period, one of them being the transformation of Britain. From the1830 s to the 1870 s, as seen in
Victorian Literature, Britain underwent changes that transformed the lives of its people. The
Rail network began in the 1830 s and was completed by the 1870 s. The Rail network had a great
effect on the travel, appearance of the countryside, and speed of movement. Financial sector and
trade grew significantly and British manufacturing became dominant in the world. Influence
overseas and British power expanded and seemed to be permanent. Population grew from around
12 million to 25 million in 58 years. This period also saw the consequent growth of large cities
and also a significant shift of population from the country side to the towns. Another characteristic
was an age of optimism. The Victorian age saw itself as a time of confident progress. The Victorian
age was a turbulent period which, from numerous points of view, considered itself to be a period of
certain advancement. Numerous individuals trusted that Britain was driving the world into another
and better age: More illuminated laws, the

Reducing Number of Infiltration Cycles for La0.8Sr0.2FeO3 YSZ Cathodes
Xiaoyan Li
Abstract
In order to decrease the number of cycles of infiltration and maintain a comparable cathode
performance, the viability of using a conductive composite scaffold of La0.8Sr0.2FeO3 and yttria
stablized zirconia (YSZ) with one infiltration cycle was investigated. The infiltration material is
nitrate salt solution of La, Sr, Co and Fe to form La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3 perovskite phase.
Cathodes fabricated from scaffolds using different ratios of LSF YSZ were tested by impedance
spectroscopy with the results showing that the ohmic resistance decreases as the amount of LSF
increases. In addition, scaffolds calcined at 1350oC exhibited ... Show more content on

1,2 In this case, YSZ is included in the cathode to provide ionic conductivity, as well as enhancing
the connection between the electrode and the YSZ electrolyte. YSZ in the electrode also helps match
the thermal expansion of the electrode to the electrolyte.1 4 The functions of LSM in the composite
cathode include providing electronic conductivity and catalytic activity, but with negligible
contributions to ionic conductivity.4,5
The conventional method for fabricating the electrode is to deposit and sinter a mixture of the
electrode composites onto a dense YSZ electrolyte.4 The sintering temperature must be a
compromise, high enough to ensure the good connection between YSZ in the electrode and the
electrolyte, but low enough to prevent solid state reactions between the electrode composites.2,5
Indeed, most conducting perovkites are unable to be prepared due to the formation of insulating
phases at high temperatures required for YSZ sintering.4 Therefore, the infiltration method was
initially developed to separate the high calcination temperature required to densify the YSZ
electrolyte from the lower calcinations temperature needed for the other electrode components.1,4,5
Furthermore, the infiltration method provides a nonrandom structure where the electronically
conductive components are deposited into the previously formed porous YSZ scaffold.1 4
Infiltration also forms superior

The Drum Research Paper
The drums are one of humanities oldest musical instrument and, like all instruments, the drums
continue existing to this day as a method of communication. Previously drumming was often used
as a social mediator, played to bring together the community and act as a vehicle in carrying
messages and stories, alongside ceremonial use. However, within the last century, the drums have
morphed radically into their current potential purpose and capabilities. Drifting from their roots as a
vehicle for the community into its very own art, and modern drumming is undeniably an art,
requiring immense dedication and devotion to actualise a drummer s potential. Similar to other

Dynamics refers to the level of force used on the drum in order to create the desired volume.
Dynamics is necessary in all drumming in directing attention and suggesting what the audience
should be doing, thinking, feeling, etc., etc. The volume level is obviously different for the
macrosystem of drumming like the style and genre that s encompassing the music. Aloud and
heavy four on the floor wouldn t suit jazz as that s not what s trying to be conveyed, instead
feathering is a more common jazz use of the kick drum which involves lighter hit so it s not
pronounced and oppressive to the rest of the music; however, this heavy beat would be perfect
for house or disco as it is much easier to dance to at a nightclub, which is exactly what the
drummer is going for in this setting. This demonstrates dynamics relationship to the type of
music, but it also varies within the microsystem the individuals input of the drumming, on a beat
by beat basis. The drummer again has to judge and monitor what volume level they assume is
appropriate, this refers to all of the strokes but also individual hits to accentuate specific parts.
This is a necessary part of microsystemic drumming as accents is responsible for a lot of direction
of where the music is going. It can build a crescendo in a fill or ease a diminuendo, which may
signify that a change is about to happen. This has room for

Homo Sapiens Research Paper
Homo sapiens, or consciously thinking human , evolved 25,000 years ago forming an
unprecedented presence in the environment and the efficient exploitation of the environment.
