How does an educator keep up with the blogs, micro-blogs, social networks, and email in order to learn from others and contribute their own expertise? Come learn how! The objective of the presentation is to provide time-proven strategies for gathering, sifting, and harvesting information using quick, easy methods.
3. Beth Knittle is the District K-12 Technology Integration specialist for Barnstable Public Schools Beth is presenting with Christine Spence-Dilley on Wednesday. Media in a Math Resource Room In 2007 Barnstable public schools began to participate in the Assistive Learning in an Integrated Collaborative Environment, grant 170, which provided students with learning disabilities laptops for classroom instruction. Explore ways to transform the learning environment of the math resource room into one rich with technology and media. Instruction and remediation can be tailor-made to meet individual student objectives using free Web tools and multimedia, allowing students to participate in a one-to-one laptop environment for daily instruction.
