AS Media- Results
The purposeof this research would be to see how old most people are who
buy music magazines and what type of music they like which would help
decide whattype of music magazine it should be. I could also decide what
price to make the magazinedepending on if people are employed or not. I
would also find out wither people buy music magazines any more or not.
Fromthis question I can tell who the
magazines target audience would be and what
age people are who read magazines. As you
can see fromthe graph 100% of people are
between the ages of 14-20 so that would be
the magazines target audience. Fromthis we
know that the magazinewill target in that age
group.
Fromthis question wecan find out what
gender reads more magazines and who
should be targeted more in magazines. As
you can see from this graph, 90% of people
are female and 10% are male. Fromthis we
can tell that mostly girls will read magazine
and they will be moretargeted in the
magazine. Fromthis we know what gender
to target and what to put on the frontcover
of the magazine.
Fromthe graph we can tell that 60% of
people between the ages of 14-20 are
employed and 40% of people are
unemployed. Fromthis we can tell that
most people between these ages are social
grade D which is working class which
would help decide the price of the
magazine. Fromthis question we know
that we can raise the price a bit because
most people have a job and would be able to afford it.
Fromthis question wecan tell whatjob
these people haveand it will also help
decide the price depending on how
good there job is and how much we
think they will be paid. From this I now
know I can makethe price a bit higher
because they would be able to afford it.
Fromthis graph we can see that 60% of
people read music magazines and 40%
don’t. This tells us that mostpeople will
buy the music magazine becausemore
people said yes than no.
This question tells us why people said
that they don’tread music magazines
and why they don’tlike them. This
could help improve my magazine and
trying and make it appeal to everyone
so people will read it.
In this question the mostknown magazine
was Kerrang and the least know magazine
was Metal Hammer. Fromthis I know not
too make a magazine that is like Metal
Hammer and base Itmore like Kerrang
because morepeople like it. Even though
there the same kind of magazine Kerrang is
well known. I could also make the
magazine like Q and Mixmag because
those two were the second best known.
On thisquestion mostpeoplesaidthattheirfavourite genre
was pop.90% of people choose pop.People leastpickedgenre
was bluesbecause nobodypickedit. Thisquestionhelps
determinedwhatgenre people like andwhatgenre of
magazine will buy.FromthisquestionIknow thatmost people
like popmusicsotheywouldprobablybya popmagazine over
a bluesmagazine.Ialsoknow thatpeople alsolike Rockand
R&B so people maybuythe magazine more.

AS Media- Results The purposeof this research would be to see how old most people are who buy music magazines and what type of music they like which would help decide whattype of music magazine it should be. I could also decide what price to make the magazinedepending on if people are employed or not. I would also find out wither people buy music magazines any more or not. Fromthis question I can tell who the magazines target audience would be and what age people are who read magazines. As you can see fromthe graph 100% of people are between the ages of 14-20 so that would be the magazines target audience. Fromthis we know that the magazinewill target in that age group. Fromthis question wecan find out what gender reads more magazines and who should be targeted more in magazines. As you can see from this graph, 90% of people are female and 10% are male. Fromthis we can tell that mostly girls will read magazine and they will be moretargeted in the magazine. Fromthis we know what gender to target and what to put on the frontcover of the magazine.
  • 2. Fromthe graph we can tell that 60% of people between the ages of 14-20 are employed and 40% of people are unemployed. Fromthis we can tell that most people between these ages are social grade D which is working class which would help decide the price of the magazine. Fromthis question we know that we can raise the price a bit because most people have a job and would be able to afford it. Fromthis question wecan tell whatjob these people haveand it will also help decide the price depending on how good there job is and how much we think they will be paid. From this I now know I can makethe price a bit higher because they would be able to afford it. Fromthis graph we can see that 60% of people read music magazines and 40% don’t. This tells us that mostpeople will buy the music magazine becausemore people said yes than no.

This could help improve my magazine and trying and make it appeal to everyone so people will read it. In this question the mostknown magazine was Kerrang and the least know magazine was Metal Hammer. Fromthis I know not too make a magazine that is like Metal Hammer and base Itmore like Kerrang because morepeople like it. Even though there the same kind of magazine Kerrang is well known. I could also make the magazine like Q and Mixmag because those two were the second best known. On thisquestion mostpeoplesaidthattheirfavourite genre was pop.90% of people choose pop.People leastpickedgenre was bluesbecause nobodypickedit.