Physiological structural advantages aided the Homo sapiens in taking the upper hand over other
species. A fundamental difference in the brain structure of the Homo sapiens was a well developed
frontal region where conscious and reflective thought takes place. Intelligence is the sharp edge of
survival for these hominids because physically they are not endowed with great strength or natural
means of defense which battle natural selection in the animal kingdom. Change in physiognomy
such as upright walking posture with opposable thumbs freed the hands from the task of
locomotion and was instead applied for the creation of higher sophisticated tools. Development of
language allowed for communication enhancing cooperation and a sense of cohesion as well as
paving the way for collective learning which is the drive for creating complexity. Homo sapiens

Two examples of these plays would be Words, Words, Words and Sure Thing Form his collection of plays called All in the Timing. There are many different examples of repetition in each play. Ives repeats one certain thing and makes this repetition mean many different things. In Sure Thingthere is the repetition of the bell , which represent how we tend to make snap judgments on people, and how we all strive for perfection. He also uses the repetition of the words sure thing to represent how nothing in life can really be considered a sure thing. In contrast in Words, Words, Words Ives uses the repetition of the Monkeys typing to represent how sometimes luck gets us to where we need to be. Ives also uses the repetition of Milton exhibiting typical Monkey behavior to show how we can repetition as a form of manipulation The bell rings twenty eight times in Sure Thing. Every time Bill says something that Betty does not find desirable the bell will ring and Bill gets another chance to woo her. Ives uses the repetition of the bell ringing to show how we as humans make snap judgments on people. As soon as we learn one fact about a person we base everything they say on that one fact and that it is very hard to come back from a bad first impression. Bill s ability to gage Betty s reaction allows him to manipulate her to make himself seem more desirable. This results in him succeeding and them leaving ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. Identify Your Strengths At Work Finding your passion is a process that works from the inside out. Getting to know your likes and dislikes allows you to pick jobs that complement your strengths. However, if we don t know ourselves well enough to identify those strengths we may need to look at what we do for a living to see what we are good at. Strengths usually become strengths because we spend a lot of time in that area, and we normally only invest time in areas we are passionate about. Let s look at an example analyzed a strength I found by analyzing my roles and behaviors at work. I m here because I believe in you! I said. If you want something bad enough, and you push yourself hard enough, you will achieve it! the students gawked at me. My voice weaved high and low as I stood in front of my third grade students. They began to clap at the end of my speech on respect and perseverance, and wanted to reach my expectations. You will know when you have tapped into your passion because others will respond to your energy. Another way to identify your strength at work is by paying attention to the compliments you receive from coworkers. Think of an area where many of your co workers come to you for help. Is it for advice about how to solve a conflict? About how to fix a specific machine part? Or for proofreading an email? Your strengths in these areas are not by chance.... • 6. The Sidewalk Racer Analysis Views of Being Alone The two poems and the passage I read are alike. The characters in the poems The Sidewalk Racer , When I Read , and the character in a passage from Z for Zachariah have different point of views. There are similarities and differences in the way the characters view being alone. First, in the poem, The Sidewalk Racer by Lillian Morrison, the author addresses the meaning of being alone by writing about someone who is riding a skateboard and likes being alone. In the poem the speaker says, I m the one and only single engine human automobile. This has meaning. If the rider was riding with someone, they wouldn t be the one and only. Because of this, I think this person enjoys being alone. Because the author wrote in a positive tone, I think the character likes it. This person is obviously excited about what she does. This person views themselves as superior when they re alone I suppose. Second, in the poem, When I Read by Lillian Morrison, the author addresses the meaning of being alone by writing about someone who runs but reads books. They like to be alone in my opinion. I also haven t been able to trim my hair, so now it is very long and untamable. He seems to be quite fond of us and our mission. I am currently sheltered in a hotel room provided by the king himself, Liholiho. Most of the Hawaiians have taken a liking to our way of life, too. They are quite peculiar. Can you believe that the Hawaiians wear loincloths and mini dresses on the daily? I find that to be very obnoxious and offensive. I thought that it was blatant knowledge to not show skin. Some Hawaiians, however, have tried to protest against us. Maybe they re just biased. We ll convert them soon enough. Regardless, I just wanted to inform you that so far, our mission to convert the Hawaiians has been going quite well. Their economy is a lot different from the economy that we have back in England. First of all, the Hawaiians don t have many schools. Our teachers and some of the missionaries are working with the Hawaiians to try and get schools created. CD data is represented as tiny indentations known as pits , these pits are encoded in a spiral track that if unrolled from it spiral would be around 5.5 km long, the spiral is moulded into the top of the polycarbonate layer, these are microscopic and usually expressed in the measurement of a micron Вµm which is 1 millionth of a meter. The areas between pits are known as lands . The pits are even smaller than the lands and are approximately 100 nm deep by 500 Вµm wide, and vary from 850 Вµm to 3.5 Вµm in length. The measurement of the pit represents the binary information of the data stored on the disc. The optical system employs a highly coherent light source and the pits are made approximately a quarter wavelength deep. The readout beam axis is nominally aligned to be perpendicular to the disc plane. When there are no pit land edges in the spot, all of the reflected beam will share the same phase. The phase of the reflected beam will, however, change by 180 degrees when the spot moves from pit to land or vice versa. When the optical spot traverses a pit land edge the magnitude of the beam reflected back into the sensor will momentarily drop almost to zero...The reflected beam then consists of two portions, equal in magnitude but opposite in phase. Piercy s use of irony is detected within the title itself barbie doll . I envision it to revolve around the ideal barbie image alot of people make great efforts to achieve. However, this is where the true irony comes in. Barbies are popular for their unnatural slim bodies and perfect features and because they are played with by little girls, that image becomes the image teenagers and girls look for. Yet, in the poem the girldoes not have barbie doll features. a fat nose on thick legs, (835) is what she was being teased about because she hit puberty. Then in the magic of puberty Puberty is when your body begins to change into an adult and there s nothing magical about that, especially for the little girl because it caused her to be teased for her appearences. In the last few lines of the poem, piercy refers to a happy ending it is a depressing thought. Consummation at last. To every woman a happy ending (24 25) is very sarcastic and pessimistic. She is basically saying that at last the end has come and its a feeling of pleasure since the girl got her wish, but at what cost did she become a barbie. The poet s use of imagery is all over the poem when we reflect on the girl childhood and how she was teased for her fat nose on thick legs she doesn t resemble a barbie doll with perfect nose and legs. These prolonged and often violent debates revolved around demands for equality through which oppressed groups could attain their liberation. As such it is not surprising that the movement for animal liberation stems from these concerns. In fact, they are explicitly allied with them. While education levels have risen, the conventional wisdom is that this would cause levels of voter turnout and party attachment to climb, however, this has not been the case. (Nevitte 1996, 50 51) Despite the great deal of research on this topic, there is not consensus on the answer to this question. In these interviews I attempted to look at how different forms of participation were viewed by members of the LBGTQ+ community, in order to draw some inferences about why youth are less likely to vote. Hypothesis LBGTQ+ students will be less likely to participate in traditional forms of political participation, such as writing to an MP or becoming active in a Political Party, as a way to address equity issues. Instead they will be more likely to engage in more grassroots, individual acts of activism. Case selection Addressing the question of why youth do not vote is a large task and one that would require much more than two interviews. I chose to focus down onto the LBGTQ+ community as a most likely case to find low levels of traditional political involvement and high levels of interpersonal grassroots activism. Due to social views on being homosexual, gender queer, or transsexual, etc., until quite recently, the LBGTQ+ community was totally excluded from traditional politics. American merchants tried to go around the economic sealing but the British formed new laws called Orders in council to block that trading. Anytime the British warships stopped American merchants they took the British sailors for the Navy. Most of the men that were brought were British, the rare American would be there occasionally. Most British sailors who were found were breaking the law by leaving the Royal Navy. Britain and France were consumed in war, there was no in between. American statesmen admitted (non publicly) the American merchants were British subjects. Many British people thought the Orders in council law should be let loose somewhat and the law was demolished the month of June 1812. • 34. Analysis Of Tongues By John Lyons Out of curiosity, two friends decide to sneak through the back door of a recently deserted old mansion. They explore in silence for fear of the unknown. The first person ahead constantly looks back at the second person. What is bound to go through the second person s mind? Is it unsafe ahead? Is something wrong? What is the person ahead trying to communicate? That is an example of how a horsewould feel when led by a human who looks back at him. Remember, horses rely on good leadership for survival. So, with the human constantly looking back, it tells the horse that the person is not safe to follow. The human is not a leader. Leadership is guiding another with confidence. Firstly, horses are intelligent creatures with different personalities, abilities, and sensitivities. Humans should realize that each horse has a different need and that each training requirement is different. In the second place, people often comment that their horses are too senseless to need a choice. A while back, I read a story about a mare who was dying from fighting an illness and exhaustion. Before she died, she walked for days across exposed moors leading her foal to the safety of a farm where she died less than twenty four hours later. She died after knowing her foal was safe. Does that sound like a senseless horse? A horse with that much intelligence, to have no choice during training? It is inconceivable. Horses are not incapable of understanding communication; it is up to the human not to send out mixed signals. In the third place, when the human sends the horse away during equine training, the person is giving the horse a choice. Either the horse will stay away or come back to safety. When the person gives the horse a choice, the horse is very willing to work. Another example is when a horse is standing next to the human, and the horse starts to bump the person with his head; signs of trying to dominate the human, the person will move the horse away. The first inclination of the animal is to come back where the person is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Another aspect to consider is that influencer marketing agencies that have a more manual approach will progressively put themselves out of business. Technological businesses will gradually replace them because they know how to get a one to one relationship with the influencers but also to identify them through technology. The results from a study suggest that spotting has a negligible effect in generating angular momentum during the double support phase of a pirouette. Another source concurred that the rotational momentum of a turn is a quantity, and that the total rotational momentum of the body can only change if external torque acts on the body. Cisco was supposed to comply with contractual commitments for parts availability and repair times, while dispatching thousands of spare parts and technician visits daily. While the volume of service activities were increasing, Cisco couldn t maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Customers were not receiving what they needed at the moment. Offering this service out of time was affecting the quality and speed of the product service process. * B2B Integration Operations and Technology. In the late 1990s, Cisco began to create automated data links and processes between Cisco enterprise resource planning and Cisco channel partners. The initial idea was a sales portal on the Cisco.com Website, but this website was only serving 50% of Cisco channel partners. The portal was affecting the speed and quality of the process and was not adequate to meet the needs of the largest partners, who had to spend two to three hours of data entry to place large orders. 2. • 53. Fiber Optic Network For Overall Broadband Systems Essay Abstract: Fiber optic frameworks are essential telecom foundation for overall broadband systems. Wide transmission capacity signal transmission with low postpone is a key prerequisite in present day applications. Optical strands give tremendous and amazing transmission data transfer capacity with immaterial inactivity, and are presently the transmission medium of decision for long separation and high information rate transmission in telecom systems. This paper gives an outline of fiber optic correspondence frameworks including their key innovations, furthermore talks about their innovative pattern towards the following generation. Index Terms Bandwidth, Broadband, Fiber optics, Latency, Telecommunication. Introduction: The significant main force behind the far reaching utilization of fiber optics communication is the high and quickly expanding customer and business interest for more telecom limit and web administrations, with fiber optic innovation equipped for giving the obliged data limit (bigger than both remote associations and copper link). Advances in technology have empowered more information to be passed on through a solitary optical fiber over long separations. The transmission limit in optical communication systems are fundamentally enhanced utilizing wavelength division multiplexing. An alluring highlight for future optical systems is the capacity to process data totally in the optical area with the end goal of intensification, multiplexing, de multiplexing, ... • 54. Homo Sapiens Research Paper Homo sapiens, or consciously thinking human , evolved 25,000 years ago forming an unprecedented presence in the environment and the efficient exploitation of the environment. Physiological structural advantages aided the Homo sapiens in taking the upper hand over other species. A fundamental difference in the brain structure of the Homo sapiens was a well developed frontal region where conscious and reflective thought takes place. Intelligence is the sharp edge of survival for these hominids because physically they are not endowed with great strength or natural means of defense which battle natural selection in the animal kingdom. Change in physiognomy such as upright walking posture with opposable thumbs freed the hands from the task of locomotion and was instead applied for the creation of higher sophisticated tools. Development of language allowed for communication enhancing cooperation and a sense of cohesion as well as paving the way for collective learning which is the drive for creating complexity. Homo sapiens used superior intelligence, sophisticated tools, and language to exploit the natural world more efficiently than any other species... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Controlled use of fire created an artificial source of heat, defense or protection against larger animals, and furnished with a means of preparing food. There are benefits in the cooking of meat: since meat is the only source of protein in the community diet, it makes it easier digestible for the metabolism and the food could be preserved guarding against the continuous threat of starvation. Fire was also used in the production of clothing, treating of animal hides, and the hardening of tools and weapons. Archeological excavations have shown that in especially cold regions mounds of ashes were found at the campsites which meant that Homo sapiens kept fire burning continuously during the winter ...
